Today was my 3rd time coming in to Boot Barn. The first two time was for my son to get an outfit for pictures for his sister's Quinceanera. Esme was super helpful. The second time we were help by a taller blonde lady. Same thing super helpful and nice. My dad like the boots and cowboy had I bought my son that he asked if I'd take him by. So a little over a month later I took my dad and again friendly greeting from everyone. My dad found work boots he was looking for. I ran into Esme who asked how Quinceanera planning was coming along. I showed her some pictures of they outfit my daughter wants me to wear. I felt bad because Ifelt like I was keeping her from help other people. But she help with pants, shirt and boots. I tried everything on and I liked it all. I'm very thankful for her help. Told her I'd be back for belt and cowboy hat and then I also saw a bucket. Like thanks. Also thanks to the manager. She assisted my parents during checkout. She was also very nice as was the older gentleman who showed me the belt buckles. Not sure why a lot of reviews are negative. But I've had great service so far leading up to Quince and plan on being back for more stuff. Thanks you to everyone at Boot Barn for they're help. read more

If you want good customer service, go to Boot Barn. Every time I run in there Kathy is always such a great help. Makes me feel welcome, She always has time to help me with my purchase. I went in here for a return and unfortunately like everyone else's reviews the customer service is extremely poor. They did not give me the impression that they are there to help you. The store itself is full of inventory, however the young girls at the counter are less than welcoming. The door has a note on it saying you have to check your bags at the front.Now to be fair the area of town it's in is not good and I would imagine the theft is high. That being said the girl that helped me was just flat out no help, she couldn't tell me how to use my gift card with the refund on it other than u have to call this number if u want to use it....thanks. Go somewhere else and actually give your money to people that are happy to have it. read more

Christine the manager was so helpful when I was in to buy work boots. She took the time to measure my feet, debate composite vs steel toe, and discuss the way I walk. She is extremely knowledgeable on her inventory and every time I've worked with her she gives me the same enjoyable experience. The place is great in terms of having a variety of work boots but the reason I gave it one star is because as soon as you walk in you are followed and being watched the whole time you are looking and trying on different boots and not just by any worker but Dan the assistant manager. I even had to say it loudly that it was true what other helpers had said about being hovered the whole time being the store and Dan said they were only doing that because he was training another employee (who was with him the whole time also and I didn't believe that she was new) All in all good variety but you feel really weird being watched the whole time. Dan if you are reading this stop hovering over customers just trying to look at different things in peace and stop pressuring them to hurry up just to make a sale. read more

My husband bought work boots here 2 months ago and the steal toe is already rubbing threw. We went in to see what they had to cover the leather with and the workers told us to bring the boots in to see what they could do (they had just allowed another customer to replace his year old boots that the seams were tearing). Is is about half hour drive for us but we came back same day. The workers then acted like it was my husbands fault and they could not help us. You can clearly see the line from the steal rubbing and cutting the leather but they were more focused on the little scrapes on other parts of the boot. read more

Started out in the store no one greeted me. Looking for boots about 15 mins about to leave because the boots I wanted were not in store. I was greeted by a nice employee who recommended I buy online and receive them in store. I did right away I had problems with paying online I called customer service they resolved the issue of taking my money. I got no email confirmation turns out they misspelled my email... 4 days later I called found my order was told it would be delivered in a day... I got conformation ups delivered and an employee xxx signed for it. I called They told me in store they didn't have my boots wait till Monday I went in and showed them that xxx signed for them. I was told by what I guess was the manager that she will have to figure it out the employee must have signed for them but they really didn't get delivered! She would keep my in the loop. I ask for a refund she said she couldn't refund something I didn't have. wow I said ok left. Called customer service they told me they had to investigate it and would refund my money until they conducted an investigation. WTF XXX is the employee who signed for my boots. Not my problem the store lost them. I told customer service I wanted to call my bank to resolve the issue of a refund then customer service said I would be banned from all boot barns if I did that! Haaa what a joke this company needs to review its policies or hire better help Phuck this place I'll buy my boots online for a cheaper deal. I guess in this case supporting a local business bit me in the ass. read more

How the West was lost 99% Chinese made boots and all of these country-western stars got clothing lines and it's all made in China or India the customer service is great the staff is great but it really makes me sad every time I come in here and can't find anything made in America They even try to fool you with name brands like American Worker which is all made in China I had called their corporate office and told them I can help them set up an American made clothing line with the name BOOT BARN but nobody ever returned my calls I wouldn't mind if the Chinese boots were $60 but they're $150-$170 I'd rather pay the extra $20 to buy American The thing is you really need to look at the labels some Justin's are made in China some in America some Chippawa made in China some made in America All I can say is read the labels and buy American don't be fooled ... All the clothes with country western stars names on it also made in china or india... dont get me wrong i love China and Chinese products .. but the prices are the same or more in price where is the savings for shipping our jobs overseas.. $70 shirts should be $10.. i posted this review to all boot barns and they were deleted cause yelp said i have to have a personal experiance with each store so im posting to each store ive checked into. read more

I have spent anywhere from 2k to 4K per year for the last few years buying gifts and work apparel for myself and employees. This last Christmas I spent over 2k in one visit which acquired me over $150 in their reward points program. When I went to redeem them they told me I did not have the points on my account, and that it didn't even show the purchase on my account even though I have the receipt in hand showing the points and purchase. Fast forward to about 4hrs of dealing with this over several months and numerous people in corporate who told me it was being taken care of, I have never received a call or the points. The last person I talk to in corporate named Kalee Davis told me "this is my job to deal with these things and I will for sure call you back within 24-48hrs" never called back. So I called her after 5 days and she had no recollection of our conversation, so she told me she would add another $30 of rewards to the points I never received. Of course still have not received the points. Normally I don't care about this stuff, but after the initial attempts to see what happened it turned into a mission to see what they were going to do. Now I know! The people in the store were great, but I will never purchase another product from this place! read more

So I call the store and ask for a very specific type of FR pants by Carhartt. The gentleman that answered the phone says oh ya we have them. So I repeat my self again and ask about the specific type of pants. Same reply from the man on the phone. So you guys can already guess the rest of the story. for being called boot barn they have a VERY SAD selection for smaller feet on men. I needed a size 8ee in boots and they had a selection of maybe NONE in that size but a few just 8 no wide. I asked the man working if they had them in another spot in the store he said no just by size so I guess the answer was NO. I did not like the feeling I received while in the store because he followed us around and just kept watching us kind of like in a tourist shop at the beach. They really never any effort to help at all just kept the ever watchful eye on us...I guess in case made break for it with boots in my size....no wait they had NONE..I use to buy all of my work boots here but after this last visit which will be my LAST visit I will drive out of the area like we have to do so much now days....bad selection and very bad customer service... read more

Whenever I've come here most of the employees have always been borderline rude to me, from following me around the store and asking if I had another item they claimed to have seen me looking at when I went to pay, to saying I don't look like I shop there regularly and they weren't going to offer me a rewards card. Unfortunately this is the only store that sells clothing for my job, other than ordering online. read more
