I like this place more than I thought I would. Service was quick and friendly. The food was extraordinarily well prepared absolutely no issue with quality for the money. They could've been slightly larger portions, but it was fine. The margaritas could've been a tad better as could be Trace Leche cake. The caramel flan was pretty good all at all. I would say these guys exceeded my expectations.

We came back here for lunch after last experience. It did not disappoint! Always delicious. The guacamole, enchiladas, and tacos were all so good. Our server was very busy but the additional support staff helped keep us well hydrated and accommodated. The restaurant is always clean and simply decorated. We will be back.

Best AYCE brunch on the Strip. This is a buffet that is brought to you by- you order 3-4 small plates at a time and they are quickly delivered to your table. We loved that the meal wasn't broken up by jumping up and down for more food and also loved that we knew someone hadn't sneezed on the tongs as can happen in buffets. The food itself was great - a nice variety of savory and sweet. We especially loved the horchata french toast, the chicken and churro waffles (they have a kick!) and the campechana. They were also willing to remove meat from dishes as my spouse doesn't eat beef or pork. We didn't do the bottomless mimosas - but did have an espresso martini which was delicious.

Highly recommended to make a reservation if you want to eat here. We arrived at 1ish in the afternoon, two adults with a baby in a stroller...took a little for the young lady to find a spot for us. She eventually found a table that could accommodate us on the patio. Mind you, today is very windy and they also have the heaters above on, so it's a strange feeling sitting out here. It's very loud, but we're in Vegas so that's to be expected. We sat here for a while waiting for our server. We never got any water or chips like the other tables. Very disappointing that it took about 15 minutes until our server came to our table and asked if she could get us a drink. I ordered a white peach lemonade mocktail and it was a great refresher. We also asked for water and it took a good 5 minutes to get those. Also got the Guac of the Month, which was basically their typical guac with bacon and garlic, very good. It's pleasing to the eye as well, topped with kale (she can eat that) HA! We ordered tacos, spicy shrimp, fish, and carne asada. The plate comes with three tacos, beans and rice; you may either get all 3 of the same, or mix and match as we did for a few bucks more. Welp, the plate arrived and I was not impressed. Let's see if it taste great....and disappointed. I do. It recommend the fish taco, maybe it was an off day, but it was too fishy, like sardines. We did not enjoy that. The carne asada was okay, the meat was soft but there was no seasoning that made the meat flavorful. All you could taste was salsa topping on it. As for the spicy shrimp taco, that was great. Flavorful and tasty; a bit oily, but it was the best tasting taco out of all three that we ordered. I tried it, I most likely won't return. Try it and see if you have a better experience. Also, the server only came back once at the end of our meal.

Great, more casual place to eat in Mandalay Bay! Loved the options for mocktails. I did the skirt steak and it was excellent

It's become a bit of a game day tradition for us to come to Border Grill for brunch before home Raiders games at nearby Allegiant Stadium. It's an easy walk and this is a terrific place to get full bellies and pregame! On weekends, Border Grill features a bottomless small plates brunch for around 50 bucks. It's an incredible deal with a good variety of dishes so you can sample lots of different things from the menu. Even better, you can add on all-you-can-drink Mimosas, Micheladas, or Bloody Marys for less than $40! To me, this is where the value lies. I do wish the brunch menu had more options, but note that you can also order off a limited lunch menu. Here's my pro tip #1: you can still get the bottomless cocktails deal if you order an entree! Score! I usually get the chicken quesadilla with black beans and rice and bottomless Mimosas. It's pricey but worth it (especially because the drinks keep flowing). The mimosas come with three different juices (usually orange, cranberry, and then a juice of the day). My favorite is when they have the blood orange or strawberry. The bubbles are in the form of a bottle of Italian prosecco that's a decent quality. It's not fancy, but it'll do. There is a two hour limit on the bottomless booze. Pro tip #2: ask for a to-go cup when you're ready to leave. You can pour in a mimosa and take it with you as you walk over to the stadium! The vibe is lively but relaxed, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are some patio tables overlook the pool area, which adds a fun, sunny touch if the weather is nice. The restaurant is casual, colorful, and energetic without being chaotic. The indoor dining area lacks character, but I do enjoy the small bar here. It's a pretty big space that occupies two stories. My favorite place to sit is on the covered outdoor deck area during the cooler fall months. I've also dined here for dinner, but the brunch is where the bargain is. Locals, they've recently discontinued the locals discount but they do have a new frequent diner program so make sure you ask to sign up. The points and freebies rack up quickly. You can also utilize and earn points across a variety of restaurants that are also run by Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. Border Grill has good, chef-driven food, offers bottomless drinks, and provides a fun, festive atmosphere. If you're in Vegas on a Raiders game day, the brunch is a no-brainer for pregame eats.

    Short rib enchiladas
    Summer C.

Came at 12:15, right at lunchtime, and this place was PACKED! It was probably because there was a volleyball tournament currently going on (Red Rock Rave), and the players needed somewhere to have lunch nearby. Luckily, I did not need to wait too long for seating because Border Grill has two floors! Loved how we had a lot of choose from the menu, and there were many gluten free choices. I got the short rib enchiladas. Compared to the plates of quesadillas and salads from Border Grill (which come is big portions), the short rib enchiladas seemed little. However though, the Enchiladas were actually really filling. Three enchiladas were able to make me soo full! Moral of the story: never doubt enchiladas, LOL. The enchiladas were really soft, and packed with short rib. Nearly the entire plate is filled with sauce, so each bite will never be dry. I have a friend who ordered the quesadillas.. she told me that it was very heavy. It comes in three slices, and I've heard from her that one slice is filling enough to get you full, and two slices if you're really hungry. The service was also great; the staff members are really nice and they make you feel right at home. Overall, Border Grill has given be a great impression, and I would be happy to come back and try other dishes from their menu!

This is an oasis located in Mandalay Bay. Food is absolutely delicious. Menu has innovative twists on Mexican classics. Starter guacamole was fresh and bright. Chips were freshly made. I had the pork dish and it was simply sublime. The cinnamon on the dish was perfection. Did the tequila flight- which was tasty. Phenomenal service- shout out to Michael. Great place to celebrate my birthday. Great value.

    Seafood Enchiladas - no good
    Peter M.

I finally made it to the Border Grill at the Mandalay Bay. There were no appropriate signs to find this place, until the end. There's all this hype about the famous LA chefs who now have outposts over here. I came here for something different and started with the trio of salsas. That was good. The seafood enchilada seemed from a frozen bag then baked. More like taquitos. Tough and dry on the outside. Only nice optics. Yes, looks can be deceptive. The inside components were supposed to have crab, lobster and shrimp. Zero texture. Seafood flavor only. More of a mash. Did not see any of the components, except a small cut up piece of shrimp or two. It was also excessively salty, giving me further affirmation that what came to my table, was probably from a package. I asked Justin the server, whether it was freshly prepared ...he said it was prepared in the morning and then kept. All the facts did not add up. No fresh taste. The side of rice and black beans (does not come with it. You have to order it separately, for a cost) were okay. Anyone can make them. The way I see it, an experience at any restaurant needs to be holistic. The unfriendly hostess Michelle, sent me on two runarounds. One to a restroom really far away, when there was one close by from the inside of the restaurant. And then sent me in the opposite direction for a non existent Uber pick up location. The busboy Jose, was very rude and laughed at me, when I tried to change tables to avoid the sunlight glare (I take a photosensitive medication). Stephanie, the manager, on the other hand, was understanding and empathetic. Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger are highly regarded, established and lauded Chefs, that have a well deserved reputation. How come this did not translate to Las Vegas. The whole experience was nothing much to talk about.

Go in here and order a strawberry basil margarita and some dobladitas. I added carnitas to mine and it was heavenly. Everyone at the bar always provides excellent service Eve. During crazy convention time. There are two levels to this beautiful restaurant, the bar is located in the top floor

I will say the service was quick and timely for a busy restaurant. The one thing that was off was that we did have to ask for silverware once our food arrived. Overall the food was pretty good, the guac was good, but oddly served on a plate rather than in a bowl... I did really enjoy the seafood enchiladas they had so much flavor with the lobster cream sauce.

Service is great here, fun spot for the family to dine at Mandalay Bay. We did the lunch option during brunch, and all our entrees were great. The quesadilla was huge, and the tacos were well portioned. Definitely ask for extra salsa.

    Leona S.

Food is good. They'll start you off with freshly cooked chips with guacamole & 3 different dipping sauces. We had to order a second guac, the first one is complimentary but the second one you'll have to pay. Had Pollo Relleno and tried the short rib enchilada. Then we had the churro sams which & capirotada which is a bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Both good but i would go back for capirotada! The place is nice, can hold up a big party which is us all the time. Our server is good, i didnt get his name but he did a good job serving us.

Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

Six different lines, and if I hadn't gone with someone who had been before I would have been so bewildered. You're supposed to line up in front of the sign that has what you want on it. The lines are divided by meat type. So if you want some pork tacos get in the adobada line and figure out what you want the pork in--tacos, sopes, mulas, quesadillas, vampiro (not related to vampires, I was disappointed to find), tostadas, or taco Azteca (this took me a while to figure out, it's cactus). And if you want a different meat you gotta line up again in the line for that other meat. I got tacos. The pork comes sliced fresh off the spinny thing that is cooking the meat. Very good. Delicious. I can see why the place is so popular. Would go again.

This location is on the Strip near Paris and on the outside of the mall that has Planet Hollywood. We recommend that you try to get parking in the mall. They say the first hour is free, but ND does not validate However, the slightly cheaper lot across the street currently uses the Metropolis parking app/web service, both of which were unuseable and super frustrating. We saw many other people give up trying to pay and leave and several reviews online for disputed fees for their services when we tried to get help to pay. We happened to go on a Tuesday, which was Cinco de Mayo. We arrived about 2:30 for linner (the meal between lunch and dinner) Consequently, they had a $10 for 3 street tacos and a BOGO for Margaritas. In addition to these specials, we also got their chicken taquitos and friend ice cream. Everything was good, none of it was bad, but none of it was truly excellent. We would order everything we got again. The taquitos were the kind that are larger in diameter and lightly fried. The amount of meat was average, not light or a lot. The guac and cream were runny pre-topped rather than sides. The street tacos were much better quality than the taquitos. We got the filet, chicken, and pork. The chicken was prepared the best as it was moist, well seasoned, and had a good quantity of meat. The quantity of meat on the other tacos was also good, not skimpy at all, but the seasoning and cooking, while good, were not as good as the chicken. We had just had pork steer taco the previous night at the AYCE buffet, which was so much better, but ND's tacos were still very good. The hostess recommended the Hibiscus Margarita when she seated us and alerted us to their specials. It was rimmed with sugar and was a little sweet. The flowery flavor got stronger the further down you drank despite stirring to try to even out the flavor before drinking it. It was just ok, but definitely good enough to get again and to try for the first time if you never had it. Their standard Margarita was very good and definitely wroth getting again. The fried ice cream is not to be mistaken for their fire Carmel ice cream. It is not the actual or standard fried ice cream that places like the Acapulco restaurant make, which are super cold ice cream that is actually fried inside a sugar donut shell and covered with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Rather, ND's fried ice cream does NOT appear to be fried at all, but covered in corn flakes and served with dessert style sweet fluffy tortilla chips covered in chocolate and strawberry sauce--apparently the chips are the fried part. Nevertheless, ND's version is a nice desert, but just not the historic fried ice cream--we would get it again, but might try to flaming Carmel one next time. The highlight of our visit was actually the service. We were seated in the bar area and a blonde woman who seemed to be sharing the bar tending responsibilities with two other women served us. Unfortunately, we do not remember her name, but she was obviously working really hard and did an EXCELLENT job waiting on us. Overall, and except for the parking, which is not ND's responsibility, we had a great visit here, would come back, and would recommend you give them a try. We have had their nachos on our previous visit and they are just ok, but they have a wide variety and the serving sizes are super big--they also pair well with their cocktails.

I got the guava mimosa and my friend got the mango one, and honestly both were absolutely delicious. So when in Vegas! The whole place is stunning. It feels like you walked into a hidden little paradise like a secret garden with bold, joyful colors and spicy Latina energy all around. & can we talk about the bartender?! She was AMAZING. You could tell she genuinely loved what she does. She shared that she's been bartending for a long time, and it definitely shows because those drinks were perfection. ( I mean we watched her make cocktails for other guests and she can shake it) She was so sweet, happy, welcoming, and honestly made the whole experience even better. Chica just has that sexy, vibrant energy that makes you want to stay all day and order "just one more" mimosa per favore!

SO GOOD! Favorite spot of the day , hands down. What a great way to end our day trip to Vegas!…read more We started with two appetizers which were more on an amuse bouche. Small in size but packed with flavor. The Himachi? We could've eaten ten of them. Deeeelicious. The main course came out while I stepped away for a few minutes so I missed the fire show, but got to see it when another table got it later. The taste of the beef was absolutely amazing and loved the accrucements that accompanied it as well. We ended our meal with an almost missed Tres Leches. (Silly me didn't ask for the dessert menu, almost had grounds for being left in Las Vegas!). I'm so glad we circled back and got it, cause it was fan freakin tastic Service also was amazing - our server was so patient and kind

Between the music, crowd, and fire performances, it really feels like a full experience and not just dinner. I will say, when we first arrived the front dining room surrounded by candles was VERY warm. I asked if they could lower the AC because while I totally understand the ambiance they're going for, once everyone starts eating and drinking it gets hot fast. They were very accommodating and did lower it a bit, which we appreciated. I also loved that they start you off with pico de gallo and chips for the table, and when we asked for more they happily brought extra. Such a small thing but it made the experience feel really welcoming and generous. For food, we ordered the truffle quesadilla, street corn, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana. The truffle quesadilla was SO good and packed with flavor from the mushrooms, truffle oil, and cheese. The street corn was delicious too, and the Chicken Parm Mexicana was such a fun twist on a classic. Crispy chicken, flavorful sauce, and perfectly melted Chihuahua cheese. For drinks, I had the Toca Margarita and loved it. Super fresh and well balanced. Service was great throughout the night and the atmosphere made it such a fun place for our group dinner before the No Doubt concert at the Sphere. Would absolutely come back on another Vegas trip!!

I ordered the Cheese enchiladas as it's been years since ai had good enchiladas....ordered them with the Tinga chicken and they were amazing!!! The flavors were excellent, the cheese melted just right, and the chicken so flavorful and tender. I also ordered the Horchata hoping a praying it wasn't the watered down stuff you find everywhere....nope! It was creamy, thick but not too thick, cinnamon, rice, and I tasted a hint of a little something else...nutmeg.....surprised and blew my mind. I will most definitely be coming back here to order food again! So amazing!!!
