The one and only place in this area that carries all your western wear needs. I love this store! They have everything from accessories, jeans, boots, belts and country dresses. Quality clothes and the staff are super friendly. I do need to give a shout out to one of the salespeople, she helped me find a pair of jeans. She unknowingly empowered me. I highly recommend you review your bank account after making a return at this store. I made a return and 3 days later, they charged the same amount back into my account. I called to let them know and 'the manager' said it happened all the time. She said for me to call my bank, there was nothing she can do. She said it was there system and it happened all the time but not to worry, I would get my money back - I just had to call my bank. Very inconvenient. I have disputed this with my bank and they couldn't believe this store would do this. If this had not been a significant $ amount - I may have not even noticed it. read more

I had ordered three pairs of boots off of Ariat's website and they weren't fitting me and I was tired of having my money tied up in returns when I needed riding boots ASAP. So I made the trek over to Boot Barn and I'm SO happy I did! Leslie helped me find the perfect pair of boots and she was incredibly patient and answered all my questions for me. I landed on a pair of beautiful Ariat boots that fit me perfectly. Prices are the same as Ariat's website - which I really appreciate. My husband and I along with many family members and I'm very disappointed because I bought my husband a pair of new work boots that destroyed his feet huge blisters very uncomfortable and they are $250 work boot. he had to take them off 30 minutes into wearing them because he got a huge blister and his foot was bleeding I called boot barn on katella los al because he threw away the receipt they said I could come in and exchange them or get a store credit so when I walked in today They told me no because I had said he worn them and they looked and saw a tiny scuff mark on them and said they were damaged as I looked at the boots on their shelves that kind of scuff marks even if somebody was trying them on but that wasn't the point they said I could return them over the phone they hurt his feet that last week when I called I couldn't make it there today because my mom was in the hospital lady manager which I wish I got her name was completely rude and said damaged and just walked away pretty much I asked her to please look up our phone number to see how much money we spend monthly at the store we buy all of our work clothes and work boots along with everything else we purchase there is absolutely unacceptable read more

The online experience was great, product offerings & ease of use of the website is great & far beyond store supplies. However, I've been to the Los Alamitos location a few times before & for this order once to see if boots were in stock & then at in store pick up, every time the staff were incredibly rude, had bad attitudes and in general were miserable to engage with if you could get them to engage. The energy is WHAT and a sigh, completely ignore you or they are bothered having to assist people. It's a real negative vibe & I won't ever enter that location again. The Orange & San Dimas locations are great alternatives if mean girls are not your thing. You are spending a lot of money, go out of your way to have a better experience. read more

Save the water cooler talk for the break room and put that energy into making sure a guest that looks at boots for 20 minutes gets asked if they want to try on the other boot. So I was down on my luck, I had less than 24 hours to find some logger boots and drive 500 miles north to start work the next morning. It was last minute call from my supervisor. I brought my butt into boot barn off of Karelia in Orange County. I couldn't find a logger boot my size anywhere. Garrett asked how I was doing and I told my situation and within 15 min this guy had me a pair of logger boots ready to go. He even put them on hold for me and gave me the address. This location sucks. No one ever asks if you need any help. I've been here several times and it's the same thing. To be more specific, I was in here for almost an hour one evening trying on boots etc, not once did someone ask if I needed help. So I got up and asked for help and this short gremlin of a woman (could of been a man considering the mustache) named Brianna, says, "oh sure I'll have someone come over." For what? She wasn't busy. She never sent anyone anyway and then 15 minutes prior to them closing she kept letting me know that they were closing. I told her i know what time they close and that her Friday night plans shouldn't be that important since she's built like a fatty pork chop. 24 hour fitness is open 365 days a year so I didn't understand her rush to leave work sAbsolutely disgusting customer service so I'll give it right back with this review. I have been a long time happy customer of this establishment. My family has always wore boots and when I moved here from Colorado I didn't know where to go. So I would wait till I went back home to go get new ropin boots or wranglers that fit right. Then one amazing day I saw the sign, Boot Barn!!!! I was in there for hours that first time. I was just back there for the first time since "The Virus" and brought a friend that had never been and he is from here. They have an amazing selection of pretty much everything I am drawn to. They are hiring right now for seasonal help. So if you are a hard worker, that would be a great place to work. Who knows. I might just apply to make some extra money and see all the new items come in. I love helping people pick out western culture, it can be a little confusing if like my friend you have not been around it. Bought my Ariat boots over a year ago and they're still holding up quite well. I wear them constantly and never have any problems. As far as the store goes, it's large and they have plenty of clothes, accessories and different types of boots. It was almost impossible to actually get someone to help me as I was a bit confused on what I was looking for. No worries, I had time to waste. Used the available foot size tool, mainly to figure out what letter width I needed. Girls up front of course try to sell you socks, boot cleaner, wood inserts, bla bla bla. Rejected it all because if I wanted it, I would have brought it up there myself. Can't really say anything negative minus the lack of service on the floor. It's a store though, everyone is bound to have good and bad experiences. I personally got great boots at a reasonable price, so I'm happy. read more

Myself and multiple customers went up asking questions sizes etc girls never left the front and acted as though we were interrupting their conversation: beyond frustrating to try and shop so I left. I'm not a typical customer for this store. It seems to be perfect if you are into all that Western and cowboy stuff but I still had a good time browsing! I will definitely stop here if I am ever in the need of some leather boots or cowboy hats as they had so many for men, women, even small sizes for kids! They were so cute! The clothes were super cute and fun. The prices were a little on the higher side but definitely affordable. There were a lot of clothes on the sale racks but I wasn't able to find anything I liked. They had some key chains so I chose one of them. It was Native American themed and very beautifully made. We opened up a rewards program and got 200 points just for signing up. They reps were pretty dismissive, complained to each other in front of me about customers leaving the boots in disarray and told me to go to Torrance. I used like this store location. I recently went here for the first time to get a new pair of work boots. The store is pretty large, and they have a really extensive selection of work boots, with lots of stock in the store. What I really liked was that they keep all the stock out in the open. No needing to ask a salesperson to get this size or that size. If you regularly wear work boots, or any kind of boots for that matter, you know that the size for your foot varies from one brand to another. So it was great to just keep trying on different brands, styles, and sizes until I found that perfect comfort zone. (Again, if you spend your work day in boots, you know how important a good fit and comfort is!) The staff working there were all nice and helpful. The guy who was helping me was super knowledgable about their products, and had some good suggestions to try different brands. Prices are very fair. Not cheap, but about the best prices I've found for good quality boots. This store also has a huge selection of cowboy boots and western style clothing. None of that is my particular thing, but I can appreciate that Boot Barn has a good selection and good quality western boots and clothes.
