I do agree, the mall was horribly lit and felt very grungy but thankfully I didn't stay too late inside. The staff here at the various shops are nice. The layout of the mall seems kind of bizarre. When I pressed her and said, I asked to SPEAK to the manager, she told me that the manager said she didn't have time to speak with me. Period. I told her I thought that was incredibly rude and that a manager should never respond that way, but she told me the manager was very busy and on her way to leave the store at the time I asked and she simply didn't have time to talk to me. While I understand she may not give me a discount, I have NEVER simply been refused service like this. I am a Black woman, but my money spends green like anyone else and I cannot believe they treated me this way.
