WELL to start off my visit. let see tonight i went into a store that i thought was a high named long time business. i walked out of my car and there was bummy looking men standing out side the door smoking i thought it was a biker bar. as i walked into this place the employees were sitting on the counter (not well kept up) no hi no can i help you no nothing. being my first time in here and from what i have heard i was thought to believe that i would get the help. but anyways the place was grungy and dirty not well kept up the products were not well kept dust on the top of them. other customers were just opining up the "toys" cases made me to believe that if everyone can just touch the product why would i want to buy it. i am a shy person and the employee (no names) came slumping over towards me and shouted to me "ARE YOU LOOKING TO CHECK OUT THAT BIG LARGE VIBE ITS GREAT I USE IT ALL THE TIME AND LET ME TELL YOU YOU WILL HAVE NO NEED FOR ANYONE IN A SEXUAL WAY" this employee said it so loud that i saw the other customers mouths drop another couple just put down their item and walked out. after i said no thank you i will be fine looking myself thank you anyways. about 2 seconds later here that employee comes again. i am telling you if you do want a good place to shop for all your behind closed doors needs BOOKENDS IS NOT THE PLACE TO SHOP. it is dirty unkept looks like a biker bar and the staff are very very very unprofessional! i have never been so harassed in my whole life! from the trash all over the parking lot to the employees ect i can go on and on i would never tell a friend to ever shop here ever! take it from me enter at your own risk better yet shop online or just plain stay away. oh may i also add i the employees have no respect for the people who employee them! no respect at all makes me sick!!!! becareful walking to your car you might see a people getting it on in the back parking lot! gross read more

I went there 2 times and both times when I walked in, the lady just looked at me and turned her head. I asked if she could help me grab something on the top shelf and she sighed, grabbed it for me and then when I asked a simple "wow, this is different! have you tried this?" She said in a very irritating manner "i dont know anything about that. I just sell it so just leave it there if you dont want it." All while walking away from me, no eye contact. I then stood in line waiting and waiting to be checked out while she was having side conversations with someone she knew. Conversations about grandchildren even though shes only in her 60's and how she wants one, how she doesnt want to wait till shes "10ft under" (thought the saying was 6ft under but anyways), talking about a restaurant near by, etc etc ALL WHILE SHE KNEW I WAS WAITING TO BE RUNG UP. As soon as I was about to put my stuff down and walk out, she goes "you need something?" I told her "yeah I'm waiting for you to ring me out." And she took my stuff, rang it, took my money AND THEN CONTINUED HER CONVO WHILE HOLDING ONTO MY MONEY!! She didnt put it in the register, she didnt get my change, she just held onto it and carried on with her conversation. I then wanted to take the money back and leave, thats when she opened the register, got my change and as I held my hand out for her to hand me my change, she just laid it on the counter for me to pick the change up. She didn't put my things in a bag, she didn't say thank you nor did she say goodbye. She just put my change on the counter and continued her conversation with the other person. I don't ever really see cars parked on their side of the parking lot and My mother and I were the only customers. No wonder why! I have a business of my own, my whole family does. That is not how you run a business. I felt SO disrespected while shopping there. I was not rude, I was smiley when I walked in and I always try to speak politely and professionally. If that lady isnt the owner then that place needs a new employee or new staff members. Someone who can utilize the down time to tidy up the place and can offer decent customer service. Completely unacceptable. I would give it 0 stars if I could, shame to this business.

I was so excited to come here, as these are my favorite gummies. Even though I live in NYC where there are plenty of dispensaries, I always ask my cousin to make an Insa run for me and meet me at the family function when I need to stock up. The shopping experience could not have been a bigger disappointment and I left incredibly stressed. I was asking about other flavors of gummies I haven't tried yet. I asked what the difference was in composition. The store clerk told me they were all different flavors. I said I understand that and asked about composition again. Then said they're all the same because they're 5mg. I couldn't believe I had to hold his hand through this entire interaction and get more specific. So I asked about to THC/CBD ratio and TAC. Then I asked another question that he couldn't answer and quickly realized I should stop and get in line and GTFO of there. Then when he was ringing me up, he told me there was a buy one get one free sale, which is not how the products were rung up. After about 5 excruciating minutes of back and forth, the kind gentleman next to him at the register finally leaned in and told me the BOGO deal is only good for one product. I asked why the clerk didn't tell me that in the first place and he said he didn't know, then the clerk next to him showed him a laminated sign attached to the register that clearly stated the BOGO deal terms and restrictions. This guy couldn't answer product questions and couldn't explain the price of things, so basically he's just a warm body collecting a paycheck.
