A surprising experience. The place was clean and well kept/organized. Even the bathroom was nice. The decor was cool. Weird to hear two Mexican style songs going at the same time. They were nice enough to allow me to sample a soup (small sauce cup). The albondigas soup was great! They have a bunch of lemon, onions, and rice. Tasted fresh in the late afternoon. The staff was nice, took a bit to get their attention when chatting among themselves. Overall it was a good spot. Need to try a few more dishes in the near future. read more

Very good service but wasn't very pleased with the meat. It seems like they cooked it in pork fat. The chicken was also very dry but overall everything else was good, it was just the meats that weren't that great. The chilaquiles were good! read more

Saw this little place from across Thriftyland 101 and had to make a stop since I was already craving Mexican food and my father is from Sinaloa. Food was DELICIOUS. Chilaquiles were good and my friend got huevos rancheros with a lot of bell peppers, which she loves. Liked the Pedro Infante songs they were playing, too. My father is a huge fan of him. I stopped in this place for the first time since the rebuild. This center had a fire a few years ago and many businesses were damaged. Came in for a to go order for my son. I ordered an Al pastor burrito Mojado and waited at the counter bar top, it was pretty fast. Smelled delicious and tasted great, I sampled a little while my son was eating it. The flavor was salty and spicy which I prefer, the seasoning offset the spicier flavor. I'll be back. read more

Wow, this place had a really good posole! I'm saddened that I ate the whole thing without snapping a picture! I did snap a pic of the sides. I also ordered a carnitas burrito. Originally was going to do Grub Hub but then decided to go check it out. This is when the friendly cashier shared that they carry posolr and menudo Daily!!! I have to say, super excited to hear this news. Also, my posole came with so many sides: tortilla chips, tostadas, salsa, lemon, cabbage, lemon, cilantro, oregano, cabbage and crushed pepper. I have to share about the experience. It's located in a strip mall, signage is big, with plenty of parking. Upon entering, they have a large dining area also patio seating. They noise was not bad, and plenty of folks enjoying their food. Customer service was great, the food was hot, and very reasonable prices. Bonito Sinaloa was perfect! The Caballitos de Mar is not on the physical menu but you can still order it. It includes both Green and Red aguachile divided and 3 Shrimp & Oyster shots. It makes a great starter for a couple of people but it's a lot for one person. The shrimp was delicious but what made this dish stand out for me over other restaurants is the red and green salsa were both perfectly balanced. I didn't favor one over the other because they had the same texture, acidity, spiciness, and saltiness which were all on point. The michelada came out nice and cold in a chilled mug. read more

Food is okay.. but when u called for my pick up order and specifically asked for extra salsa as they don't put any in their machaca so it is dry the lady said okay. I checked the bag before tipping and only one salsa was with the chips. I asked nicely for more and tipped $3. She wouldn't give me more than 3, even though there were chips too. She raised her voice and said there are 3 salsas like I couldn't count. Yes, 3 mini salsas is not enough for chips and a machaca plate when I'm paying $20. If I had eaten there I would have got unlimited. Somebody needs to teach this lady and establishment the customer is always right and salsa is cheap compared to horrible reviews like this. read more

Small place with a DJ I went there with three of my friends on Friday. The music is entertaining but the food is horrible I had the mixed fajitas, the beef was hard, as well as the chicken and it didn't have any char on the vegetables. I would come with my parents and introduced my boyfriend to this location and let just say he enjoyed their molcajete and also their filete relleno. Debut y despedida!! We went for the first time to this place. I didn't read any reviews but in my mind if the restaurant's name has Sinaloa in it then the food should be delicious. I was craving tostadas Sinaloenses, and to my surprise they don't have it in the menu, they have sopes which is almost the same as what I wanted. I asked our server if they can use tostadas instead of the sopes to place an order, she asked the cook if that could be possible and the server returned to tell me that they will accommodate the request..... I thought great!! Now I will eat what I want!! I ordered the tostadas, my husband ordered a molcajete Azteca, and my son ordered a torta. Everything was good!! When we asked for our check we were perplexed. The tostadas were super expensive, I noticed that the order of three sopes were $8.99 so I assumed the order of tostadas will be several dollars more because it was a special order, but to my surprise they charged my as if my tostadas were tostadas of ceviche and since they served a little "consomé" they charged us a little more. They charged $8.99 per tostada plus $3.00 for the consomé a total of $29.97 and my husband molcajete was $19.99. I asked the server how did she come up with that price? She told me that "la señora" aka the owner told her how much to charge. The server was apologetic and said that she knew it was very much overpriced but she needed to do what "la señora" told her to do. I told her not to worry that we will pay the price she charged but these were the most expensive tostadas I have ever ordered. The two stars are for the server and the cook that are not to blame for this type of practice. Needless to say that we will not be returning customers. read more

I used to come here often and I would bring my friends and family to try the best hand made huarache in town and the new owner removed It out of the menu. So I order the shrimp ceviche tostada and it was ridiculously salty oh God they put so much salt in the ceviche that I had to use a lot of ketchup to try to avoid the saltiness taste. I also was given a green salsa and it tasted like the green tomatoes were spoil. I almost threw up when I tasted the green salsa. Ewww I never had such a horrible food in this restaurant before. We chose this location since a family member highly recommended it. The waitress was friendly and the place was quite busy at the time we arrived. The decor was authentic and they offered karaoke. I was shook when I saw a DJ and karaoke in a restaurant lol!! One man sung who was clearly a patron and he sung incredible. Omg that was great instead of those singing loudly and music blaring with horrid voices would've been terrible. I don't read the language so I had my order kinda like, "just surprise me...." The item I received reminded me of a shrimp ceviche and was tasty. It was refreshing. They served it with crackers which I chose not to partake and just took a few tortillas instead. To me, it was more of an appetizer that I would've ordered on the side. My daughter ordered her plate and I was looking at it like, "shoot that's what I should've ordered" and surprisingly the kid ate every drop. Amazing. Food was good. However, they nickle and dime you for everything. There was a happy hour menu on the table and we ordered a couple of items from it. When they brought our bill, it was regular pricing. When we asked about it we were told we had to mention ot when we ordered and they wouldn't honor the happy hour prices. Very disappointing and not the way to do business. read more
