This was the 3rd Boot Barn that we visited while shopping for boots. The first one that we were greeted and acknowledged (Memorial City, 290 & Cypress) was the Cypress store. Donovan went above & beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. He definitely knows his stuff about boots & insoles! And love that we get more "bang for our buck" since they give Rodeo volunteers a discount with badge! Saving money is always nice but when it comes with great customer service it makes for a great shopping experience! We will definitely continue to shop this store more often! read more

I was shopping in store yesterday with my 6 year old son who is autistic and very curious. Most people blow him off because he has a speech delay and is some what hard to understand, not to mention is still learning social skills. Donovan took the time to not only understand my son, but answer every question with enthusiasm. I really appreciate that he was so friendly to my son and treated him with extra care and kindness. The most unwelcoming boot barn i've been to i was judged the second i walked in and followed around the store. i could hear the gossiping behind me to keep an eye out for me. i guess the way i was dressed or simply my race was enough for them to assume id be stealing i was so uncomfortable and hurt with the way i was treated around the store read more

Hourly staff were awesome, the Manager was horrible. Found a damaged hat, only one left on my size; she'd rather try to sale it for full price yo an unknowing than give a small discount. There are plenty other stores to go to, or even internet. I'll never step foot in this location again after seeing how the lady runs it. This Boot Barn was, hands-down, one of the most organized and helpful stores I've ever visited. The atmosphere was so positive!! I wasn't even looking for boots, but I was ready to buy some because I adored the staff. The employees are not only extraordinarily respectful and helpful, but they also go above and beyond. Came during the BBQ cookoff on a Saturday morning not long after they had opened needing new boots. I wasn't greeted at all. Looked up and down the boot aisle for about 10 minutes and still no one came to ask me if I needed help with anything. They don't have as big as a selection as Cavender's. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service and selection. As I was leaving, the lady selling carnival tickets at the door said "good-bye". I glanced at their kids boots as well but found the same ones on Amazon for a much better price. Won't be back, Cavender's has much better customer service and selection! read more

First time coming to this boot barn, and was in the store for over 30 minutes and no one bother and checked on us to see if we are doing okay. Cashier seemed racist. Was really friendly to the white guy walking around but as soon as we checking out that smile fade away and started giving us an attitude. Had a return on a pair of boots on 7/26/21 to your Cypress, Tx store that we had purchased at your Athens, Tx store on 7/22/21. We live in Cypress, Tx. Honestly didn't think we would get our money back since my husband wore them but only once to his sisters funeral and they rubbed a horrible blister on the top of his foot even with socks on. My husband is a disabled veteran and we are retired on a fixed income. My husband has neuropathy and this hugh blister caused severe pain in his legs as well. I knew he would never be able to wear the boots again. My husband and I went to see the store manager, Morgan May. What a sweetheart she was. He showed her his foot. The boots were still in like new condition. She apologized and said she would issue a credit back for us. She maintained a smile on her face and was so very sweet and courteous to us. Now that's a great manager!! My husband ended up buying a shirt because of her wonderful customer service. She deserves every praise and raise and in my opinion, Morgan May is Boot Barn!!! read more

Morgan at the cashier has such a bad attitude. Did a return and as my boyfriend went up to the cashier to tell her that she accidentally charged us twice for an item, she very rudely said "I can see that" instead of saying something along the lines of "Sorry about that, let me fix it". read more

Came in for boots for my son. Billy and Kasey were such a huge help. I was in the store for awhile deciding on the perfect pair and they BOTH asked several times how I was doing and helped me pick out the perfect ones. So I spend $170 on a pair of Ariat work boots and Boot Barn can't even provide me a box to put them in? They will, however provide a box for an extra $1.00. I'm done with this store. I personally shop for higher end boots and apparel, so not everything in this store appeals to me. However, they do have a small selection of Lucchese boots, along with some Cinch apparel for men. This store is well organized and visually appealing in comparison to Cavender's visual merchandising. The employees are very polite and helpful when needed. I have yet to make a purchase in the store, but I enjoy browsing and continue to stop in. read more

I must start by saying that this review is not written by someone who commonly gives low ratings. However, after the poor customer experience my family had this week at this location it is 1 star is being overly generous. My family recently purchased a Stetson hat for my dad's birthday from the online store and he was very excited about the gift. He is a frequent shopper at many Boot Barn locations across the Houston area and chose to go to the Cypress location (his least favorite) to get his hat shaped. When he arrived to the store, this negative experience started because he had to wait a very long time for someone to help him while the staff members blatantly overlooked him and greeted and offered service to other non-black customers. This wait is pretty consistent with eve time he has visited this location and and most of the time he has gone, they don't even help me so he leaves and goes to a different location. He continues to wait and finally asks for help and the staff member is very unfriendly, and told him that they didn't have anyone there to shape my hat. He has the lady to speak with a manager about offering the service. When the lady went to talk to the manager about possibly doing it she never came back to follow up. As mentioned before, this is not the first time that this negative experience has been experienced. Countless times we have visited this location, we have not received or have been blatantly denied service. We have even been told that we are not allowed to use reward points that always given to other customers and at other locations. It was very clear that the employees at the Cypress location do not value ALL customers and blatantly demonstrate racial and very unfair bias towards us as African-American customers. This behavior is unacceptable and highly disappointing to those of us who have been mistreated and devalued. My family and I highly unsatisfied customers and we will not be supporting this location and will be sure to tell our family friends not to as well. read more

I am not close to a boot barn and it was becoming a hassle to think I had to drive all the way out there to pick up a receipt I lost (I know my fault) not theirs. Jessica went out of her way, and found a way to send me the receipt so that my boyfriends company could reimburse him for FR jeans. I just went in to the store on HWY 290 in Cypress on a Sunday afternoon. I was looking to buy a wallet and to see the store, as I have owned stock in the company in the past but had never been in a Boot Barn before as I don't really buy Western Wear. I was really impressed. The store was bright and clean. They had very attractive merchandise. They had an incredible collection of boots. As I came in the store, I was immediately greeted by the staff who were dressed in western Wear. They couldn't have been more helpful. I don 't currently own their stock, but may buy it again in the fall. My rating is based on the attractiveness of the store and the helpful and engaged staff read more

I went into Boot Barn with only a few minutes to get my boots and get out. A guy met me at the door and I told him the size and width I needed. He took me right back to the section. I picked out my boots and went to pay. The girl at the front was really nice. She told me about the rewards card and signed me up for mine. I recommend this place. read more
