This place is essential run by children. The employees are typically standing around talking and cutting up while customers are shopping. None of the employees I encountered asked how I was doing, thanked me for coming in today, if I need any help finding anything...nothing! I have been here at another time and an employee sounded a air horn of some sort and the one adult employee that worked there, (worked because i didn't see him this last time i was there) yelled at them to grow up. The prices at Boot Barn on most items are outrageous. This place needs a desperate face lift or move locations. The parking lot is old and the outside of the building is not appealing. Boot selection is good and prices aren't AS outrageous for boots but for clothes...STUPID! read more

I absolutely loved the Arlington, Tx location I went to. The lady that help me was so nice and sweet and really helped me understand and be comfortable in my first pair of western boots. The location is huge inside and very clean. They sell real leather boots as well as exotic skin boots. Thy have the absolute best selections to choose from as well. They also do free boot stretching something I had never heard of and wasn't sure would work because of my calf size, but the girl helping me was very sure I would be happy with the boots once they were stretched and she wasn't lying. Walked in. Was never welcomed by the 5 employees standing by behind the cash register. 2 on their phones. One making origami. And 2 helping a customer. Spoke to the manager who said he was aware that all his employees were standing behind the register not being helpful and he was aware they were in their phone. We took our business to cavenders. Purchased 300$ boots brand new waited patiently in line and once we were rang up at the cash register the young man named Brian and a colleague were BAGGING my brand new boots you heard me BAGGING once I spoke up and asked if he could put my boots in a box both him and the colleague huffed and said I had to purchase a gift box that was $1.08 the price wasn't the problem it's the fact that I had to pay for a BOX for my new boots that were 300$. Walked in and wasn't greeted by any employee even though there were multiple near the front. Went to the boot section and immediately found the boots I wanted to purchase went to one associate and asked if they could help me they said they would send someone over, waited 15 minutes and no one came. I went to find another associate and they called someone over again, waited 15 more minutes and no one ever came so I left and went to Cavender's. I understand if the store is busy but there were barely any customers in there. I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for help and beg to spend my money at a store. read more

I went to Boot Barn at Glade Park and they didn't have the boot that I wanted (I showed pic of Corrals/glitter inlay from Boot Barn website.) Clerk at Glade Park suggested I try the Arlington store. Walking into the Arlington store, I was greeted by ladies at the cashier station. They pointed to the women's boot section when I told them that I knew what I was looking for. I SWEAR TO YOU I DIDN'T SEE OR HEAR FROM ANOTHER EMPLOYEE DURING MY ENTIRE 20+ MINUTE VISIT in the boot section. I tried on at least 5-6 pairs of boots before I found the ones I wanted in my size and even took pictures to send a friend that was giving her opinion on each pair. I was greeted only when I walked back towards the cashier to get the 2nd boot. I asked for a new pair of boots because I didn't want to buy the floor model boot. They said they only keep one pair of each size of each boot in the store so I'd have to order online or buy the floor model boot (ummm, what? That makes no sense at all, but ok.) Another associate grabbed the 2nd boot and said that she had to accompany me in the store while I tried on the 2nd boot. Is theft at this location THAT bad? Do people literally put new boots on and dash out of the store? After the associate fumbled my attempt to buy a vest for my husband (she showed me outerwear instead then ghosted me) I was carded at the register when using my AMEX. I won't be going back to Boot Barn. EVER. I should have walked out and ordered online when they ignored me in the store. I feel like I spend money with a shitty company whose employees don't care about customers. Oh... and they didn't have a box for my $260 (pre/tax) boots. WTH? Why is everything RIDICULOUSLY expensive? A dollar store quality gun is $13!? And don't get me started on the clothes. I also can never find my sons size. All their children's clothes are either for babies and little toddlers or for bigger kids. There is no in between for children that are about 4 years old. They didn't have what I was looking for in store, only online, and that was in inconvenience. Also customer service needs some work. Nobody greets, nobody asks if I need help, I have to go track someone down. My biggest complaint though is that it is EXPENSIVE. read more

This Cavender is a new store and as it's not as big as the other boot cities I've been to but they do have the goods and the goods is what I'm looking for. My only negative part of the review is that they only carry a small hand full boot makers and that can be a downer since they didn't carry the brand I like most but it's ok cuz I found me a real puuurrrddy pair of boots to call my own. They carry tons of clothes and the hat barn is quite helpful. Another plus is there is always someone there to help and there's no question to dumb for them to answer! read more

Came to this boot barn Bc they had offered me a credit card. Well, I lost it and the store claimed that I could make a transaction with the paper copy. For whatever reason they couldn't Bc obviously, the "manager" Job, was his name..didn't know what to do. So he handed me a pamphlet and said call this number. I said, For what? He said Bc ur card isn't working. I asked again if he was the manager, he said yes. So I asked him if he knew how to fix it? He stated, no. So, why would you have a manager, that clearly doesn't know what to do, or even one that doesn't care for customer service?? Horrible interpersonal skills for "Job" at the Boot Barn in Arlington!!
