The place is clean and nicely decorated. We did sit at a table by the door n a freezing cold day so I am glad I had my jacket on my lap. Our server was so nice and checked back with us often. We both had sandwiches... I had a Club and he had A Cuban. The sandwiches came with the lost delicious French fries! Their homemade seasoning they used was peppery goodness!! I personally found it hard to believe that there would be a 4-star restaurant in little Elgin, Oklahoma. But Elgin is growing up. I ordered a chicken fried steak dinner. A tiny but tasty salad was first brought out. I would have preferred the salad to be twice as large. It was very good but way too small. Then the chicken fried steak & potatoes came out. The serving size was very big & the chicken fried steak was delicious. My only complaint is that there were a couple of questionable parts in the steak that were stretchy & excessively chewy, but not edible. The potatoes were delicious. Our waitress was super friendly, and the outside seating area where we were was very nice. Overall, I was unimpressed with the food. If I didn't have celiac disease I might be more eager to view the extensive beer menu. It's nice to have something other than a wine slushie though when you can't drink beer, but there wasn't much else available. If you're ordering gluten free the menu is marked "G" for gluten-free. However, some of the other items seem to be gluten free minus simple additions like croutons. Overall the atmosphere and the friendly staff are the only reason I didn't give lower than 3 stars. If I were rating the food quality alone I'd give it 2/5 stars at the absolute maximum. Please keep in mind I'm coming from a gluten-free perspective, so if you can try the other food maybe you'll have a better experience. The charcuterie board and wings were uninspiring. I don't do a lot of reviews but had to in this case. We stopped here because their special was supposed to be the best Southern chicken, NOT! The chicken was over cooked and I suspect cooked in the same grease as the fried pickles. The mashed potatoes had a strong vinegar taste and we were told it was only two days old so it was ok. Don't waste your time here if you're looking for good food. BTW, we did give constructive feedback but no one from management spoke with us or offered to make things right. They had a decent beer, Black Out Drive that was sold in small glass, 2 drink maximum because it was high point. So, we tried out this new brewery in Elgin. Service was great. Place was nice and small. The pepperoni pizza as good as well as the Italian Melt. I asked for a little bit of ranch dressing for dipping into to give the sandwich a kick of flavor. Next time I will try Italian dressing to dip into... however, this is my preference... the sandwich is good as is. They had Pepsi drinks by the can. Plenty of TVs to watch so you can drink, eat, and enjoy watching a game or few. Definitely a place to try but limited in space when it comes to large parties... however, when the weather cools down a lot, the outside sitting area will be nice. read more

Stopped by for to-go beer on my way out of Lawton. The space was fun and hopin'! Want to stop by for food sometime. I got a crowler 4 pack - two sours, fest beer and an IPA. The bar tenders were super friendly! The fest beer wasn't sealed properly, so it was flat by the time I drank it. Sad because it would have been a super tasty fest beer! Lasagna was ordered by 4 of us and only one of us was somewhat okay with it. We got the last pieces available and they were dry and no sauce. The salads are so small. Our burger was supposed to be meat and cheese only for our child yet came with caramelized onions and bacon. Neither of the kids enjoyed their meal at all. I was very unhappy with mine also. I also ordered the peach Bellini wine and received half a glass for $10. Way over priced. The only thing each of us seemed satisfied with was the charcuterie board which was delicious! The boot strap beer was on point too. We waited for our waitress to return after our meal was served and she never did. All of our drinks were empty and never refilled the entire meal. No one even approached the table to verify if our meal was okay or if we needed refills. We kept trying to get anyone's attention but no one was available. Doubtful we will be back. read more

Just stop by to have lunch with my wife, great food and atmosphere. We both had the Okie burger and fries delicious. Very friendly servers.
