Love me some Boomarang! Went for all-you-can-eat fish on Friday and it was just great. I have not had a single bad experience at Boomarang.

Table of 4 on a Tuesday morning at 930. You seat yourself, which is fine however it took 10 minutes for a server to notice us. Maybe 6 other people in the restaurant other than us. The waitresses were not friendly. We felt almost like we inconvenienced them by coming to eat. Maybe its the new low standard of customer service nowadays but this was by far a very poor performance. I used to wait tables when I was younger. Smiling, being somewhat nice, greeting customers & being attentive is key. These points were all not delivered. Not coming back. read more

My wife and I tried this plase sunday and our food was disgusting. I dont know how a restaurant manager could allow food like to to come out of the kitchen. Hamberger steak burnt, onions on top obviously cooked early and put og top and full og grease. Texas toast soaked with grease. The waitress exchanged our food for a rubin sandwich. When the sandwich arrived we picked it up and it fell apart in our hands. The sandwich was FULL OG GREASE and bread soaked. The salad and french fries were good. This place needs a management change and the need to hire some cooks that know how to cook. read more

The two of us decided to give this place a try on a Friday evening when the catfish is featured. We have not dined here in several years. It was busy but the waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Considering the busy evening the dining room was clean and orderly. My lady ordered a (breaded) chicken sandwich w/onion rings. I had the catfish with onion rings. It came with a few hush puppies and a small side salad. We each had tea to drink. The small salad was just that. It was OK. The chicken sandwich appeared to be 3 or 4 chicken strips on a bun. The pieces were very obviously burned and hardly edible. The onion rings (for both of us) we're hot but had the strong horrible taste of old, stale burned fryer grease. You know that taste. The catfish was actually cool, not even room temperature. The breading could be easily shaken off. Hush puppies were not warm either. After some reflection I believe this is the worst meal I've ever been served at any establishment. Seriously. This is apparently not everyone's experience here. There are usually cars in the parking lot most evenings. BTW, this meal for 2 served in plastic trays with reasonable gratuity was $43. read more

Got up early to Mustang, OK. Had to go to Tractor Supply for Chicken Feed (shhh, yes I have backyard chickens, can't beat the fresh eggs) I stopped at the Boon-a-Rang Diner for a little breakfast. Love being greeted when you walk in a diner. It wasn't busy, looked like a bunch of local older men having breakfast at their morning hangout. I ordered the Big Breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, hash brown, biscuits and gravy ($5.69). Black coffee and water to drink. My food came out at a decent time and was cooked to order, expected. The atmosphere was what was to be expected with vintage photos and signs, even a life size Elvis. The banter was casual, with the waitress interacting with the costumers. This is my third time in and I've had or tried to have the all you can eat fish. First time got it liked it. Service was slow. Especially when asking for additional fish. The second time I was informed when I tried to order that the fish delivery didn't come today. So I left. Today I ordered it and asked the server to 'get another batch started'. She said OK. I still haven't seen her again. I stopped another server after I had eaten all of my fish and fries and cole slaw to ask where my additional fish might be. She came back and said it was thawing in the kitchen. Unbelievable. Wow. She just delivered more fish. They're only charging me for a regular dinner. I saved 70 cents. Won't be back read more

My family and I wanted some good diner food.. this was not the place to get it. The hamburgers were dry and had no flavor. The KV burger had only a few pieces of mushrooms and onions on it. The biscuit was old and hard as a brick. My sons played hockey with it and it just shattered. The gravy was like jello. The footlong chili dog was shriveled up and so chewy I could hardly bite into it and the chili tasted like dirt. The tater tots were rubbery but the worst thing was when I opened the container that had two eggs in it and the smell almost made me vomit. Yes, the eggs were rotten. Most of the food went into the trash. The only decent thing were the fries. They were the only thing that was actually fresh but they weren't cooked all the way. It was a raw potato in the middle of more than half the fries. The two sausage patties were just ok. The toast on the patty melt was good. I usually give a place a few tries but with them serving eggs that were clearly bad enough to stink up an entire room, there's no way I will ever go back. read more

Been to boom-a-rang in Bethany and decided to try this location cause it's actually closer to me. Order 3 burgers, onion rings and cheese curds. The only good thing about here was the onion rings and cheese curds. My KV mushroom burger had one small piece of mushroom on it, my husbands burger was supposed to come with jalapeños and he got a completely different burger all together. The waitress took forever to come back after dropping g off the food and by then all the food was cold. Don't recommend this location at all. Over heard another table that order large sides and didn't get large sides. read more

We came by on Monday during their half off burgers night. We were told to seat ourselves. Then bam! The place was packed Not a single table was available. Seemed the crowd followed use there. Place was very clean considering how busy they were. Four waitress were running helping everyone. They each helped us. I couldn't tell if they had assigned tables or not. But each was very friendly and helpful with the menu. You kick back listening the the 50s Boom-a-Rang Radio. Lol. I chose the bacon ranch cheeseburger, hadn't had one. Was great. Lots of vegs, nice juicy meat. A load of fries along with it. The staff kept coming and asking if we needed anything. Although they were very busy, I wind up with 3 refills-drink was about 90% ice. They need less ice, less refills. Lol. Good overall. Enjoyed looking around at the fun 50s theme decor. We grabbed a chocolate milkshake to go. Pretty sweet tasting. Came here on a Monday night with some friends because it's half price burger day. I ordered a 1/2 lb. cheeseburger with a side of fried okra and they both were cooked perfectly. The place is decorated real nice with 50's and 60's memorabilia and it's real clean. It's just a nice laid back place with good diner food. The servers are good but the cooks are a little slow. A party of 4 and the bill was $21 you can't beat that. I will definitely be here more often on Mondays for a 1/2 price burger. read more

Literally the worst breakfast I've ever had. I ordered orange juice that they charge by the cup for and it was half full. Our waitress said the manager does it on purpose. The eggs were extremely undercooked. The chicken fried steak came with barely a spoonful of gravy. When I asked for a side of gravy i waited 25 minutes before asking someone else. The toast came out with no butter or anything on it and you have to request butter or jam. This is the first review I've ever posted and I'm only doing it to warn others. read more

This place has a great feel and setting. I came in to place an Uber eats order and the person I was placing the order with said "are you sure your at the right place" when I asked for what the Uber eats person was ordering. I was at the right place but what they had asked for was not currently on the menu. Instead of being like " oh we don't serve that anymore" they were a little rude. My wife and I ordered mushroom and Swiss burgers. Got them, her burger was easily 50% larger than mine. The cheese was not melted, and each burger had three small mushrooms that covered an insignificant portion of it. Mediocre onion rings at best, and a very small portion for over $3. I didn't think anything was worth the calorie count or the money. It was $40 for 2 adults and 2 kids. For greasy mediocre food. I'm super sad I even wasted my cheat meal on this place. Honestly, chickfila has way better chicken bites and fries. The gravy was cold and just gross. My son wouldn't touch the catfish and macaroni. Walked in and stood by the door awaiting to be seated because their wasn't any signs saying seat your self or anything, not one employee greeted us, said hi or welcome, or said seat where you like, stood their and watch the lady clean 3 tables walking right by us and she still never said anything, she just looked at us with a scowl, then another family walks in and apparently knows it's seat yourself and walks past us and sits down. Don't recommend because the staff have bad attitudes and are not friendly and make you feel unwelcome and like you are an inconvenience. read more

I called in a to-go order last night....simple....2 burgers, order of fries, onion rings and chocolate shake. I picked it up and paid for it. No problem. Once I got home, I preceded to get the food out of the bag. My fries were old and cold, my onion rings were not hot and last the burger was tiny and cold. Not exactly the way I wanted it. I called the restaurant and told them. I could go down and re-do the order or they would put my name and information on piece of paper and wait till I come in next time and get a free meal. I asked if they could send me something in the mail and the answer was "no". Needless to say I will never go back and the milkshake was almost like milk. Very disappointed. read more

Stopped here for breakfast (which was very good!), I was alone and wearing my military uniform, and nearly everyone at the restaurant thanked me for my service, every member of the wait staff stopped at my table, a mystery guest paid for my breakfast, and a really sweet lady donated $10 at the restaurant on my behalf! This is a great community with great American values! I'll be back again, I can't thank them enough and I am proud to wear my uniform for them! read more

You come into this place and it's full, don't be surprised! The waitresses had high energy and were working as a team! Went there for lunch with coworker. It's a unique place. A 1950's Diner style restaurant. Great service, great burgers. The Eggwich from the breakfast section and the burger basket are delicious! Breakfast menu item available during lunch! The entire restaurant is decorated with memorabilia from that era and there is life size Elvis statue welcoming you at the entrance. Awesome place!!!
