We stumbled past the storefront while walking on a food tour or Reykjavik (something you MUST try), and the exterior was so inviting that we made a note that we needed to return. The inside is fun and vibrant. The ROYGBIV bookshelf bar counter is pleasing to the eyes, and the jet red chairs and chairs and lamp shades give a vibe of a cozy yet trendy coffee shop. The food was incredible and was affordable. You should definitely try one of the local beers. I'm not lying when I say, Iceland Beer is some of the best beer I have ever had, and I'm bummed you can't find it in the states. Viking beer was my absolute favorite. This location was very welcoming and the staff extremely hospitable. It's also located in the heart of Reykjavik. It's a must try place if you find yourself in the land of Fire & Ice! Cheers!!

I get extremely paranoid when traveling about running out of clean clothes. So a few days into our stay in Scandinavia, I was already looking to clean some clothes. After some research on "montvask " places in Copenhagen, I found the Laundromat cafe. The guy was nice to instruct on the use of the machine. It only takes 10 DKK coins and the soap comes out of the machine so I was relieved because I did not bring any detergent. The cashier was nice to give me change. The wash is 50 DKK and the dry cycle was 10 DKK for 7 minutes. I had a small load and it is a huge dryer so it took my clothes only 7 minutes to dry anyways. While waiting for the laundry to finish, you can sit inside and enjoy the free internet. Or you can eat in the cafe. We did not try the food as I wanted to try next door's food which I bookmarked via Yelp. There are also boutique shops to peruse while waiting for your laundry.

I love concept restaurants, and finding American diners in Europe always makes me happy. Therefore,…read moreI was really excited to try the Greasy Spoon. However, both times I've been there to eat I was disappointed. They have the look down - big booths and a long shiny counter with comfy red barstools. The food is just not at all memorable. The menu consists of mainly burgers, sliders and other sandwiches, but they also do brunch and mac and cheese among other things. I tried a burger the first time I went and I wouldn't order it again. Copenhagen has so many great burger places that this is not where you go if that's what you're after. The second time I came for brunch and had pancakes and an egg and cheese slider, which were nothing more than OK (I mixed and matched, although they have 4 or 5 set brunch menus that you can order). Again, there are many cool brunch places in Copenhagen that blow this one out of the water. What I can really recommend though are the milkshakes, which is why I gave the restaurant 3 stars instead of 2. They are to die for delicious!! Me and my boyfriend have been back 2 or 3 times since just to have them again. So if you're in the mood for a decadent milkshake in a cute diner setting, Greasy Spoon is worth it. For the food, not so much.

Lucky us, we quickly found this little place with two sunny seats available outside. We actually didn't understand the whole menu, so we picked up two different meals and two different beverages hoping for the best :) We could probably have asked the waitress but we felt like being wild. Anyway, the pulled pork sandwich was tasty and a little bit spicy, and I really enjoyed the sort of omelette with some ham, cheese, potatoes and tomatoes. It was absolutely not dry and simply delicious. The both plates were generous enough to skip the dessert, but I could come back another time to try their milkshakes !

The fried chicken was delicious; moist and perfectly crispy with a breading that wasn't too heavy. The downside... the pricing. Lunch for two will cost you nearly $100 USD. A "large" Coca Cola will cost approximately $10 USD. Price is a big shock factor in many places in Scandinavia. Overall I give Price's Diner four stars out of five.

Often I end up in Tivoli late afternoon or early night, so I have to find a place to eat. Eventhough Tivoli is packed with restaurants, it can be difficult to find a vacancy for dinner around 6 to 8, or you just want classic fast food. I ate here with my girlfriend, and we shared a portion of hush puppies for a starter. They were delicious, sweet and just a bit spicy. We also shared a bottle of rosé wine, it was one of those not to sweet easy to drink types. And price was okay, just below 200 dkr.. Tap water for free. Offcause we wanted burgers. I got the Jucy Lucy, and it was jucy with sauté orions and lovely homemade pickled cucumbers. My girlfriend got the cheese burger, and it was jucy with good fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and lots of the lovely homemade pickled cucumbers again. Maybe one of the buns was I bit to dry, because it crumbled up, if you wanted to eat the burgers with your hands. Yes, fork and knife it not an option, when you eat burgers. We shared a big fries and onion rings. Both fries and onions were homemade and great crispy. As dip we had tartar sauce and bearnaise mayo, and the were both good. My girlfriend is a rocky road fan, so she had a rocky road sundae and I got the salted caramel one. We were totally full and happy, when we left the diner, and it was just a bit more than 700 dkr.. The service is a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday. They did their out most to accommodate your needs. The location in the middle of Tivoli is perfect. Next time I got to try the chicken wings, they looked good.
