They were able to diagnose the issue, explain everything they were doing along the way, and get everything fixed quickly and efficiently. It's not every day you find someone who is not only fast and knowledgeable but also takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on. We truly appreciate the professionalism, kindness, and excellent service! I would 100% recommend Santos Bros Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing help. 10/10 service I would recommend them 100 times over! Plus I love the touch of the COWBOY Hats we love to see it here in the Central Coast yeehaw!

We had a very disappointing experience…read more We were charged an $89 service fee just for an inspection. The technician Nate diagnosed the issue as a simple diverter, which he himself said costs around $20. However, we were then quoted $700 for the repair. When we asked if there was any flexibility on pricing, we were told there is no negotiation -- but then were offered a $50 discount in exchange for leaving a 5-star review, which felt inappropriate and not genuine. The interaction became uncomfortable when we questioned the pricing, and the explanation given (overhead, gas, etc.) did not justify such a large markup for what appears to be a straightforward repair. For comparison, we had another licensed professional come out the same day. They applied the inspection fee toward the repair and completed the job for $200 total, which felt much more reasonable and transparent. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and money. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding.

Owner Rich came out for an estimate on an HVAC install. The…read moreestimate was 10K For a 1 day install: with 1 electrical and 1 Hvac. Plus a $550 permit and about $400 in materials. So, if you are an electrician for this company make sure you invoice for about $500/hr! And their HVAC guys, I think its awesome your boss pays you $500/hr. But clients beware, there is a lot of gouging going on. Usually its $150/hr for the technical. And call the suppliers, you'll see the cost of the HVAC equipment is much less than you are being quoted! And other than duct work, its an easy day or two for an install. So do the math, and don't let our community be the place where we pay $ 500/hr for electricians.
