They have not let me down. Their staff highlights the best books. The pricing isn't lowest you'll find, but I'm ok with that because I'm supporting people and a message, and not a big chain. I've been able to find pretty rare records and comics for a decent price, they usually have different deals every month. The customer service here is just average, I've only been here twice but both times I never get checked on or asked if I need help... which is fine because I know what I'm looking for anyway. I'd recommend this location if you have time to dig around.

There was a small hiccup/misunderstanding with a large set of books I purchased from them (it was missing one volume out of 150) and the owner went out of his way to make it right. He ordered me the missing volume and had it mailed to my house since I live two hours away. This was my second trip to Blue Plate and I will always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area.

It felt like it was built a long while ago and they haven't done anything to update it as of yet. Obviously the sections have changed a bit in terms of size and what is offered overall. I found it surprising that they still had a vibrant DVD section (although I am sure they switched over to Blu-ray). The café in the store was going strong while I walked through. I will have to say that my purpose from coming in here was to take a trip down memory lane, and that was about it.
