I made my first visit at Tribeca NV yesterday evening. Online we had seen, that there were lots of…read moretables this night, so we didn't book anything. When we came, half of the tables were free. Despite that fact, the girl working there had a hard time to find us a table and it really seemed hard to fit us in. When seated, we waited for 30 minutes for the menu. It were still just half full (or half empty!). We finally got it, and then had to wait far too long for them taking our orders as well. While waiting, they managed to serve two of the tables next to us the wrong dishes. When ordering, we asked questions about the wine on the menu. "Is this rosé sweet?". "I don't know, I've never tasted it" said the waitress, knowing absolutely nothing about the wines in the menu. That's definitely not okay on a restaurant like this one. The food (when we finally got it) was fine. Not spectacular in any way, but okay. When we finally left, the waitress had to ask us to tell her all the things we had during the night, because they hadn't written it down properly. I loved the setting at Tribeca NV, and really think a space like this has potential. But so-and-so-food and the most terrible service I've experienced at a restaurant in Copenhagen just destroy all the potential. I will definitely not visit again.

I give this place an extra star because of the shock value, and they carry one of my favorite wines…read morefrom Sonoma Valley! It's hidden away up in Nordvest, and there isn't really anything else around it. Then you come into this great oasis of a restaurant with a cute patio, awesome interiors, and amazing food! They carry Cline wine from Sonoma, and they have the old vine Zinfandel which is super yummy! We had the Tribeca Pizza and the lamb meatballs with spaghetti. Wow. Great flavor! And you can tell it was made with love. This is an Italian restaurant that knows it's stuff. I highly recommend this little gem up north. It's a bit out of the city if you are visiting, but definitely worth the hike!

This was some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. I found the cafe on Yelp after the visiting the…read moreParliament tower (great view and it's free!) as it is a block away. Part of the appeal of the cafe is the overall atmosphere. The cafe in a few steps down from the street in a cozy space. Benches with throw pillows line the walls with art and plants that brighten the space. There are a few two chair tables that line the street as well. The owner is a lovely, friendly women from San Fransisco. She makes the cheesecake from scratch. She and her partner were both there during my visit and checked in to make sure all of the customers were enjoying what they ordered. I appreciated the interaction and that they cared whether I liked the cake. The cheesecake is served plain with a side of your choice of fruit sauce. I had the cherry cinnamon and it was incredible. I liked that the sauce was served on the side as it allowed you to choose the amount (though it's so good you will finish it one way or another. Apparently some people have been observed drinking what is left). The rest of the menu is fairly basic: salads, sandwiches and burritos. Considering the prices in Copenhagen, theirs were reasonable for a full sized meal (based on the other reviewer's photos). I only stopped for dessert, based on how good the cheesecake was, I would have liked to try one of the other items. High recommendation!

Not much of a difference since CPH is freezing these days but the cake may be a bit mushed depending on your commute since the plastic box isn't a snug fit. **Tip: there is a credit card fee. Cheesecake quality: at 50kr, it's definitely steep for the smaller size. But the cheesecake still tasted divine even after the 30min commute home. It comes with several sauce options, though the owner recommended the raspberry. The cheesecake was packed full of taste without it though, so not a worry! My favorite part is the bottom crumb base. Most cheesecakes are bland or too hard for the fork to get through, but this was soft enough and flavorful that I had every last crumb. The cheesecake itself had a mouthwatering texture that melted in my mouth. TLDR: Pricey but I'd do it again.

We came here around 9:30 on a Thursday expecting not to need a reservation .. it's 9:30 on a…read moreThursday! - but when we got there, the host said we got the last unbooked table. Once we got our food, we understood why so many people come. This was without a doubt the best meal we had in Copenhagen. All the dishes were simple, elegant, and focused on the wholesome ingredients. The eggs. THE EGGS! Never would I have thought that scrambled eggs with ketchup would blow my mind like this did. Other big stand-outs were the avocado, asparagus, and homemade bread. My spouse had the chicken nuggets and lost his shit. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Copenhagen. And get a reservation!

Three or four stars? It's a tough question when it comes to this place but I end up giving it four…read morestars instead. Why did I even consider three? - It's a trendy place so there were lots and lots of people there when we tried our brunch there on a Sunday morning. Although we didn't have to wait long for our table, online table booking would have been more convenient. Seriously, what's up with these brunch places - you can be strict and say you would hold table for 15 minutes only and I am sure people would appreciate that. - Noise level was absolutely bad, see #1. It's a big open place inside and since there were lots of people and they were all talking, we could hardly have a conversation inside, let alone hygge, but fortunately the food was good enough of a distraction - Super greasy bacon. Seriously, if you claim to be a brunch place, do your bacon right. I like the smokey flavour but the shit was literally dripping with oil. Kinda disgusting to pick up from the plate and now for the positive sides: I love that there are more and more brunch places with this concept where you mix and match your own stuff. All the stuff they had in their menu (would like to try the asparagus but they didn't have that!) sounded so scrumptious that we felt like we had to try it all and we did (almost all). My personal favourites would be the soft-boiled egg and the waffle, although Mina K also swore by the sunny side up egg (spejlæg). The item that I was looking forward the most (avocado) turned out to be a big disappointment. More flavour please. Although there were so many people on that day, the service was very prompt and efficient, we got our table relatively fast considering that there were 6 names ahead of us and the food came quick too. My cortado was delicious although it was somewhat weak. All in all, service was quick and painless. I might want to try this place again on a not weekend morning, or maybe later in the afternoon when there's more relaxed atmosphere around this place. Sunday morning brunch gave us bad vibes since they were a lot of people waiting to get their brunch and the stressed out waiters and waitresses didn't help. Four for now and I really hate to degrade my review. I hope it never will come to that.

This is hot, new business! Do not look for a appetizer in…read morehere! In BOSTON GRILL they don't offer any. Why? Because they are confident in the size of their main course! And I tell you the size of main courses are big enough and if you are really hungry, there is a desert menu. They have really great meat. Why? Because the meat is hung in the fridge for one month, so when you grill it, it's perfectly tender and juicy! What a difference it makes. I usually don't comment about the interior so much, but now I have to! The interior is very modern, has a USA signature but with a CPH influence, fresh, trendy, nice layout with private sections, dominant materials are wood and red leather .... Really nice. What makes this place REALLY special in the fact that this place is run by O'LEARYS, which demonstrates a true feeling of teamwork. Cesar, a Spanish manager keeps workers happy and they take care of the business. I talked to most of the workers on their shift and everyone said, they are happy and that they feel lucky to be working there. I have much much more to add, but this review would be too long. Cesar invented cocktail 'passion fruit mule'! Definitely a Cocktail to go there for!!!!

As it turned out there weren't many for this location as they had just recently opened. Their 'sister' restaurants in Sweden, though, had quiet a few reviews, most all stellar. Though it was a bit pricey, I was craving a good rib-eyes, so we cleaned up a bit and off we went. Though there is a formal street side entrance for the Boston Grill Mayfair, it is actually the restaurant for the Hotel Mayfair and shares a common patio with the hotel. If you enter from the street, they greet you at the entrance and escort you back past the bar to their main dinning area. It was still a bit early by European standards, so the dinning areas were sparse with customers. OK by us though as the service was prompt and attentive. As planned, I ordered the rib-eye, but not as planned, they offered a larger cut which was 'suitable for sharing' which is exactly what we did. They split the sides in the kitchen on two separate plates and let us carve out our own portions of the main course. It was cooked just to our order, tender and juicy. One of the best rib-eye's I've had in awhile. I would definitely recommend it!

Ranked as the 6th best burger in the world by Food and Wine magazine in 2024 ("Organic beef…read morecheeseburger with onions, pickles, and a house Gasoline Sauce. $16 "), the Gasoline Grill hamburger restaurant has multiple locations throughout Denmark. It's one of those things where I was glad I stopped by, but didn't really experience anything with the food or ambiance that would make me recommend this as a out-of-the way stop that the ranking would seem to suggest. This one is the original, using the station building as a walk-up window with the kitchen inside. They have a few picnic tables on the side for outdoor dining, and I do think that it's important to eat the burger as soon as possible. The interesting thing is that it is still a working gas station, with an island with multiple pumps dispensing petrol (which I didn't see being used during my wait) and some electric charging stations (which was actively being used). I was able to place my order (nothing customized, just wanted exactly as they described after about a 10 minute wait, got my lemonade right away, and waited another 10 minutes to get my food (everything is made-to-order). The cheeseburger was 110 DKK, fries was 40, lemonade was 35, and dipping sauce was 10 with 10 off for being a combo. So total was 185 DKK (about $28.88 in USD). The process and food reminded me very much of a Shake Shack, with the young workers working together to produce well-made smashburgers using great ingredients. The color scheme reminds me of a Wingstop, though. I squeezed between a couple of single diners and dug in. The burger was good, with that loose smash burger quality. It came with a mayo based thousand island like sauce (their gasoline sauce), and had tomato, pickles, red onion slices, and a gooey, plentiful cheese. The lemonade was good, and the hint of elderflower made it memorable. The crinkle fries were good, well done fried which I appreciate. Ate the meal fast before my hands started to freeze up, tossed the remains in the gas station islands garbage bin and was on my way. I really do think a food like this is all about where you eat it...if on an airplane, or at a ballpark, or at the beach...yeah, I could see the appeal. But at a gas station in freezing weather on a picnic table...not so much.

The bun held up beautifully without getting soggy, and the fries on the side were crispy and golden. You can tell they really care about quality ingredients here. It's the kind of spot where you can hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and not feel rushed. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly, quick with recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without hovering. Everything came out promptly, and you could see they genuinely wanted customers to have a good experience.
