Over the summer we noticed our grass was suffering and knew something had been off with the sprinklers. After researching around and getting intimidated by the work ahead, I came into contact with David who was prompt and came to take a thorough look and answered all our questions. We ended up needing to replace and move some stations, fix a leak which took away the pressure and add a new valve/timer to become fully functional. He was knowledgeable and informative - you can tell he was passionate about the work he does while understanding your goal and budget which was important for us. Fast forward, we have new grass seeds and a functional system, we're pending results but see so many new sprouts. David checks in post project which we appreciate! We wait to have a nice green lawn again- I would recommend David! read more

GREAT experience with David and his team! Reached out to fix several items related to landscaping at one of the properties under our management. I did obtain several quotes from serveral companies. David's wasn't the cheapest but was middle of the bunch, but due to his fast response and good reviews. We decided to go with his company. He made a first trip out to check out the problems, and then provided a free estimate. After his estimate was approved by the owners, we were able to schedule the work within 2 weeks. His crew showed up on time the day of the work and worked quickly and efficiently. Very professional and you can tell they knew what they were doing. They replaced several valves as well as the old out of date timer for the sprinkler system. In addition, they removed an old wood deck, which was in the way, and installed 2 French drains in the backyard to divert the water flow that were causing problems due to grading issues. The work was done very nicely and completed in one day. They were clean and efficient. Very nice experience! read more

Great communication, prompt and excellent service. Fair pricing. Went above and beyond. Resolved the problem with expertise. Very kind, helpful and took the time to listen. So, if you have ever had your water turned off by the city during a heat wave without being notified, you may understand my urgency to find a qualified professional to repair a leak in the main line of our irrigation system. I am the HOA president for a small 15 unit townhome property. We manage our own emergencies. A neighbor complained about excessive water runoff to the neighborhood adjacent our property. It took me several weeks and our front lawn getting crispy from the sun before I realized the city had turned off our water service because of the runoff. At this point, I was getting desperate. After weeding out other companies because I just didn't have a good vibe, I fell upon this company. The owner, David, could not possibly have been more helpful. He immediately assessed the situation and assured me he could resolve the issue, which he did. He understood my concern to have our water restored so he stayed late into the evening to fix the leak. He left the water off overnight and came back the next evening to turn back on the water and check his work. Problem solved! Definitely call Bonico Landscapes if you are looking for an ethical, dependable, and highly skilled service. read more

Asked for photos cuz they don't want to come to the site. I took photos per request and they went MIA. Yelp also wasn't helpful since I can't reassign the project to other vendors. read more

David is the man! He took out my grape arbor which was causing me to have animals, bugs, and a big mess. David replaced it with a flower vine per his recommendation. He also cleaned up the grapes and sprayed off the pavers and porch. He did an awesome job! I'll be using him for my next project! He's very good with communication too, and fair pricing. He's a great guy and worker! read more

It feels so good when you find "your" gardener! David was very responsive and professional. He was able to get our work done quickly with his team and even came back to perfect something for us. They were able to remove the mulch and weeds that we had in our planters, lay down preventative fabric, and replace fresh soil for a fair price. We appreciate everything about our interaction with him. Looking forward to having them back for future maintenance! read more

Sunday night SOS as I was having a non -responsive sprinkler situation. Responded instantly, made me a priority, fixed my problem effortlessly, taught me how to handle my electronic box problem right after, and was a total pro. Cost effective, efficient and fast. A+!! read more

I had a leak and broken sprinklers contributing to over watering on my front lawn. I called and he came a few hours later to fix all issues the same day. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this service. read more

David communicated promptly, and came by in a timely manner. After checking the small sprinkler issue I had, we agreed on a fair price, and he got right to work. He is professional, courteous, and did a thorough job. He went above and beyond for me despite it being a small project. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone. read more

David was great. He came out one hour after I contacted him to fix my leaking irrigation valve. He also spent the time to answer my questions and educate me about the valve itself. Will definitely keep David in mind for any future projects or issues! read more

My yard had 13 beautiful birds of paradise plants, each 4-5' high and a decade old with huge root systems. I adopted a puppy last week and she apparently loves to chew on the starchy stems and pretty flowers - I discovered to my horror that birds of paradise are toxic for dogs! I reached out to Bonico Landscapes and several other gardening services in a hurry, trying to see who could come out to remove the plants (a big job) and to do so ASAP. Not only did D.J. of Bonico offer a reasonable estimate, he was able to get his associate Pablo out the very next day to bid the job (the price was still reasonable) and get started. By 11am the following morning, the plants were gone. Thank goodness, and thank you to Bonico Landscapes for helping my puppy stay healthy! read more

Great service and work. David was responsive and polite and truly cared for the quality of his work.

10/10! David did a fantastic job with quickly diagnosing our sprinkler issue and fixing it. He noticed other sprinklers with issues and was upfront about the cost of fixing it before doing it. Excellent communication. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood how the sprinklers worked. Without hesitation we will see David again and recommend him to everyone! read more

I contacted Bonico to get a quote for gardening services. He was going to come Friday and no showed when I told him no one came he said there was a misunderstanding so he will send someone Monday if I was still interested. I agreed to get a quote. We gave him a try and decided we were unhappy with the quality of work. We then contacted him thru text to let him know we will pay for his services completed but we did not want to continue. He texted us back confused and said he did not service our house and did not know what we were talking about. The following week the guy who did the work came back. So turns out this business sent another guy in lieu of himself. It was really unprofessional... and unclear... this guy that did our work was not clear on how much we owed him as his English was now good and while I was trying to communicate and figure out the amount he wanted he got frustrated and pulled out his shovel and threatened to ruin the sprinkler pipe he just fixed. It was really scary and i also was holding my baby in my arms. I would avoid them at all cost. read more

David arrived on time as promised and quickly identified the problem. He repaired the valve and the problem was solved. I highly recommend him. read more

Initial cleanup was great so we hired them for the bi-monthly maintenance. Downhill from there. Second time, they were about 6 hours late. Zero calls or communication and only told me they were coming because I called. They made an excuse saying their truck broke down. It happens and I get it, but at least let me know? Third time was a complete no show. I gave them two days to give me an update and nothing so I had to message them to cancel my services with them. Horrible communication, flaky, and not professional. I would not recommend them. read more

Awesome experience! I reached out to this business late afternoon and David gave a quick response and a free in person quote. He actively listened to what I wanted done and gave me a good value. In two days, the gardeners arrived and redid the yard in about three hours. The gardeners were friendly and respectful, even asking if there's any touchups that needed to be done. Would highly recommend and will probably be my go to gardening services. read more

We hired Bonico Landscapes to solve a problem with our from lawn sprinklers not functioning. His response was very prompt and he got to our house by the next day. We will most likely hire David to do some more work in the near future as we are pleased with his work. We appreciated his price as one of the other people who bid on the job quoted a high flat fee just to come out. read more

Can't say enough great things about David, Pablo & Ana. David's communication is fantastic, quick responses, and just an overall really friendly guy. We had a good amount of work to be done in our yards (chopping down a few trees, trimming some tree tops from power lines, clearing pathways of bushes, overall trimming/mowing/cleaning). Pablo & Ana did an amazing job, cranked it all out in an afternoon for a really reasonable price. I've arranged to have them come biweekly for overall landscaping, and tree trimming every few months. From a COVID perspective, they were very considerate as well. Social distanced, masks on at all times, and accepting of electronic payment. Keep up the great work guys! read more

David is the man! My sprinklers was leaking overnight and i thought it was the pipes, but it end up being valves. I yelped Davide 4 AM (insomnia) in the morning but I couldn't wait (anxiety issues) so I called him at 9 AM and the man replied back told me he can come out the same day at 9:45 AM. David was professional by wearing mask when we met and of course he explained to me what he'll be doing of course and the price was reasonable. Thank you David! read more

David and Bonico Landscapes have been exceptional to work with. We first discovered them in the early stages of the company in 2019. Since then, we used them as recently 2024 for three or four projects around our property. David has proven to be accurately priced (can't find a better value for the quality of work) and very helpful with everything from basic landscaping to some fairly complex hardscaping (matching in seamlessly with existing materials). Best of all, David is a hands on owner of his business. Any time his crew was here, he made sure to walk through multiple times per day to ensure the work was being done as we intended. Also worth mentioning- his team is incredibly clean. I've never had to go back through and clean again after they've left. Definitely worth considering them for your next project! read more

I would recommend David to family and friends without hesitation. He responded to my request in a timely manor. David came out to my location to give me an accurate quote for the job. The quote he gave me beat out many others that I have received. David and his team came out the same week and did a great job. I will definitely use his services again in the future. read more

I'm going to update this post after we do a bit more work, but I'm so happy to recommend Pablo Gardening & Landscaping. David was super responsive from the moment I first reached out. He came to see the yard and understand our project, which is kind of unusual. We had a lot of very specific concerns, but they were no problem. David and his crew were super friendly and professional, and I really appreciate their prompt, clear communication. Before they were even finished with this job, I knew I'd hire them for the next part too. What a joy to find great people to work with! read more

Had a great experience with Pablo Gardening and Landscaping with all the rain we had lately the weeds in my yard just shot up. Look at Pablos reviews on Yelp and I liked what I saw so I gave them a call. They were very professional gave me an option of coming over to take a look or send pictures. After a little back n fourth a day and time were set and to my Pleasant surprise they were able to come get the job done a day earlier and I'm so happy that they did. Got home from work and didn't even recognize my yard it looked great I would totally contact them in the future. And a big thank you to David for everything. read more

On time, easy to communicate, and gets the job done for a fair price. If you need your irrigation repair or upgrade highly recommend Pablo.

My yard looks great after Pablo came out! Great service and reasonable price. Very happy I found them.

I'm very thankful to have found Pablo. He did a tremendous job - my garden is looking beautiful. Thank you Pablo!

So thought everything was great. They showed up. A little late but they showed up. I had sent pics of my backyard it was over grown with weeds. They changed their price from $90 to $250. I said no I'll clear it myself, just do the front yard. Then they charged me $30 to cut my front yard only. It was supposed to be $30 for the front and back. They quoted $60 a month every 2 weeks. They no showed no called last week. Then we I messaged them for status. They said they would get back to me and then never responded again. So now I feel like they took money from me at this point. Don't recommend!!!! read more
