This was a great place to get my next pair of boots. The moment I walked in I was greeted at the door, and shown where the boots were in my sizes. The salesperson there was such a sweet lady. She was a big help, and she was attentive to my every need or suggestion. She was very well informed as to her products, and she was very helpful in selecting the boots that were the most comfortable for me. The layout of the store was wonderful, and items that I were intrested in were immediately accessible to me. Over all, it was a great experience. I wish I could have bought more than one pair of boots. I will definitely be back to the boot barn. read more

Bad customer service. Julie was rude. No eye contact and then she threw the shoes on the counter after she put them in the bag. We we're polite customers. We always say please and thank you. There wasn't any reason to take out her frustrations on us. Will not return. read more

Tried to give it a half star but Yelp wouldn't let me. I always go to Cavenders for my boots but decided to check out this place since they are closer. Bad service, no acknowledgement what so ever. At Cavenders I always get a "howdy" or "Hello" at the door. Won't be back and it was my first time here. read more

One of the worst customer experiences I have experienced in recent times. Went in to return a shirt...waited in line (only 2 or 3 people in front of me) over 20-25 minutes while untrained, unsupervised giggling clerks stared in confusion at the register screens pushing buttons. And thru this ordeal one young man at the adjacent counter attempted to make the register accept a return for OVER 20 minutes...while customers fumed (he was still fiddling with same customer as I left) and he looked around in confusion as if someone was magically going to appear and help him (at no time did he request assistance of other clerks or management). ALL of the waiting customers were rolling their eyes and talking to each other of poor service and lack of staff experience. No managers interceded, or no staff had the training necessary to have actually known to ask a manager for assistance. I am pretty forgiving in terms of lines and waiting, especially this time of year...but this was clearly gross undertraining of young clerks and a lack of proper supervision by managers (if there was even one present...my scan of store did not readily identify a manager)....shame on you Boot Barn... Wont be back...I will go to Cavender's for all future boot and western wear purchases...which is run like an actual business. And frankly, the boot selection at Boot Barn seemed to be lower priced, lower quality...less of a selection of nicer quality boots. read more

Wow, this store is terrible. No experienced help anywhere to be seen. Boot selection is terrible, and the hat selection is almost nonexistent. Pretty much jeans and shirts. This place replaced Sheplers but it won't last. read more

This place gets 2 stars for their clothing selection. They have a terrible selection of boots in my opinion. Not to mention they employ people that know nothing about boots, which tells me they know nothing about hats... I went in looking for a new pair of Anderson Beans and the sales lady said those don't sound familiar and then proceeded to offer me a pair of work boots then Doc Martin's... I walked out. read more

I bought a pair of Ariats during a recent $20 off sale. The stitching was defective and did a number on my leg. When I returned them the store did not have the same item in stock. The manager took the time to assist me in ordering the pair on line the spent the next 15 minutes insuring the discount was applied correctly. This is what I look for when considering customer service. He could just as easily have taken my return and credited me but when I expressed interest in keeping the same boot he came up with a way to get me that item at the price I paid and have it delivered to my house so I wouldn't have to drive back. All this and a professional attitude and appearance. Great job. read more

My experience here was good. I got my first pair of cowboy boots here and received my military discount too.

I went in sort of just shopping around this past Friday morning and I ended up not buying anything. I watched a customer take about 20 items into the dressing room and leave with only one. Then I watched a clerk go in behind her and groan the. Grab all the clothes roll her eyes and carry them to the front. I felt for her but she didn't need to react to irritated. Like you do work in retail... you should expect that... read more

I have been here twice in the past week and their customer service has surpassed Cavendars. I had rolled my ankle and didn't realize my boots no longer fit and was in a wedding the next day. I was trying on boots that were too large just so I could find a pair to fit my hurt foot. I was reluctantly about to spend over $200 on boots when I mentioned my foot to the employee. He suggested I bring my boots in and he would stretch them and to not spend the money on boots. They went out of their way to have them ready and stretch them as much as possible to be ready the next morning. I really appreciated their honesty. I will be sure and give them my business in the future! read more

The worst experience I've ever have in retail. I worked in retail as a sales specialist so I definitely have an idea of what great customer service is all about. Unfortunately, my experience with boot barn was really the WORST! I went in there with my 4 year old and my sister, all looking for boots. It wasnt till 30 minutes later an older female (in her 40's w/glasses slim) asked me if I need help with the worst attitude I politely said no thank you went about my buisness & tried on boots. As I was trying on boots she hovered over me for what seemed like an eternity asking questions with the worst attitude ever. I left so upset, I love the merchandise the other employees were great but that one lady was horrible she shouldn't be working in retail if that's how she's treating customers. I loved boot barn for its merchandise but next time will go somewhere else were. It almost felt like she treated me different because I'm Hispanic? I hate to even think that way but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the reason. I honestly hate to even admit that.... read more

Terrible customer service last Sunday. the young girls had no intention in assisting customers other than their friends who had stopped by. Very rude. read more

Awesome experience! Very organized and Dana who helped us at the counter was amazing!

Would give ZERO stars if I could. People at this location are so UNFRIENDLY and RUDE. Went in this evening to buy a pair of Twisted X shoes and I guess because I didn't come in looking to spend $400-500, I was looked at as unimportant. No one even acknowledged me when I walked in the door. No one even asked if I needed help as I was walking through the store. I have been known to spend $400-500 once or twice at this location, but that is beside the point. As I'm holding the shoes, ready to checkout, the cashier doesn't even bother to take them from me... She just scans them and leaves me holding them. She couldn't even move the other customers clothing out of the way so I could lay them on the counter. I literally had to ask if she wanted to put them in a bag or have me carry them out as they were! Really?! Just ridiculous. Might as well shut down this location because the people just SUCK. read more

Went here looking for some new boots with my wife. Had an associate ask if we needed any thing and stood by about ten feet away, we said we were just looking. Two minutes later she asked again, we said we were still looking. She would not leave by our side and just stood by and kept asking if we needed anything. When I found a pair of boots I liked that were small I asked if they had them in wide, she said "All the boot are on the shelf." I asked if they had any in the back, again "All the boots are out". Not very friendly. Acted as if I was going to try and steal a pair of boots, would not leave our aisle even though there were other customers in the other aisles without any associates asking if they needed help. After she said that all the boots were on the shelf she asked again if she could help us. Really... I ask for help and didn't get anything but the gruff "All the boots are on the shelf." read more
