Oh yes. This is a great Pilates place. There are a couple of parking spots in front of the studio and street parking of course. I loved the music, intensity, and flow of the class. It was definitely hard and challenging but that's what makes it so great. Loved the reformer class with Kemi. She's great at adjustments and encouraging the class individually and as a whole. Check in was super easy. There's an iPad on the wall and you just check in independently and pick out the reformer you want. Theres a nice big mirror the spans an entire wall. Lots of core strength and a couple of cubbies to place your things. Grip socks are not required but I wore them because safety first. Lots of pulses. Can't wait to go again and feel the burn and muscles spasm. read more

She has a no-nonsense approach to pilates, her cues are on point, and her classes are challenging but never compromising safety. I highly recommend you try it out! read more

This review is long overdue as I've been coming here for years now. I initially discovered this place through class pass, back in the day when I was physically challenged and working out was a chore to me. I had never done pilates, or heard of a reformer machine, so finishing my first class was a big accomplishment to me. As a beginner, yes you will feel overwhelmed. But the instructors give detailed instructions and each workout is geared to every level (beginners, intermediate, and advanced). There are plenty of mirrors and I find everyone is focused on their own form so there is no need to feel self conscious. The studio has 14 reformer machines and it is always kept clean. There is one bathroom and a water refill station, as well as little cubbies you can store your stuff in. Each instructor has their own distinct styles and music choices so I suggest trying out different ones. I've never had a class/instructor there I didn't enjoy. The only gripe of this location is parking. There is a small, shared private lot and so parking is hard to come by during peak times (particularly the weekends), so I suggest coming early during those times. There is also free street parking on that block as well. Overall, I love Boost for their challenging classes that burn in the best way and I always come out feeling strong. read more

I've tried a plethora of studios and they are all a wild mix of ridiculously challenging, or way too... spiritual? Boost offers challenging workouts that leave me absolutely sore but not so difficult that they become discouraging or unattainable. The cost is also definitely fair. I like to do the monthly packages, then if I want to book any additional classes, they come at the prorated rate of my package! The late policy is a little extreme, you have to cancel many hours ahead if you want to retain the class. The no-show fee is $10. Most of the time though if you text the number, they're very flexible about canceling your class and returning it to you. I used to really enjoy Boost, but I've been a bit disappointed with some of the more recent classes and instructors. I recently took a class with Jessica--I'm not sure if she's new--but the instruction was lacking. She didn't really explain or demonstrate the moves clearly (or at all), which left most of the group confused. Instead, there was a lot of generic encouragement like "you're killing it," even when it was clear people were struggling to follow. It might be helpful for her to receive some additional training on class structure and how to effectively guide participants through the workout versus just walking around for a pep talk. read more

I have been working-out at Boost for years now. They have a very good level of customer service. Never a disappointment, always go above and beyond if you have any issues. Most of their instructors are exceptional. I can't attest to all of them but I am a fan of Juliana and Kat. Occasionally i step out to experience other instructors. If you've ever been interested in taking a pilates class, I highly recommend trying out Boost. They are very beginner friendly while still offering advanced options for those who are more experienced. I used to do pilates years ago, and just picked back up on it mid this year. I was nervous as I haven't been on a reformer in years so it felt brand new to me. On your first class with Boost, you go 10 minutes early and they give you a tour and teach you about the reformer. I've taken different instructors and everyone has been great with energy/motivation while helping on form if needed. Pilates is a low impact exercise but boyyyyy will you feel it. You will shake and feel the burn. I leave class feeling like I'm going to fall over, but that just shows how great of a workout you had. The studio is always clean and organized. I like the abundance of mirrors so you can really see your form and always see the instructor. I will say parking at the River Oaks location is terrible so come early to find a spot! read more

Had a great first experience at Boost pilates studio. Gracie instructed the class and she was very energetic and motivating! She also provided constructive feedback on my form, which I always appreciate. The workout incorporated muscle groups from the whole body, but we focused on inner thighs. My legs are definitely nice and sore today. It was 50 minutes of intense work but Gracie kept suggesting modifications to make it harder or to ease up if it was too much. She did a great job tailoring it for all levels. I really enjoyed working through the whole body and the playlist through the whole class was a great mix of pop and hip hop that kept me energized and feeling good. The studio itself was well organized, clean and a nice open, light space. One whole wall is covered in mirrors, so you can watch your form and see the instructor no matter where you are. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'll definitely be coming back for another class! read more

Boost Pilates is hands down THE best studio I've been to in Houston! The place is clean and simple, has all the equipment you need, filtered water fountain and a place to put your stuff. All the instructors are great.. I've never had a bad class! It's challenging but not impossible. The instructors walk around the class regularly to make sure everyone is doing the correct exercise (this alone puts this studio ahead of its competitors!). One of the biggest attractions to this place is that the class sizes are small. The limited number of reformers allows for a more personal experience. They also have classes almost every hour so you're sure to be able to get your workout in. Came here through ClassPass. Had a very effective class on their allegro machine and really felt it in my hamstrings, core, and shoulders/arms the next 2d. We used a small weighted ball as a prop, and that helped make the workout a lot harder (and more effective). There were lots of other "toys" in the box too. Instructor was helpful and walked me thru the machine beforehand. It was a very calm and encouraging environment. I've been going to Boost for a few months now and love it! I have a few regular instructors I go to but have also taken from other and have never had a bad class! There is a great variety of time all throughout the day which also for so much flexibility! The classes are challenging but not impossible. The instructors are all knowledgeable and are allowed to individualize their routines - which is nice because you aren't doing the same repetitive class for months at a time! I was on ClassPass for a while trying to find studios I would like and kept coming back to Boost so often I dropped ClassPass in favor of a monthly autopay membership. I enjoy their reformers, particularly the ones at the River Oaks and West U location, I like the interiors and the times offered on their schedule. I appreciate I can go to any studio. At times parking can get difficult at the River Oaks location, but the instructors are understanding and being slightly late doesn't materially change that you're going to get a good workout. The instructors are excellent. Each one brings a different routine and challenge level. Just because one instructor uses lighter spring levels doesn't mean the workout will be easy. Sometimes those are the most difficult. I love coming to Boost for a good workout. I have taken classes with Gracie & Isabella and they make you sweat your butt off! I have taken pilates before but Boost is a great addition to the Pilates in Houston with their chic modern interior and white allegro machines. The instructors are motivating and overall can't get any better than this. Management is very flexible and very understanding with the busy work schedule - and if you cannot make it just call and plead for forgiveness and credit shall be granted. I started going to Boost at the beginning of this year (RO and Heights locations) and had never tried reformer Pilates before. I am a fitness junkie and love workout classes and this one was definitely a challenge! The instructors take the time each class to walk you through the movements and show you the correct form so you don't injure yourself and target the right muscles.
