Stop by and get your retro feel back into the past with the setting and music! The gals that operate the restaurant do a fantastic job. They have a great standing in taking care of their customers. Any day is a good day to stop in and get a burger basket. My daughter enjoys the fried mushrooms with ranch dressing/dip. They are known for their hospitality and good food. They do have a wide menu of food choices,, take your time while looking. I recommend to try a Reuben sandwich. You don't have to pack on calories while you're here, they do have salads. You don't have to eat it all at once. You can order to go, or take the rest home with you. read more

Great double smash burger. Crispy edges and done in the middle/ juicy and perfect. Soft bun and all the fixings made this one of my faves. Also one of us had a patty melt- old time goodness. Great little diner off the highway. Small seating area so you may need to wait and will be cozy with your neighbors. Sunday breakfast was very good. Western omelette. Coffee is well done. Just about every time I go in, the ladies are smiling and either telling someone BY NAME, thank you for your business, if they don't hug them on their way out! Food is always good, service is exceptional. Restaurants typically do not stay open for a long time, but Boomarangs Diner has staying power and I cannot help but attribute it to the staff, in particular the waitresses. If you want to fill up your belly, you can go pretty much anywhere, but if you want to fill up your belly, and as an added bonus leave feeling like your heart got a little bit of love too, you go to Boomarangs Diner Westside. Mondays are 1/2 burgers which is a great deal. My sole suggestion is the buns can sometimes be flat and saggy and if they could toast the buns, I think it'd make the burgers significantly better. I'll bring this up next time to them in person as I'm sure if I asked to toast the buns they would. read more

They have a great selection for diner food. The rootbeer float and milkshakes though, OMG! YUM! Great staff, and perfect place to pick up your beverage of choice before you go on a date night with the better half to play Pokémon Go for a few hours. read more

Honestly cone on I don't know how this establishment has almost 4 1/2 stars! The fries I ordered the night before last was terrible! Tasteless, overcooked, slightly burnt and disgusting! I should've saved my $3.86 and followed y first mind and went for Wendy's! ℹ waited in the drive thru twenty minutes only to receive frozen fries cooked in day old grease! I wouldn't want to try any of their other food choices after this experience!! read more

Two eggs, a couple of sausage patties, hash browns, biscuit and gravy. Their chicken fried steak is supposed to be one of their signature meals. The service was prompt and the staff was down home people. If I lived in Muskogee, this is where I would stop for breakfast on the way to work......drive by McDonald's! Fantastic service and food. Barb got the burger and fries, I got one of the best hot Reuben sandwich, the best I have had except in Germany and pretty dadgum close. Also the onion rings were great. The breakfast is outstanding. My favorite is the Reuben sandwich. Their fried catfish is by far the best in town. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I couldn't ask for a better "to go to" place. You can't leave without having fried pickles. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out on good food. read more

There are several Boom a Rangs around Eastern Oklahoma and this one is really good. It's not fancy, very small but the food is good old fashioned diner style. The fried catfish sandwich is divine- huge filet and very lightly breaded and crisp. The chicken fried steak is also huge and well prepared. Burgers are all good and there is always a daily special. Cole slaw could be better and they don't offer blue cheese salad dressing for some reason. Overall though an excellent lunch choice. read more
