He listened, asked the right questions, and helped me narrow things down in a way that felt easy and natural. Because of his recommendation, I ended up grabbing not just socks and shirts, but a pair of pants for my wife that I'm genuinely confident she'll love. That kind of thoughtful help makes a difference. At checkout, Store Manager Liv was just as impressive, calm, patient, and professional. She made the final part of the purchase smooth and welcoming. It's clear this location values customer experience, not just sales. Danny, Liv, and the entire Lake Pleasant team made it feel easy to shop there. Five out of five without hesitation.

When we first got there the line wasn't too long and I was able to get a gift card back to exchange once I found something else, but while shopping it got busier and busier. It's definitely beck to school week. The store was organized and plenty of employees helping in all areas of the store. Service was much better than our last visit. We even left with three extra items because the sale was great. Unfortunately the pants we tried to exchange fit a bit off so we chose other things.

My daughter and I decided to visit Ross after a wonderful stop at Bath & Body Works. We grabbed a…read moreshopping cart and headed to the women's shoe Section decor section. As we were browsing, I couldn't help but notice two men walking back and forth through the aisles without picking up anything, just casually passing by multiple times. It didn't feel quite right, but I brushed it off since my brother-in-law buys shoes for my sister all the time, so I thought maybe they were just shopping. We continued through the store and headed toward the kids' shoes section. While my back was turned to the rest of the store, we picked out four pairs of sandals. While shopping, I casually spoke with another mom about the size stickers being missing-marked on the shoes, and she was thankful for the tip. Then, we moved on to the kids' clothing section. As we were looking through pants and shirts, I noticed two teenage girls in the teenage clothing section, not moving for at least 30 minutes. They were completely absorbed in their phones. Then, the two men I had seen earlier appeared again, this time walking toward the girls. The four of them started talking and looking at my daughter and me, all while staying glued to their phones and staring at us. I wasn't comfortable, so we quickly moved to a different section. By now, my gut feeling was telling me something wasn't right, so I placed my daughter back in the cart and headed to the front registers. I told the cashier that I was feeling uneasy and wasn't sure if they were stealing or causing some kind of issue, but I didn't feel safe with them staring at us. She reassured me that they had been watching the group and suspected them of stealing. We decided to head straight to the back of the store to look for more Easter decorations, but as I turned to look at my cart, I saw two additional men standing around, staring at their phones, not looking at the shoes or even trying anything on. One of them even yelled to someone else, though I couldn't hear what he said. My anxiety spiked. Within moments, one of the Ross employees--there were three of them total (only women no security/emergency button etc) approached me and said, "Ma'am, I want you to know you're being followed in the store, and we've been watching them awhile." At that point, I was shaken to the core and immediately decided to leave. As we approached checkout, all three employees gathered around me and my daughter. I called my husband, who was just minutes away. I was in such a state of panic that I couldn't think clearly. The employees kept saying this was the first time something like this had happened in the store, and I couldn't help but wonder why Ross didn't take more action (call police, 911, something to potentially save a life) I called my husband again, and the employees asked where he was. I told them he was on his way. Then, this elderly woman started approaching me, trying to calm things down, saying, "No, no, no, don't call the police. My son is autistic. He's weird, he's always weird I told him to quit acting stupid, then shifted the blame on the Ross employees saying - How dare you treat me this way, we did nothing." (I'm sorry you do not speak about your autistic child this way) The employees had to physically push her away and tell her to leave. They also mentioned that she refused to leave despite being asked several times. They had nothing in their cart nothing to check out so why did they show up how at checkout. I never saw this elderly lady in the store was she the look out?! The most disheartening part is the way Ross handled the situation. They claimed to be unaware of anything unusual going on, even though they had been watching the group for some time. They have a grievance and compliance line, but when I spoke with the assistant manager, she claimed to be the point of contact, which I now know wasn't true. Let this serve as a reminder to all parents: stay alert, trust your instincts, and always be aware of your surroundings

While checking out, we made a casual comment about how strict stadium policies have become. In response, the cashier began sharing strong personal opinions that were completely unrelated to our conversation. She stated that "kids who protested for terrorists and molesters were wrong" and went on to express her support for ICE and the military. Regardless of personal beliefs, these comments were inappropriate to bring up in a customer service setting. Employees represent the company while on the clock, and conversations involving political or highly sensitive topics can make customers uncomfortable. This interaction felt unprofessional and out of line for a retail environment. For all she knew, I could have been a corporate secret shopper evaluating the store experience. I believe this situation should be addressed appropriately, whether that means additional training, a formal write-up, or other corrective action to ensure professionalism is maintained. For reference, this occurred at approximately 12:30-1:00 PM at lane 8. I visit this location often, but this experience was disappointing and concerning.

This experience started out very poorly but ended on a much better note…read more I purchased a dress from the juniors department less than 30 days ago for a wedding. The dress was never worn, and when I returned it within Dillard's return window, Gabriella, the Business Manager of Juniors, immediately took an accusatory tone and said the dress was "dirty," refusing a refund and offering only store credit. She pointed out the area she believed was dirty, but neither my husband nor I could see what she was referring to. When I explained the dress had never been worn and was in the same condition as when I bought it, she insisted it would not have been sold that way. She later confirmed she had been the one who sold it to me. I left feeling frustrated and wrongly accused. Thankfully, Cher, a Brand Manager, noticed we were upset and stepped in. After hearing what happened, she involved store manager Daryl, who apologized, reviewed the situation, and immediately gave a full refund back to my card. Without Cher stepping in, this likely would not have been resolved. We were ready to leave and never return. Instead, her compassion and Daryl's professionalism completely turned things around. Cher and Daryl are the reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 1. Thank you both for making things right.

What happened to Vince Lombardi Time? Teresa is out on leave so I'm trying to deal with another associate, she was not as thorough and confident as Teresa. The Department Manager was also in the area and did not have the authority to make some small alterations on a custom made article I purchased and love before the Holidays, told me she needed to run it up the ladder??? I was very fortunate to have the Manufacture Representative in the Department, we discussed my concerns and she was very professional and recommended I go see an alterations/tailor to get some professional advice, which I did and I believe we have found a solution. Thanks Jessica! Miss Teresa in this department, I still love the store but a little leery on some of their policies on custom made orders.

I worked with Aaron Robinson and Jacob Scott and had a wonderful experience. They helped me select a suit within my price range (suit, vest and pants). We roamed around the suits and menswear section in Dillards for quite a while and didn't receive any help or find a suit that would fit him ourselves. There wasn't a soul in sight. We decided to leave and try Macy's or another big department store. We exited Dillard's into the mall. One of the first stores we passed caught my eye as I look towards the right. It said "Nick's Menswear" and it had suits in the window. I was assuming the prices will be higher than Dillard's which were substantially high, but I decided to give it a try. When my son and I walked in, we were greeted by Daniel, who explained all of the different options, and what he thought would be the biggest bang for our buck. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I explained my son was flying out the next day and to my surprise, he said the suit would be ready by that night if we so desired. I was expecting an exorbitant fee for this, but was again surprised that only a $25 rush fee. was added. We found a black suit with Daniel's help, and he proceeded to pin the suit for the tailor to take it. We were told to come back in an hour, and the suit would be ready. There are changing rooms in the back and the sales clerks help hang the suits when customers are exiting the dressing room. We discovered this after we returned once an hour had passed, and a new sales clerk helped my son try on his altered suits, and make sure that it had been hemmed to his specifications. I didn't catch this clerks name, but he was also great and gave such good service. The suit that we chose consisted of a blazer, a vest, and a pair of slacks. The alterations to the trouser were $20 for the hem, $25 for the trouser taper, $20 for the waste, and $30 to bring the sides in of the jackets. In total our bill was $403.92 for a complete suit, altered and hemmed within the hour, and ready for pick up. Let me just say the blazers alone at Dillard's were over $400 and that was not including alterations. On top of this, the service was exemplary. We really enjoyed Daniel's friendly banter and he was dressed to the nines in a very dapper suit with groomed beard and hair and masculine jewelry. One of the fun things about going into this clothing store was that all of the sales clerks were dressed up very nice like this. I will definitely return here first for any additional suits or menswear shopping that I have in the future. Recently, my son wore his suit out to a function in North Carolina and said that it fit great. Thank you, Nick's Menswear!
