I left a five-star review two years ago. Today, they're back, and it's another five-star day. Sure, I dropped thousands of dollars on the replacement of the pump and all the 30-year-old wiring and such which had failed as a group. It's not like we're made of money, and it's a hard pill to swallow, but it had to be done and I can't imagine it going any better or in a more timely fashion than this team. I called yesterday afternoon when we discovered the pump was no longer pumping. They were out here before the end of day and troubleshot the problem. They were back first thing this morning with all the tools and equipment they could need and had the replacement project wrapped up shortly after lunch. Our pump is running, tank filling, I'll be able to do the dishes and take a shower before dinnertime. The crew, from office staff to the two young men who came out to do the work, were friendly, professional, and understood that no pump means no water, an issue not only for rural residents, but all the animals we support out here. It's nice to work with a locally owned company with so many years of experience in the area that they know the wells like they know their own children. I hope I don't have to call for another decade, but if I do, I know who I'll be calling. read more

We had the option to either fix our water tank or purchase and install a new one. We went with installing a new one through Filipponi & Thompson and they made it super easy and professional. John came out and assessed our situation and then Nick and crew came out to install a new tank, pipes and switches. These guys are awesome! Our pressure switch went out late yesterday afternoon, so no water for us! I called Farm Supply, as they have always been good to us, and all of their service guys had left for the day at 4:30! I left multiple messages on their emergency line with no response. This morning with still no water, I called Filipponi and Thompson at 6:30am and left a message hoping to get on their schedule first thing. At 7:30 I got a call and was told they'd send someone out asap. Sure enough by 9:15 Zach and another guy were here and fixed our issue within a few minutes! They also checked our holding tank and other things to make sure all is well. Super nice guys! By the way, I had gotten a call back from Farm Supply at 9:00am and they said they might be able to get someone out later today or tomorrow! No thanks! Have known the Filipponi family for years. So when I needed to have a new well drilled I immediately contacted them. They provided a quote quickly and put me on their schedule. Got a call on Tuesday of this week and on Wednesday morning they were at my site at 8 am and quickly set up and drilling. Greg knew the area and was able to provide a reasonable depth recommendation and estimated flow rate. Within 8 hours they had my well drilled, casing installed, and the well tested. Greg was right on the money on everything but the flow rate...mine was double his estimate. To say these guys are professional and efficient is an extreme understatement. These people are honest and will sell you only what you need...if you don't need a new well, they will fix and repair your pump or whatever the problem is. They got a giant new well rig, and when our neighbors needed a new well they were quoted a price 10K less than when they'd asked a year or two before, because the new rig is apparently much quicker and time is money. How's that for an ethical company that wants to help its customers? They've always been polite and professional when we've needed repairs done, and if we ever need a new well these are the only guys I'd call in Paso Robles. read more
