    a hamburger and french fries

I was told there was a great burger place just outside of town. I'm a bit late with this review, but better late than never. You travel maybe 10 minutes off the 5 freeway. It's easy to find. It looks like a old timey burger joint. The menu is pretty standard, burgers fries and shakes and drinks. We got a couple of cheese burgers and they were good in a rural country sort of way. This is a good place to stop for lunch if you happen to be in the area, but I'll probably not make a detour off the freeway next time, but still a decent place to eat.

Stopped in after the kids baseball game. What a deal on food in a town without a lot of options. Burgers were big, and the fries were just right. All of the dippings you could want, fry sauce, ketchup, ranch, BBQ etc. It's a pretty simple layout, cozy atmosphere. The girls behind the counter were friendly and quick to get the orders out. The price is amazing for what you get. If you ate in Redding or Anderson, you can expect to pay 50% or more at a similar kind of burger joint. Free refills on soda. What's not to love?

Dear Sonic Customer Relations Team,…read more I am submitting a formal complaint regarding repeated order errors, poor customer service, and the inability to obtain a refund for items that were not prepared correctly at the Anderson, California location. Order #10003691576009 was placed through the Sonic app for pickup at the Anderson, CA location. The order was missing a medium cheese tots item totaling $4.09 plus tax. Order #1000372031168 was also placed through the app at 1:33 p.m. and included a large cheese tots with onion, totaling $5.09 plus tax. This item was incorrectly prepared with chili, which poses a serious concern as my co-worker is allergic. I arrived approximately 10-15 minutes after placing the order, checked in through the app, and selected stall #2. I waited approximately 10 minutes with no response before going to the door for assistance. No one acknowledged me, so I returned to my vehicle. The food was finally brought out about two minutes later. Both orders were taken back to work, where the errors were discovered. Attempts to contact the Anderson location by phone were unsuccessful, as the phone rang repeatedly without being answered. When I contacted Sonic customer service for app orders, I was advised that the only options available were a food replacement or a $5 Sonic gift card. Due to ongoing issues with this location, we declined both options and requested refunds for the two incorrect items totaling $9.18 plus tax. I was informed that refunds could not be issued and that the complaint would be escalated. On 12/19/25, I received a call from the manager of the Anderson location in response to the escalation. She stated she could only offer the same options previously presented and was not authorized to issue a refund. She directed me back to customer service, stating they were the only ones who could process refunds. Customer service was contacted twice more. Both calls were disconnected, and no return calls were made. A chat through the Sonic website again resulted in being told the Anderson location had to process the refund. No other resolution was offered. To date, no refund has been issued. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience. Within the past week, a co-worker ordered a Reese's Sonic Blast late at night and discovered the candy was only lightly sprinkled on top instead of mixed throughout. On another late-night visit, the same co-worker entered the drive-through, was told someone would assist her shortly, waited over two minutes without further response, and ultimately drove away. It is unacceptable that attempting to obtain a simple refund of $9.18 plus tax for incorrectly prepared items has required multiple calls, extensive wasted time, contradictory information, and ultimately no resolution. This is the only Sonic location in our area, and the ongoing service issues make it difficult to justify continued business. I am requesting a refund for the two incorrect items and a review of customer service and operational standards at the Anderson, CA location. I would appreciate written acknowledgment of this complaint and confirmation of how this matter will be resolved.

People compare it a lot to Cane's and they have some friendly rivalry, so we wanted to partake in the comparison! The gentleman at the register was extremely friendly and knowledgeable when helping us decide what to order! There aren't a ton of options, but the options available are streamlined and give a good variety of spice level and flavor. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. There were open tables and our food was ready quickly. Sadly, this is where my review becomes not as enjoyable. I ordered the hot honey chicken and, while the flavor was interesting, it was extremely greasy and lacked any depth within the flavor. Everyone else at my table ordered the sliders and had the same type of experience. It truly left me wondering what the hype about this place was and how it became popular because it just felt like a very standard chicken sandwich/chicken tenders. I don't plan on going back, but perhaps it was the location versus the actual restaurant? It's definitely worth a try because I have heard good things about it.

Looking at the recent reviews for Arby's , it's not a fast food place I'd want to go. Actually, I…read morelike fast food burgers and Arby's never offered burgers ... till NOW! The only reason I'm here is to try the brand new Wagyu Steakhouse Bacon CheeseBurger! I fell for all the advertisements and decided to give it a try. Other reviews said it's great, so I hope so. I already tried the Deluxe version which is a dollar cheaper and no bacon. First off I notice the price is higher than what Arby's advertised. It's supposed to be $6.99, but really it's $8.99! Pisses me off they do that even though fine print says prices may vary .... say what the damn price is and keep it there! No one else in line so I order a Deluxe Wagyu Bacon Steakhouse Burger. Just to see what it's like. I hope this fast food burger is worth $9 bucks! Almost $10 with tax. First, let me say, Arby's is not set up to do burgers, meaning no flame broiler or flat top griddle to fry the burgers on. So, what they came up with is to pre cook the burgers at some central kitchen factory, by vacuum sealing the raw meat and cooking them in hot water to a still medium pink. Then they are shipped to the restaurants to be unsealed and heated. Get this, by DEEP FRYING the pre-cooked patties to get a crisp on the outside and bring them up to cooked temp to be served. About 90 seconds I hear. Hey, I got nothing against deep frying, I love most things deep fried! First time for a burger though. I get the burger and bring it to the table. Hmmm... it is pretty hefty, heavier than a Double Double at In N out. Unwrapping, I can tell this is gonna be messy, lots of sauce oozing out the sides. OK, first bite .... first bites are like first kisses, you never know what to expect, but hope for the best! Well, YUMMERS, this thing is pretty good. This is a decent thick patty and a more meat centric experience, say compared to a Double Double where the meat ratio is less but works well with all the other ingredients. This bad boy is all about the meat! This cheeseburger bacon version is definitely better and worth a buck more than the standard Deluxe version. The taste of the smoky bacon really comes through more than I thought it might. It was not over cooked, still slightly pink and moist. I though it could have used a little more lettuce or maybe less sauce. I gotta say, this Wagyu Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger is a keeper! Get down to your local Arby's and give it a try. The only downside to me anyways, is the price, over $9.00 inc. tax for a fast food burger, add some fries and it's a $12 or $13 lunch, maybe that's just the prices these days. I usually only do fast food with coupons ... 2 Jr. Whoppers and 2 fries for $4 bucks! I'm gonna say the price for what it is is a little high, just for what I feel you get. Still tasty though if you have the money.

I ordered 2 bowls (the smallest orders) of the broccoli beef and the what they call spicy orange chicken. I think that's what it was called. I'm watching as the server filled the bowls, and I urged them on to fill it a little more. They only added a little dinky bit more. I think the serving sizes are a little on the skimpy side compared to like the little independent Chinese owned fast food place in Red Bluff, where they just stuff the box as full as it will go. I just notice this about all the Panda Expresses I've been to. I got both with the chow mien as the side. At least they take credit cards easy here and no credit card use fee. I just usually pay cash at the little mom and pop places. I get home and the food is still decently hot. The broccoli beef is just OK, but the spicy orange chicken thing was pretty tasty. The bowl orders were actually kind deep, so there was actually a decent amount of food in each. I'm just glad they were open and I guess Panda Express does have it's use. If they were just a little more generous with the portions, they'd get a higher rating, just cause other mom and pops are better with the portions for about the same price.
