As an American, when I hear a restaurant put the word "American" in their name, I can't help but…read morehave high expectations of the place. It's a newly opened place, and they've definitely made sure to have really nice decor! I love the style they've chosen and it's really cozy to sit and have a meal. With that said though, I think they spent too much time worrying about the decor and didn't take enough time trying to perfect their menu. I immediately noticed typos on their menu, which really isn't a big deal but with how nice the place looks i'd think they may want to fix those errors. I thought I'd try a burger since that's pretty classic and they do have burger in their name. I ordered their texas burger and my boyfriend got what they call small ribs. When the food arrived I couldn't help but just say "Wow" to the burger. It was huge and had a whole chili on top of the burger. It definitely looked gorgeous! Looks can be deceiving though.. The texas burger has a fried egg, bacon & onion rings on it. How could it possibly go wrong? Well, the fried egg was so overcooked that it was almost rubbery and the onion rings were completely undercooked and doughy (not crispy). The burger patty was really poor quality (It was so smushed together that it made it really rubbery and gives it no texture). My boyfriend though his meal was ok. The meat was tender but the meat wasn't falling off the bone as ribs should in his opinion. There was unfortunately too much BBQ sauce on the ribs as well so it overpowered the ribs (BBQ sauce was too sweet as well). We both got potato wedges with our meal though (Ribs normally come with a baked potato) and they were pretty good. Pretty much the only thing I actually liked, and that's not enough to come back to a place. I know this place is new, so I hope they take the time to perfect their menu.

The menu has a selection of meat and burgers (hence the name) but there's also salads and children's menu. Had the ribeye with potatoes and it was well cooked and tasty. There's room for improvement, but hey it's opening week and I'll definitely give it a go again later this year.

I made my first visit at Tribeca NV yesterday evening. Online we had seen, that there were lots of…read moretables this night, so we didn't book anything. When we came, half of the tables were free. Despite that fact, the girl working there had a hard time to find us a table and it really seemed hard to fit us in. When seated, we waited for 30 minutes for the menu. It were still just half full (or half empty!). We finally got it, and then had to wait far too long for them taking our orders as well. While waiting, they managed to serve two of the tables next to us the wrong dishes. When ordering, we asked questions about the wine on the menu. "Is this rosé sweet?". "I don't know, I've never tasted it" said the waitress, knowing absolutely nothing about the wines in the menu. That's definitely not okay on a restaurant like this one. The food (when we finally got it) was fine. Not spectacular in any way, but okay. When we finally left, the waitress had to ask us to tell her all the things we had during the night, because they hadn't written it down properly. I loved the setting at Tribeca NV, and really think a space like this has potential. But so-and-so-food and the most terrible service I've experienced at a restaurant in Copenhagen just destroy all the potential. I will definitely not visit again.

It's hidden away up in Nordvest, and there isn't really anything else around it. Then you come into this great oasis of a restaurant with a cute patio, awesome interiors, and amazing food! They carry Cline wine from Sonoma, and they have the old vine Zinfandel which is super yummy! We had the Tribeca Pizza and the lamb meatballs with spaghetti. Wow. Great flavor! And you can tell it was made with love. This is an Italian restaurant that knows it's stuff. I highly recommend this little gem up north. It's a bit out of the city if you are visiting, but definitely worth the hike!
