Best of all, the proceeds benefit local Goodwill Programs to help train and develop their clients for the workforce. The store has a nice layout so you can easily find the type of garment and the size. There are fitting rooms for you to try before you buy. I bought a pair of Uggs for my daughter and asked the agent checking us out if they could be returned, she said yes with the tags still attached and the receipt. We got home and my daughter found that the shade of grey on the Uggs wouldn't go with her clothes, so I called the store before I drove 40 minutes to check their hours that day. When I mentioned I was returning shoes the agent over the phone, Amanda, stated sharply I couldn't return the shoes, it's against store policy to return shoes or jewelry. Under any circumstances. However this is not posted in the store anywhere. When I told her another agent stated the opposite, she said the other agent must be new and she'll pass it along to management. She didn't ask what the agent looked like or when we were in so that seems like a blanket response. When I asked to speak with management, she stated no one was in but I could call or come in M-F and management would be in. It's not a big deal for a no shoe or jewelry return policy, but at least post it so people know. I wouldn't have bought my daughter the shoes if I had known. Now it's just $34 down the drain.

Out of curiosity, we brought the exact same bags to Plato's Closet beforehand. They offered us over $200 for everything. So clearly, the "condition" wasn't the issue.
