I have added some photos to show just how close to Culligan's tank installation the water leak was…read more This leak "just happened" during the two hour window while the Culligan man was altering our lines to install the Culligan tank! When we saw the corroded pipe, we realized the fair thing to do was to ask Culligan to pay only half of the $1,397.00 plumber's bill, even though the damage happened during their installation. They refused. This shows a lot more about their company's 'character' and standards than any slogans or promises.

Used Elias to transplant two medium size bushes and remove a pine tree. He returned our call…read morequickly and set up a time to review the job. Masks were worn, and he gave his honest opinion about how the bushes would be easier to relocate and survive than the pine tree. The pine tree was growing at a weird angle and the root ball would not fit where I hoped. He gave me an option of "by the hour" or "set price" with hauling included. On the day of the job he was on time, they worked quickly, efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards. He communicated instructions on how best to support the bushes so they survive the move. What would have taken me days, he did in hours.

I went today for a pre employment drug test. The appt was for 9:30am. I wad told I could get there…read more few minutes early but not later. I arrived at 9:25am and the shades were down in the window, and a note on the door about wearing a mask, ok, I can do that. The door was locked when I tried to open it, so I knocked. I heard a woman yell that she was on the phone, ok I stepped back to wait. It took a few minutes but she finally came to the door and let me in. She asked me a few questions in a way that made me think I was bothering her. Really rude but that I gladly answered. We went into the back and I emptied my pockets and she checked my socks, ok. Handed me the cup and I went in to pee. Put enough in the cup and finished peeing. Didn't flush, or turn on the water, came out and put the cup where she told me. I went to wash my hands. When I came out she didn't wait more than a second before she told me that it was fake pee, and not "warm" enough!!!! What?????? I have been drug tested many times, and never had this reaction. I have also been clean and sober for 20+ years!! I have been to other star testing places - in santa maria, and slo, and never had anyone say anything like that ever!! She told me that I had 3 hours to do another test, but that I could not leave the office before I did another test. Ok, so I sit and start drinking water, and she tells me not to drink so fast or so much. I had another appt in another town so I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. I called my future employer and told them what she had said and that I was going to be a while before going back to finish paperwork. That woman then CALLED my future employer and told them I used fake pee and that she caught me!! Now my second test has to go to the lab but now I may not get my job!! This is the worst, rudest, and awful person to deal with. I have never been treated like this at any other star testing place EVER over the years. First off I have years clean and sober, that I am very proud of! Second - she sat there while I waited to do the second test and told me all about how people try to get over on her. Third - she called my future employer and and told them I used "synthetic" pee! I did not!!! Unprofessional and rude!!! The old me would have been smart enough to do a fake pee test right but the me now never even thought this was possible. Now I wait and have to hope that my employer will be my employer And I also wonder why a first test can be do e in minutes and a second test has to go to a lab. But I was told "that is the procedure". They can't do a second test in the same time as the first??? Even if it has to still go to a lab ???

After going round and round with another company, having problems with communication and reliability, I finally wised-up and called North County Plumbing. Paul and Jim were available for all our questions, were thorough in their explanations, priced reasonably, and have gone above and beyond to accommodate our very needy property in a timely manner. Dre (one of their plumbers) has also been great to work with as we've battle some head-scratching plumbing problems. I don't wish plumbing problems on anyone, but if you do have the need, do yourself a favor and call these guys FIRST! You won't be disappointed.
