My dad had been bragging about this place for a year or two. We finally happened to be in area when I was in town. It's a nice place. I love the barn theme with the bedlam decorations. We had several burgers at our table. My son had the pizza burger. Which was certainly unique and he said it was great. My dad had a Texas themed burger with guacamole. He said it was good. I had the bacon peanut burger with grilled jalepenos and grilled onions. It was good. I'd prob ask for more peanut butter next time because the jalepenos and onions overwhelmed the PB taste. But that was my fault for adding them. I had tater tots and they seemed better than the fries. We split a shake it was good. They brought us a few cups to split it and I love that their straws are large thick openings. The service was great. read more

Neat set up with cool sports memorabilia decorating the place. I tried their peanut butter burger, which was surprisingly good. The meat was juicy and my burger was dripping. Good stuff. I was recommended to go here from a few people in Duncan and Frederick. It was worth the trip. Fries and drinks are extra. read more

Bacon double cheeseburger here is pretty good - patties cooked until well done but still juicy, and it could have used more cheese. But biggest issue was the beef may be fresh, but didn't have much flavor or seasoning. Tater tots were on point and crispy but badly needed salt, and none was on our table. They do cook everything fresh to order so don't expect it fast. Family owned, service was fantastic, run by the most charming locals. Restaurant is one big open room with a sports theme and OSU & OU memorabilia all over. Tables and floor clean. I do enjoy a small town burger joint where everybody knows your name and treats you like part of the family. And it's a bit of a quirky place. We watched a server fight a stuck door on a school locker being used for storage, all for a bag of tortillas..Or the cooks lugging heaping armfuls of bagged pattied beef out of the kitchen to be put away for the night. Food we tried may have only been a 3, but the charming people and service upped it to a 4. Next time we hope to try their weekend catfish fry (it was sold out). read more

So, I tried boompas this afternoon. I had the fire burger with added bacon. The burger had grilled jalapenos pepper jack cheese and buffalo wing sauce. In hindsight that was a mistake for my first time because with that buffalo sauce you can't really taste anything else but it. I did get a couple of bites of burger that didn't have some sauce on it that tasted pretty good. The burger was cooked to order and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy outside and tender inside. The service was fast and friendly and the decor had a very small diner feel to it. I'm not out in Elgin very often but if I am I will definitely try it again and update my review accordingly. read more

Solid locally owned and operated burger joint. Friendly staff and owner we hadn't ate here in awhile. When it first opened it was pretty disorganized. Tonight we decided to give them another chance. Son had double cheeseburger it was huge ! I had burger with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. Wife had cheeseburger. The fries and tots were cooked perfect very crispy. This place has some awesome burgers! An employee who use to work here had recommended I try this place with my family. We loved it! Even my mom who was visiting loved the burgers with a twist. Stopped by this restaurant coming home from a fishing trip to Lake Ellsworth. From the parking lot with the work trucks and the local police department eating there I knew we probably made a good choice. The restaurant is very open and tables are not on top of each other. The restaurant is super clean as are the restrooms. My daughter had The Onion Burger with regular fries and I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. The Burger patties are huge so be careful how you order. Condiments are brought to your table in clean squeeze bottles including mayonnaise which is highly highly unusual in today's world. Extra creditfor the mayo!. The burgers fantastic and the chili cheese fries were perfect for the side. Their French fries are classic cut with just salt. The next time I'm in the area I will definitely stop by this great hole in the wall Burger joint. read more

Best little town burger place in Southwest Oklahoma. Heck, probably best burger spot in Oklahoma in my opinion. Food is great, devent variety of different burgers as well as a few other options such as chicken, hotdogs and salads. They also have a quesadilla on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if you want it spicy, tell them to add the ghost pepper cheese! Staff is always super friendly and the owners are usually buzzing around the place visiting with the customers.
