Was very disappointed to see how little this shop cares for the health of its customers and personnel. Went there and NO ONE was wearing a mask -- and if there is anyone else shopping in this tiny store, it's more or less impossible to keep your distance. They don't even have barriers at the checkout, so one if forced to get very close to an unmasked employee to make a purchase. My dog loves bones, but I will find another place to get them from now on. It's businesses like this that will drive us to another spike in covid cases. read more

This is how you do good business! Polite and friendly staff who are great at what they do. We were helped by Lauren who listened to what we needed and made some great recommendations. We are no strangers to feeding raw but have been out of the game for awhile. Lauren set us up with a week's worth of food for our aging German Shepherd who is battling cancer and had quit eating her kibble and canned food. We had given her some raw chicken which she ate so we decided to go back to full raw. We got chicken backs, chicken hearts, goat's milk, and some other organ meat. They have it already pre-packaged if you don't want to get your hands dirty, or you can buy in bulk like we did and portion it our yourself. She took our dog's weight and advised us how much of each ingredient to use. It will help to have a cheap kitchen scale for this as well as some plastic containers (HEB brand ones are perfect). We are hopeful that this new diet will help make her final days a bit easier. If you're curious about the benefits of feeding raw, I urge you to stop by Bones2Go and speak with their staff. Wow. I'm impressed! Our dog has been struggling to find a dog food that didn't cause him to have an allergic reaction and/or chew his feet, rub his face after eating etc. We spent thousands of dollars on Vet bills and RC exotic prescription food to minimal avail. I had heard about raw diets and felt like we had nothing to lose at this point. He has been on raw food for one month now and is doing awesome. Yeasty smell is nearly all gone, not breaking out any more and is finally gaining weight. This place has a great selection and a very knowledgeable staff. A year in on this stuff and my 9 year old bichon "Marvin" has been risen from the dead! Both Marvin & Maggie, my gdoodle, are absolutely thriving. Their teeth are sparkling white & their coats are shiny & full. I'm now a lifelong convert & believer if raw, even though my vet warns me otherwise. Proof is in the pudding- they're missing that $2K a year in teeth cleaning & allergy & sick visits. When we run out of food (can never seem to remember this place is closed on Mondays!), and I'm forced to feed them counterfeit, within a day I am reminded of why we drive and shell out the dough. They become sluggish but the most visible evidence is the amount of crap that comes out their bodies! Unbelievable how much of that type of "food" is unusable! Go RAW! read more

Went here for the first time today and was not disappointed! You walk in and you are automatically greeted and ask if you need help. They have a lot of stuff (treats, raw foods, toys, leashes) to choose from. The only thing was that they didn't had the dry dog food we needed but they said they could order it for us and pick it up when it comes in or have it deliver to us which we might do that because we ended up getting raw food to mix with dry food that the lady recommended that it is better than using can foods. Will definitely be back!!! read more

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on this business as they're wonderful. They're only 20 minutes from downtown and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about pet nutrition. Bones 2 Go has all of the best raw, freeze dried, dehydrated and even grain-free/high protein kibble. They also have some cool treats like salmon skin bones. read more

The BEST raw food store for your pets! Huge variety and selection. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to answer any question you have. With their help I finally got my cats eating raw food. The variety of different meat proteins is amazing!! Freezers and freezers just full of goodies for your pets. Meat, bones, organs, recreational bones, treats, toys, beds, leashes, collars, grooming supplies, supplements, the list goes on and on. You can get a discount if you refer a friend. You can also make a special appointment for a Monday to shop (the store is normally closed on Mondays). This place is a raw feeders dream! And they can deliver too!! Can it get any better? I thought the prices seemed high but walked out when I saw a package of whole quail for $18 - the exact same package I see around town in butchers and ethnic grocery stores, the best price being $9 at H Mart. The prices on brand name packaged dog food seemed only a little higher than elsewhere in town. They have a huge selection of their own non-brand name food and the prices were low...which given the pricing on the other items makes me suspect they're using rendered meat (animals that didn't pass USDA inspection - diseases, too many steroids, roadkill. To make sure this meat never ends up in the human food supply, it goes through a rendering process where they spray nasty carcinogenic chemicals on it). My recommendation is only buy the brand name foods here (you have to be careful and do your research because a lot of these companies are using rendered meat too). If you want a whole raw meaty bone go to the butcher or Asian grocery store. read more

be cautious of this hole on the wall tin roof building. very hidden! what from and why? no signs advertising where they are. also when asked questions about where they buy there meats, they will not give me a straight up answer. i was told that the turkey meat is turkey meat because they type it on the label and paste it on the container, that's how i know. REALLY?!! who knows, may be dead cats and dogs from china, euthanized pets, road kill, idk. taking my business else where. also, drew used to work there, she has the best customer service and has earned my trust. went there today and she no longer works there. i don't blame her for quitting. the boss is a mean ole scrooge! she hates answering question for new customers on raw feeding. be cautious people! read more

Love this place!!! Very knowledgable staff! It is kind of a hidden gem because they are behind a shopping center but trust me when you walk in the environment is great! If you have a new puppy just let them know and they will be able to set u up with some samples. I know my little pup was a picky eater and we have to make sure he has no grains in his food so it really helped to be able to try out different flavors for him so we know what he likes and what he doesn't. read more
