Out driving and saw Ann's on Google Maps and decided to stop after reading good reviews. The staff was very friendly and attentive right away. We sat at a booth on the side and ordered two ice teas to start. After looking over the menu I ordered a medium bullseye burger with tots and my wife ordered a small mushroom Swiss with curly fries. Both burgers were good with no issues. We finished the meal with pie from the case. Good food, great staff, and nice place to stop while out on a road trip. read more

Stopped by to fuel up before we commenced the long drive back home. Even though it was a bit early on a Sunday, they had stopped serving breakfast. Looks and feels like any other diner/cafe in small town America. Large serving sizes. Service was so-so. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were out of one of the appetizers and forgot to add the tomato to the grilled cheese sandwich. Salad was OK... Multiple orders to-go are either wrong OR cold!! Just placed an order for 2 burgers & 1 fry to-go. I placed my phone order by 6:22 PM & was told 10 minutes will be ready. I showed up in 10 minutes to be given a pager & was told food not ready & will be another 5 to 10 minutes & I could wait in my car if I wanted. At 6:50 I went back in & asked if my food was ready. He apologized & said it will be ready in just a minute. He brought my sack food to me & I went in my car to observe the food, all of It was room temperature!! BUT they got the order right. This is the only restaurant out where we live (in the country). If they were in town with competition & giving service as sloppy as this, they would be out of business! read more

Wow, this place is such a small town southern vibe. When you pull up, it's off a small Oklahoma road with a little sign on the road but the building looks just like a random building with no sign on the actual building. However, you'll know you're in the right place cause it's packed and you'll know why it's packed when you're treated amazing with a great wait staff and eat their food. First off, their menu is super simple, which I love. Good ole simple country cooking. I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over medium, bacon, and home fries. Their home fries are amazing, they're the ones cut in squares and fried, my favorite. They don't season or salt them but they taste good in the gravy. The gravy is super light with some sausage chunks in it. Definitely need to ask for more but no charge. The biscuits are HUGE! I could barely eat one full one. My boyfriend had the same breakfast but with sugar waffles instead. They were delicious with whipped cream and strawberries. The waffles were super small but delicious and you get two with a whole breakfast. The wait staff is also super sweet and very attentive. We haven't been back to this area in many years and this was our first trip to Ann's since they renovated. The new space is beautiful! So clean and comfortable, and AC working well on a 102 degree day too! The service is as friendly as ever, portions of food are gigantic, and prices still the cheapest around. We are so happy to see Ann's still rocking- and she's still making those delicious pies! We had chicken fried steak which comes with 3 sides and the biggest most delicious yeast rolls I've ever seen! The side salad that came with alone was a meal. Still an excellent stop for a wonderful meal in a great new space! Long live Ann's! read more

The service was excellent. The woman was serving a large party in another room and still took care of us. The ambiance was okay. Open seating, seats were not really comfortable. The food was average as well. We both had chicken fried steak but were not impressed. My wife does much better. Her gravy is far better. But the restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and the food okay. We have heard wonderful reviews from our friends so take our words with a grain of salt. We went here mid march to grab breakfast with our family and youngest son who just finished basic training. This was his first time off base since late Dec. This was our first stop when we picked him up for family day. Food and atmosphere were wonderful. Our server was Terri and she couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. She congratulated our son on his accomplishment and offered encouraging words. Every server in the restaurant was always smiling and friendly. My husband and I met our adult son and three grandchildren. We ate several items and everything was great from the wait staff to our meals. I went to pay for our meals without looking at the receipt the guys left a $20 tip. When I got home I looked at the receipt for my coupon app. I then realized we had been charged a 20% gratuity of $11.33, Wow! We had not had gratuity added at Ann's before. I called the restaurant and was told gratuity is with a party of five or more. News to us. I did not notice a note about gratuity nor did the waitress mention it. We would not have tipped so much, Perhaps a little more added put not close to 50%. Lesson learned. We typically are generous tippers but when gratuity is added at a local family restaurant we have frequented for years, we will pay what is on the receipt. read more

Selected this restaurant specifically because they have buffalo burgers on the menu; was saddened to learn that they were sold out!! Terry very graciously weathered my light-hearted grievance and steered me toward fried catfish which was wonderful. My friend opted for frog legs which he said were equally good. We both left with some of our meal in to-go boxes as well as peach and pecan cobbbler. I'm planning to go back but will call ahead to confirm they have buffalo meat on hand!! read more

Meera has a new contender for when I go down to the Witchita mountains. Ann's is so good! The portions are huge. I needed an excuse to stop for pie, and it was relatively early in the morning. So i ordered a sausage biscuit. It was huge. The biscuit was perfect and clearly homemade. I got a piece of lemon meringue and chocolate coconut cream pie. I will definitely be stopping by again. It seems this place is busy for the area, including people around the lake. We had to wait a about a minute to get a table cleaned off, no biggie. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders. Few minutes later we placed our food orders. Our waitress never came back to refill our drinks, had to get up and let her know, also about my salad which never came. Our food came within reasonable time, it was hot, but wasn't too good. Wife had the Indian taco which wasn't good, but okay. Me and my friend had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and brown gravy, it was okay, gravy was good, mashed potatoes tasted instant, green beans was old style thick. My friends Mac & cheese was awful, he didn't eat it. His wife had a hamburger patty it was cooked to her liking, again slow service, especially for a small diner. Visited on a Saturday around 6 pm. Ordered the chicken friend steak and couldn't pass up on the cheese cake! Despite being packed, all of the team working was super friendly. Not very many places to eat in this area, so would recommend visiting Ann's Country Kitchen. As an added note, if it wasn't for GPS we wouldn't of known this place was here.
