Capri Booker claimed a handyman booking via Angi for a curtain rod installation at my home. Despite running Bookerboyz Electric, Capri demonstrated a complete lack of basic handyman and assembly skills. From the start, he didn't even know how to unpack or assemble a standard curtain rod, claiming necessary parts were "extra" until we had to correct him. He then rudely demanded that we stop watching him work. Capri installed the curtain rod completely off-center and crooked, leaving multiple unnecessary drill holes damaging our drywall and paint. When we politely asked him to correct the mounting, Capri Booker reacted with aggression--slammed our door, shouted, terrified our baby, and stormed off, abandoning the job unfinished without cleaning up his mess. He caused property damage, exhibited aggressive behavior, and showed zero respect for our home. Angi had to send another professional to repair the damaged drywall, repaint the wall, and reinstall the rod properly, while permanently blocking Capri from our account. Absolutely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional experience with Capri B. from Bookerboyz Electric. Capri accepted the job through Agni and repeatedly indicated that he was on his way. Based on that, we waited. And waited. Over THREE AND A HALF HOURS later, he still had not shown up. Ultimately, he never showed up at all. Being late is one thing. Emergencies happen and schedules change. But telling a customer you're on the way, having them sit around for more than 3.5 hours expecting you to arrive, and then never showing up is a complete disregard for someone else's time. If you can't make a job, just say so. It takes seconds to send a message. Instead, we wasted a significant portion of our day waiting for someone who never arrived. Capri was knowledgeable about the LG mount and correctly pointed out the lack of horizontal adjustments on the stock mount, resulting in an off-center position due to the studs not being perfectly aligned with the center of the wall. To remove my old TV and reuse the mount, there was a $85 upcharge. The power outlet was in the way and Capri relocated the outlet for an extra $100. Overall satisfied with the work. Boughten a A/C the other day off amazon. Reached out to my Leasing office because I live in an apartment complex and they told me they were going to send the maintenance person out to my APT to help me with my A/C unit. All of sudden I get a knock on the door within 20 mins of sending that email from a guy that proceeded to tell me that he is with " BOOKERBOYS ". Never called them and thought it was weird but I thought maybe , my leasing office called this third party guy over. Needless to say after him checking the breaker box and taking one of the power outlets out of the wall. He proceeded to tell me in a very fast manor that I would need to replace the power outlet and that would run me $125 and I would also need to replace and upgrade my 20 watt amp in my breaker box to a 30 watt amp because the amp in there right now is burnt out. And that your A/C is waaaaay to powerful for you outlet and breaker so will need to replace and upgrade your 20 amp breaker... Fast forward his on his way out, when my " ACUTUAL " maintenance guys come to my door and have no idea/recollect or information of this guys stopping by at all... So that was awkard.., then the bookerboyz technician proceeds to say one last slick comment " the longer you keep using the outlets the more its going to burn out and cause damage . " So that was nice of him , and his way of trying to pressure me into fixing this asap and spending over $400 more dollars on this AC! The verdict? The maintenance guys ask to take a picture of his card and proceeded to check everything out he checked out and said not only is your breaker amp not burned out but your A/C unit is not too " POWERFUL " for you breaker nor is it too powerful for your outlet. The A/C unit is actually below the max! The A/C unit is 15watts... Needless to say the maintenance guys got everything up and running and everything works great like it did before and I didnt have to pay a DIME out of my pocket... Now Im sure this is just one bad apple in the company but still Im not taking my chances with this company ever again. Specially since I never even called them in the first place!
