I got the beef burger (other choices include 2 types of veggie burgers or a fried chicken burger) and swapped out the bun for some lettuce. My burger actually arrived on an impressive amount of lettuce, which made it more of a salad. Very fresh greens, too. The burger and toppings were all delicious, with a nicely cooked medium rare patty, perfectly cooked bacon and a tasty remoulade. The fries and homemade ketchup were equally pleasing. Service was quick and friendly, and menus are available in English. Wine, beer and a full bar make this a good dinner destination. The interior is quite large and decorated in a fun way, with 3 full floors and lots of comfortable banquet seating.

I'm from the US and would call it the same as In n Out or Shake Shack- It's genuinely the same thing but if you add on tik tok glaze apparently that costs you an extra five bucks. it's fine but just get a hot dog on the street for a third of the price... you get the same result: good but not great. Service WAS GREAT though, cannot knock them on that. Unfortunately it's just an American meal made by non-Americans, save your money.

It's one of those things where I was glad I stopped by, but didn't really experience anything with the food or ambiance that would make me recommend this as a out-of-the way stop that the ranking would seem to suggest. This one is the original, using the station building as a walk-up window with the kitchen inside. They have a few picnic tables on the side for outdoor dining, and I do think that it's important to eat the burger as soon as possible. The interesting thing is that it is still a working gas station, with an island with multiple pumps dispensing petrol (which I didn't see being used during my wait) and some electric charging stations (which was actively being used). I was able to place my order (nothing customized, just wanted exactly as they described after about a 10 minute wait, got my lemonade right away, and waited another 10 minutes to get my food (everything is made-to-order). The cheeseburger was 110 DKK, fries was 40, lemonade was 35, and dipping sauce was 10 with 10 off for being a combo. So total was 185 DKK (about $28.88 in USD). The process and food reminded me very much of a Shake Shack, with the young workers working together to produce well-made smashburgers using great ingredients. The color scheme reminds me of a Wingstop, though. I squeezed between a couple of single diners and dug in. The burger was good, with that loose smash burger quality. It came with a mayo based thousand island like sauce (their gasoline sauce), and had tomato, pickles, red onion slices, and a gooey, plentiful cheese. The lemonade was good, and the hint of elderflower made it memorable. The crinkle fries were good, well done fried which I appreciate. Ate the meal fast before my hands started to freeze up, tossed the remains in the gas station islands garbage bin and was on my way. I really do think a food like this is all about where you eat it...if on an airplane, or at a ballpark, or at the beach...yeah, I could see the appeal. But at a gas station in freezing weather on a picnic table...not so much.

The service was great, very attentive and fast, which is always a huge bonus, especially when you're a bit drunk... I am not totally sold on their cheese chips/fries only because the cheese wasn't melted enough, but man did it make for some fantastic drunk food! I had it with salsa which I mixed some of the chili sauce on the table into to cut through the cheese, and it was pretty damn good. I wasn't hungry enough for a burger too, so cheese chips/fries was all I ordered. I'll be back to try an actual burger one of these days as they have both vegan and vegetarian patties. It's also halal and can serve paleo buns consisting of portobello mushrooms, so it's a pretty big win-win for everybody.

We ordered from the sweet lady behind the counter and she had the food packed and ready to go shortly after. Since it was such a nice day, we took our paper bag to Assistens Kirkegård. Everything was nicely packed and didn't shift around at all in our short walk. I went with the Mohammed Ali which comes with double cheese, double bacon, pickles, and fried onions as well as the usual salad and tomatoes. The burger was wrapped in paper and also put in a paper box to keep it safe. Unfortunately I'd forgotten to ask for the beef to be cooked medium rare, but surprisingly it still tasted great. The whole wheat bun was a little dry but had a nice, nutty flavour. Cheese was perfectly melted and though the bacon was not crispy, it was a good burger as a whole. On Monday to Friday the meal price is 89 dkk after 4pm and the lunch special before that is 69 dkk. It includes fries and dip. This is great for those of us who don't normally like soda or would rather have a beer with it, as the drink is not included in the price. The fries were fine and as for the dip, well, I just wanted ketchup. I spooned a little bit of chili paste into the cup of ketchup before I left, so that perked things up a bit. I like that your meal can be so customizable here, much like Halifax, only Burgerklubben seems to execute it better and at a lower price. In addition to serving only halal meat, they also offer vegan and vegetarian patties, as well as portobello mushrooms for a paleo "bun," so everyone can enjoy food together. I'll definitely swing by here again!
