I usually visit the CM in North Richland Hills, but today I ventured out into Fort Worth. Both are owned by the same people. We'll organized store, very clean, lots of selection. Large selection of cute boots! Great value on repurposed clothing, purses, and footwear. You might gind cheapet at garage sales, but youd have to visit a ton of garages to meet the quantity the CM carries. This store isn't as friendly as the one in NRH. I wasn't greeted and nobody spoke to me mt entire visit. This store is larger than the NRH, and is has a great selection. The purses are well organized across the side wall. Make sure your phone number is on file so you can reap frequent buyer rewards. That's a good value and provides savings. read more

I originally made a google review but im also coming here due to false claims from their response I need to be very clear that your statement is NOT accurate. When I walked into the store, the associate at the register did look at me, but she made no effort to greet me, even though she clearly had the opportunity to do so. At no point did another team member approach me to offer help or check in. The only assistance I received was when I asked for a fitting room no one initiated that interaction. To say someone came up to help me is simply FALSE I find it disappointing that my honest feedback is being minimized or misrepresented. If the goal is to improve customer service, it starts with acknowledging when something went wrong, not rewriting the experience. Take the accountability and improve! read more

Came in with an assortment of items to sell, when I checked in Madden got upset that I UPDATED my address as it was incorrect on my ID after moving, I asked if I needed to re-check in for this reason and she was visibly upset and the attitude instantly went from kindness to I was an inconvenience. The items they had in their store were truly laughable. $175 for a purse with FOOD stains and tears. Items that are from over 7 years ago from aerie. Shoes covered in dirt. But hey! A sequin Express romper from less than 10 months ago? Pass. Only thing I will say they were good at... quoting time. It took 30/45 mins as promised. read more

Had some cute things in the store! Went in about 15 minutes before closing. At 10 minutes before closing they told new people coming in that they closed in 10 minutes. I finished looking quickly and asked if I could try on the four things I had quickly and was told no because they were about to close. Sad I had to leave the things I found since I wasn't sure if they would actually fit. Wish they would have said the dressing rooms were closed when they were telling people they were about to close. read more

I had a great experience shopping here. There were lots of quality, like-new purses to sift through (Kate Spade, Coach, Tory Burch) as well as high-end flats and sandals. The clothing selection was great too: I hardly even looked, but a shirt hanging on the end of a rack caught my eye. I tried it on, and it's one of my new favorites! First, I love this store. I visit every time I'm in town to see my mom. And I purchase something every visit. I'm in my 40's and they have something for every age...lots of selection & friendly staff. The missing star is due to what I consider a less than desirable experience...I finally talk my mom into coming to shop here once I've convinced her it isn't Plato's Closet. We arrive close to 5pm. They close at 6pm. At 5:25 after selecting some items, mom is approached by a staff member telling her that the dressing rooms are closed. We are now confused and put our items back thinking that despite all the activity in the store we must be here after hours. We walk out and check the hours on the door. No, they close at 6. So mom goes back in and asks another employee who then says we close dressing rooms at 5:45 but we closed them early. I then hear another shopper asking if it's possible for her to please try on her dress since it is non returnable. Reluctantly the employee lets her after explaining to her that they close fitting rooms early so they can leave by 6. I worked in retail for years and never in those years did we ever tell anyone they couldn't try anything on until we were closing. Yes, we waited and yes we had to vacuum and reconcile the registers etc...after the gate went down and shoppers were out. If you want to be gone by 6, close the store at 5:30pm. It doesn't seem customer friendly to rush people out of your store. read more

Wow, this store is probably 3x the size of the North Richland Hills location. Some serious sifting is required here, but everything is well categorized and clearly labeled. I noticed a lot of Loft, Express, Banana Republic, Gap and the occasional Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger as far as name brands go in the jean section. Big kudos to Kirsten who made shopping here a breeze! She was helpful, friendly, and knew some regulars by name. As far as an employee goes, it seemed she was never sitting around doing nothing & always put the customer first. read more

This place does not want your high end fashions. What you will find here is lots of bad mom jeans, tacky jeans with rhinestones, old outdated Cabi sweaters, worn out dull kohls and JC Penny tops and just blah bad clothes. I'm not saying you can't find the occasional gem, it's possible but for me every experience with this place has been frustrating. Trip #1 I bought a dress from neiman Marcus wore it once to a wedding and had it dry cleaned. It was still sold on the website for $400 and they offered me $14 for it. Trip #2 I brought in a new stunning purple dress, the buyer gushed how gorgeous it was but said currently thy had enough purple clothes in th store already. (Seriously?) Trip #3 brought in stunning Joie top a year old, and a velvet Joie black blazer purchased 10 months ago for $398 that no longer fits me. They turned the items down saying they were wrong fashion choices for this area. However they did offer me $4 for a summery Ella Moss top and $4 for like new Sam Edelman sandals when summer is over in 3 weeks. Ladies who shop here you deserve better! You can dress current and up to date any size or any budget. Move on to other resell stores that cater to fashion and really want you to look your best. read more

This store is absolute joke. Depending on who you are, the age group, if sales attendance even look at your items for buy backs. Perhaps if your under the age of 30? The styles of clothing featured in the store were more like the Grungy style clothing. Sales attendance mentioned items have to be in style the last two years, again what a joke, apparently someone didn't get the memo with most if the clothes hanging on the racks. The sale attendence, and the caliber of the chain location is definitely gone down hill. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone looking for serious sales or service, especially ladies. read more

Finally, Yelp has added this location. I posted under the closest location previously, but had my hand slapped by Yelp for posting there. Sorry! I did clarify that I was posting for this location in Fort Worth, but Yelp didn't have them listed. Now they do, so here it is. Anyway, this place is too expensive for used clothing and they cram it onto the racks which makes it difficult to look for clothing. "More isn't always better, sometimes it's just more." The brand names of clothing isn't that impressive either. A lot of their stuff comes from Kohl's or Target. They do have a few nicer brands, but the pickings are scarce. I think you'd be better off going to Nordstrom's Rack or even Half-of-Half, for some new items. Sales at department stores are better than this. read more

I'm okay if my items don't get accepted. However I'm not okay for being ripped off as a consignee because the store policy is being interpreted at staff's discretion each time depending on who is checking in your items. Sometimes my items were accepted for half of the value and sometimes my new with tag items were accepted less than what you would in a garage sale. And the details were never properly communicated up front when you inquired to staffs about what your items would be accepted for. The answer you get is "almost half of the retail value". The owner lady seemed fair and will working with you but she isn't always there. I do believe there is a serious training issue creating confusions to the staff and misleading to the customers. There is also some arrogant and ignorant attitude from a couple of the store staffs towards consignees including a male supervisor. A long hair young girl was rather rude that she simply doesn't give a who about her mission to the store or customer let along caring about the consignees. She talked down to me like I was begging her to raise a dollar on the accepted clothing (new with tag) that she offered two bucks. And I know they will turn it around and mark it up a thousand times like what they did for $20 on same brand but not even close to the condition of my item. It's discouraging from bringing more quality items. In addition, if you found an item that has stains, they wouldn't discount it with an attitude "take it as is or leave it". And by the way, you wouldn't find those brand names in the store as what they advertised on their websites. Evidently, people don't bring those high end items in. No one likes to get ripped off after experiencing this store by testing the water! read more

Warning to those with kids: the music is not censored and I will not go here again if the music is not changed to either music only (no lyrics) or radio versions. It's very uncomfortable shopping with my kids while raunchy lyrics are blasted over the sound system. I have shopped at this location for over 2 years and have never had a bad experience. They have a wonderful selection on clothes, shoes, purses, and accessories and I love that their size selections really do cover all sizes! Their staff has always gone the extra mile to help me and others and they are the main reason why I prefer this location over others. My most recent experience at CM was two days ago and Des helped me find prices on some Kendra Scott earrings and the manager helped me with some Frye boots. It meant a lot that they didn't rush me, answered my questions, and I felt no pressure from them at all. I will be back again! read more

I've been in to this location a few times in the past, and the staff was never very friendly. However after being away for a year, I just came back and needed an outfit for a job interview. I decided to try this location again. The staff here now is incredible!! Multiple employees personally helped me pick out different items to try on for the interview and even gave me tips for my interview. They went above and beyond for me and it really made things less stressful for me, being a young college kid. I also really appreciate that when I take clothes in to sell, the staff always folds the clothes that they don't buy and put it back in my bag, instead of just throwing it all back in there. read more

I went there for the first time. My husband insisted in coming right along with our 3 kids. I came here to shop in peace and about 25 minutes into it I just wanted to return all items and just leave bc my children were running around like zoo animals. A worker there heard my frustration she came out with bubble machines for my kids and I was able to shop a little bit longer and get the items I needed. I love this Clothes Mentor location! It is clean and the staff is SUPER friendly! I have been losing a large amount of weight this past 9 months and it is a blessing to be able to buy trendy, clean almost new clothing at a super low price. I have even sold clothes to them twice myself. they have a great selection of clothing, handbags, shoes and jewelry too. I have scored some amazing deals on designer shoes, clothes and handbags at unbelievable prices! I almost don't want to mention it because I don't want to lose the opportunity to find those great designer deals myself! I am very thankful for a great place to shop! I really liked this store. I found quite a few items here that I thought looked practically new. Plato's Closet is right next store, but they do not have near as many clothes as this place.
