Through the glass garage door storefront, you are greeted by interesting light fixtures, eye- catching red chairs, large booths, rotating digital images of the delectable chocolate offerings, and flowing fountains of white, milk and dark chocolate. We entered and the smell of sweet confections filled the air. I left my husband at the counter to order and grabbed a table for us in the corner nearest to the garage door. We later discussed how, during the Summer, it will be so nice if/when they open that door up to the outside air. You order at the counter, and then they bring it out to your table. My husband returned with a big glass bottle of cold water (and some of the flimsiest plastic cups that I've ever held). The water was a nice, and necessary, touch. The dishes are rich! They are rich in the best way possible, though. The event provided a complimentary crepe with your choice of fruit, and a cookie skillet with ice cream. My husband couldn't decide on which fruit(s) to get, so the employee just told him that they'd hook it up for us. The crepe came out, and it was so beautiful...it was almost too pretty to eat! They provided us with an array of fruit to accompany it; bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and kiwi. The addition of the fruit really helped to cut through the richness of the chocolate. The crepe was the perfect, delicate vehicle for all of it! I probably ate about a 1/3 of it, and tried so save room for the cookie. I'm not a real "sweets" eater, but everything here just looks so good! The cookie skillet came out warm, gooey, and with its own generous drizzling of chocolate under a scoop of ice cream (& whipped cream if my memory serves me correctly).
