The selection was a bit overwhelming, but ended up being fun as we met my wife's relatives who lived nearby, for pizza and drinks on a Friday night. As it so happens, our invitees lived close by but had never been here before, so it was the first time for everyone. Some helpful patrons helped us how to optimize. My wife opened a tab and received a card, which was placed above a tap to activate it. Any pours would go on the card, and prices varied across the drinks (e.g. Miller Lite was $0.28 per ounce while a beer like Bird Law Hazy IPA from New England was $0.76). One can easily create flights as well. There were plenty of beers that interested me, but couldn't keep track, and as of this moment (one week later), have no idea what I drank (it wasn't a lot, just enough to keep up with the others). We did order bar food (going on the same tab), all shareable, and it was decent. One were Italian Meatballs ($10), five pieces of from frozen but tasty meatballs, coming with five pieces of toasted bread rounds. Also got an order of Nachos ($13) which was recommended by the same helpful patrons: good with plenty of toppings (perhaps too much). A Bavarian Pretzel ($8) was a winner, especially dipped in the beer cheese. And the sausage pizza ($13) was definitely tavern style (though cut into pie shapes), with crumbled sausage underneath a thick layer of cheese...tasted like a really good frozen pizza prepared well. Made me miss Midwest bar food, especially at these prices. I also learned that I suck at pulling a pint...all mine were way too foamy and since you pay for any beer you pull, throwing away the foam was not a good idea.

We had the VIP space upstairs which was great. My son had the absolute best time here and everyone enjoyed themselves. Kids enjoyed the arcade and outdoor attractions. The party room offered a nice atmosphere. Only negative was- They need to increase on air-conditioning circulation in the space could have been better. There are slot machines too. Now that I think of it, I thought it was weird that there were several fans going all over the bar...water issues? Anyway, after eating our pizza, we left and caught the owner, Phil, on the way out. We told him the pizza was good and that maybe he needs to mention that soft drink refills are not free. I know it's not a big deal, but I just assumed at a place that presents itself as an upscale bar, with a "chef", that would be the case. Oh well, I paid over $8 for 3 ice filled pints of Diet Coke. I'm just saying it would have been nice to have been told that by the bartender. Then this guy goes on about he can't do that and that he has free music so that should be enough and he'd go broke if he gave away free refills of Coke! He was all huffy at that point and I have no idea what he was talking about. So to calm the situation I asked him about his live music and began to tell him that I am trying to rebrand the hall at our local VFW and he cuts me off to snap at me, "Good luck with that! Try to get 25 people in that place! Ha! Ha! Ha!" as he turned and was walking away from me. I was in udder shock! What?! It's the local VFW Hall and I'm trying to help out our veterans?! My entire point was before he cut me off, the hall holds way more people than his little, bitty place and I wanted to offer the hall so he can book larger acts. Oh well! His loss! Not really sure what this guy's deal is but it seems like my experience is a common one with him! Read the other reviews! Wow! In this day and age an owner shouldn't treat customers like this. Especially after they just spent good money in his place. SMH. Never again! Plenty of other options in the area to spend my money.
