Chocolate Croissant
DaNeysha C.

I happened to be in Littleton with my man over the weekend, and we spotted this cute little bakery in the heart of downtown Littleton. I love cake and coffee etc and once I peaked inside I knew we had to grab us a pastry from behind the counter. I got a crispy chocolate croissant that was just the right amount of sweetness for a Saturday morning. I also got a mocha latte which hit the spot. Customer service was very friendly and our sweets came out very quickly I was impressed. Everything tasted very good and fresh, including his almond butter croissant as well. I highly recommend this place to the locals and non-locals that are in the area.

You must eat here. That is all. 10/10. Everything is divine. I love their breakfast and their baked goods are sooo yummy

Amazing VEGAN birthday cake. We kept coming back as they are so good. We sent the sample picture of what my daughter wants and Born2Bake nailed it! It's even looks better than the picture! We got a lot of compliments for the cake. Thank you Nicha and Born2Bake for making our party more complete.

My friend has the most epic 80's themed cake made by this bakery. I totally assumed the cake was mostly fondant and it was not. The buttercream was amazing and not sickening sweet like you find in many cakes. The design was phenomenal. The cake was so delicious. I am not a big sweets eater, but I had two pieces. Highly recommended!!!!

Red velvet and flourless chocolate cake

One dessert was very good namely the flourless chocolate cake, not too sweet made of dark chocolate. Red velvet cupcake was just ok, too dry. I should come back to try more.

Our beautiful cake!

We ordered our wedding cake from here. The design was beautiful and it tasted delicious! They even had GF cupcakes of the same flavor to accommodate our gluten free guests. Highly recommend!

The chocolate croissant was one of the best I've ever had. Average lattes. I got some cupcakes to go and they were surprisingly good. I will be back to try the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and the cinnamon roll. Super friendly staff.

Small ceremony cake

After visiting multiple bakeries in the Greater Denver Area, we chose Born2Bake for our wedding cake. What sold us was that their cupcakes were nice and moist and packed with so much flavor. We started with a cake tasting which gave us the opportunity to try four different cake flavors, fillings, and frostings. There were so many wonderful tasting options so it made our decision difficult. When it came to ordering the cake, Nicha was so helpful. She walked us through different cake sizes and servings so we could decide what to order. We had two cakes, one for an intimate ceremony and one for a large party, and she made the process so easy for both of the orders. We had told her we would be making a long drive after picking up the small cake, so she even froze it for us so it would keep safe during our travels. On the day of the delivery for the large cake, she was so patient and helpful with getting the cake set up, and even did last minute decorations for us when she saw we were busy with other set up. We cannot thank Nicha enough for her help and service! The cakes were such a hit with all of our guests. We also ordered gluten free and vegan cupcakes, and our guests with dietary restrictions were so excited to have delicious treats they could eat. Many of our local guests asked where we got the cakes so we recommended Born2Bake to all who asked! Seriously consider ordering cakes for parties and events from here, they won't disappoint!!

It gives off the vibes of an old apothecary - featuring wood shelves to the ceiling filled with a canister filled with loose leaf tea that the baristas need a ladder to reach, SO many cozy nooks to read, work or catch up with friends. Half the store is a little shop selling unique tea goods old and new. ++ Staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu is massive and offers more than just drinks but alcohol cocktails, loose leave tea by the pound and more. The girl behind the counter helped us narrow down our interests and flavor profiles to help us choose drinks to order. ++ Pricing is on point and reasonable. I will say, the main negative for me was the tea was overall, just MEH to me. I ordered a Thai Tea with boba, and it was definitely not what I thought it would be. It tasted like watered down dirt - but the boba was fun. My husband thought his orange tea was average at best and could use some sweetener. Just some newbie tea drinkers, I guess. Overall, I'm sure we'd return if something catches our eye, but I'll order something different next time.

The roasts are flavorful and deep. The "sweet" coffees aren't overly so, adding to rather than overpowering the coffee. I've enjoyed the cold foams featured in recent months. Many people find it to be a good place to work so often finding a place to sit with a friend is a challenge. When the weather is warm there is an outdoor area which helps. Right before Christmas, I met up with a fellow cat-sitter for coffee and catch-up at this coffee shop, that neither of us had been to before. I came down from Denver and she came over from Highlands Ranch. I am loving catching up with friends in Littleton! Mango Tree was spacious (which I LOVE) and had lots of seating options. It was also well lit and had a retail merch area. I noticed at checkout that there was coffee mug for something like $300. I was like WHAT ..is that about. I was then told it was like a neighborhood membership where you get free coffee for a year with a purchase of the mug. That is SO neighborhood VIBE! Okay, I don't live in Littleton, but if I did - what a cool hangout and coffee program! I'm not sure how residential it is right around the downtown of Littleton but if I lived within walking distance of Mango Tree that membership would be VERY tempting. There did seem to be nice sprinkle of locals - people seeming to know each other - baristas and guests and my friend and I were warmly welcomed into the fold. I got a pretty latte and my friend got black coffee and we enjoyed our catch-up convo on a couch. They weren't open super late on the day that we were there. I want to say they closed at 4 or something so going earlier for long catch-up convos is recommended!

My daughter went through their program years ago. When she started I wasn't sure she'd ever be able to hold a job. She lacked the general skills, though I knew she could learn those easily enough. What I was concerned about was the confidence and level of communication which is required to attend to the average customer, and coworker. Today she is in another barista position full time. She loves it! She's great at it. She is even training others now. She has truly gained the skills to make her own way in the world and leave folks with a smile. I'm very proud of her progress. She seemed openly unhappy to be there and was very unpleasant to all customers. We found Dirt on Apple Maps, which listed the coffee shop as open until 5 p.m., but when we arrived, we discovered it had moved. After tracking down the new location, we finally ordered drinks, only for the staff to start closing almost immediately. I asked about their hours, and the barista curtly told me they're closing and I could sit outside. I heard her drive away other guests who'd just bought drinks too. Another staff member said I could stay for a bit, but by then, I didn't feel welcome. As I sat outside, I ended up telling at least four groups of people that the place was closed. They really need to update their online listings, while that barista needs to learn some basic manners. We won't be coming back.
