We ended up going to happy hour on a Saturday which was a nice surprise. We ordered for appetizers the scallion pancakes, crab rangoon and pork gyoza which all was super good and tasted fresh. For sushi we ordered the Sakura Roll which was my favorite, the orange dragon roll which tasted good, but I think could have used more of the orange sauce. We also ordered the sweet potato roll and spicy tuna roll. The sushi tasted so good and fresh. What I really enjoyed was seeing the interactions between local/regular customers and the staff. Very warm and makes me want to continue to support this particular local business. Plus the food was great. I will definitely be back!

She is very passionate about the menu and is very attentive to everyone. Thankfully, as our food was served she was there to explain that the best way to experience the chef's creation is to eat it as it presented (without soy sauce) first. She went on to explain that each dish is created with specific textures and flavors in mind to create an intentional balanced bite. She is absolutely correct and I am so glad we listened. In fact, after trying the "second" bite with soy sauce, we recognized that it was much better without it. The soy sauce is homemade and delicious but the sushi is so perfectly executed, it really does not need anything at all to shine. This is not your average sushi joint. The food and service will blow you away. Get the Princess Peach Roll if it's available. The Tiger Roll and the Flame Touch were also fantastic. Hint: the tiger roll comes with lemon slices on top - do not remove the lemon. Trust me.

I repeat told me to hurry up and order because the kitchen closes at three. Talk about pressure! So I ordered miso soup, a devil roll, and a Pepsi. So as I'm sitting in my booth, waiting for the food to be prepared, and I was keeping an eye on the sushi, chef, he sneezed. OK, I hope he wiped his hands and none of that crap went into the sushi roll he was making. Anyways, out came the soda and the miso soup. The miso soup was served in a plastic bowl about 3/4 of the way up. Also included was a plastic soup spoon. Looking around, this place was decent inside. Why would they be serving in plastic bowls with plastic utensils? This made no sense but OK. Out came the devil roll, and it looked like sushi, except it had this weird red spam like texture stuff on the top of it. I had no clue what it was. I ate it, but it was barely edible and seeing it was 14.95 , I wasn't about to send it back. So the two waitresses kept staring at me like saying hurry up hurry up hurry, hurry hurry And all my 65+ years on this earth I never felt so rushed.. These waitresses were not friendly. As soon as I was finished it looked like the manager, came over and immediately cleaned the table. She didn't give me the best looks either. Anyways, the food was decent the price decent, but the help, be prepared to be attacked by soup Nazis This definitely won't be a place I'll return to. Manners, Sushi House, manners!

I did not try the Chicken Nuggets or the mac & cheese (maybe next time), but the pizza was not good, tasted like a piece of cardboard with melted cheese on it, the fries had no flavor and were cold, so those are a no-go.
