I'll start out by saying I was in Orlando for work. I came here for dinner by myself and sat at the bar. The service was pretty good. Both bartenders were friendly and did a pretty good job. The food was disappointing. I ordered the Butterfish off the specials menu, a Cesar salad, and the garlic mash (as my sides). the Cesar came out first and tasted fine but as I started picking through it, I realized that there were many pieces of lettuce in there that were (shall we say) "well past wilted". I don't like to complain so I just picked through it and left what I thought was either inedible or unappetizing. To be very honest, I am really having a hard time fathoming how an establishment that touts itself as an "upscale chain" would even allow food of this quality to reach a customer. Just terrible. The entree arrived a few minutes after and looked pretty good. I had never had Butterfish before. The menu touted it as being similar to sea bass. I don't know what crack smoker came up with this analogy, but if you associate seabass with a grey, mushy, greasy style of fish, then, yeah.....I guess they really nailed it. One bite and I quickly realized that it was severely undercooked. I broke the fillet open to find it was still raw in the center. One of the bartenders was diligent enough to notice and came over to see what was wrong. They apologized and took away my plate. Not a big deal. I understand that these things will happen occasionally. My food came back a few minutes later. A fresh plate, fresh Potatoes, and a Crapload of sauce on the fillet. At least it was piping hot. As I started back into the fish, I realized they had returned my original fillet to me that they reheated. They piled a lot of sauce over the top in an attempt to apparently hide the recycling. I guess the fish was too expensive to just start over with another fillet as any decent restaurant would normally do. This meal and a coffee totalled 37+ dollars before the tip. I would say that was a lot considering the experience. Epilogue: I am back at my hotel and have been blasting the inside of my toilet a milky shade of brown for the last two hours. This restaurant really needs to do a lot better than this. I am really upset with myself for wasting my money and calories here. read more

I've been going to Bonefish Grill for years. After getting up at 3:30am my time and flying all day I was ready for a decent meal. This place was conveniently located by the airport. I like BG, it one of my preferred restaurants. This place was on point!!! I had the best food I've had at any restaurant in a long time. I started my week off here while out of town. I went to another BG just tonight- as chance would have it, there was one right next to the hotel I was staying at. This place blew the one I went to tonight out of the water!!! I had the filet with lobster thermidor sauce as did my spouse and we shared the sashimi. We also had house salads. Steaks were cooked perfectly! Again, it was all on point!!! read more

We chose Bonefish for lunch since it was close to our hotel. After arriving, I went to the restroom while my wife ordered drinks. The walk to the facilities was very slippery. They had placed several anti-slip carpets on the floor to address this issue but the bathroom floor itself was almost like standing on sheet ice. The fish and chips were horrible. Cooking oil was dripping from the filets and soaked the paper lining in the serving basket. French fries were heavily salted. I was surprised by the poor quality of food. The waitress was kind and attentive but the fish should have been cooked at a higher temperature to avoid oil saturation. They can do better! read more

Everything was fresh and delicious . I do however wish with the Parmesan crusted trout came with more seasoning or a sauce that went over the trout and mash potatoes . It needed more seasoning. Yeah it's a chain. But we were staying near the airport and this was close by. It provided an enjoyable meal. The server was super experienced and friendly. He gave us his opinion on thigns and that's always appreciated when it's helpful and correct. Ultimately, I had a tuna bowl and the fish was cooked perfectly. We had heard good reviews about Bonefish Grill Restaurants. We were really surprised at our experience. The alcoholic drinks were good. The warm fresh bread with herb dipping oil was great. Then came the entrees. The Imperial Cod was bland and tasted frozen. The crab cake with the steak was tiny and had little flavor. The steak was good. The side of mashed potato was also bland, but better than the fish. The coleslaw was high in vinegar. The service was good. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. Service was a bit slow. The menu was somewhat limited and confusing. We had questions but based on the speed of service we opted to the dinner for 2. The salad was house garden. Strange that it had Greek olives and white beets. The Bang Bang Shrimp had the potential but the amount of sauce was a bit much overpowering the shrimp almost completely. Was going to order cocktails but waited so long that the moment was gone. That's the theme here....wait a looong time. The main course took the longest. (The place was 70% empty) The food comes and we have to guess what's what because it was dropped off followed by another disappearing act. We know there was salmon, shrimp, and scallops but the rest was a mystery. The only flavor in fish were the stuff they put on too it. Honestly, the actual fish was bland and flavorless, almost indistinguishable from the others in the dish. I literally could not swallow much less stomach then scallops and I was done. They offered to redo acknowledging our experience. As long as we had to wait....we politely declined and offered to pay for the salad and appetizer. They refused politely and we left. Down in Orlando for another work conference and this place was suggested by a local business associate and there was so much YES!!!! To this dinner. The meeting started off with the mandatory Capn Morgan's of course easy enough to find but served with a smile. They have a warm bread and dippy sauce stuff that they bring to the table and it too is quite tasty. Appetizers ordered in order of awesome 1 - Imperial Dip ...cheese, crab and shrimps....need I say more. 2 - Ahi Tuna prepared well and for sure enough to share 3 - Potstickers......good portion for sharing with everyone else cause these were not my thing....not bad just not for me. Dinner ordered - Round 2 of Capns while waiting. I ordered the Imperial Cod and OMG where has this been all my life......seriously I'm not a baked fish (I think) person....Cod filet, stuffed with shrimp and lump crab meat, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese....then that's topped with some lemon butter awesomesauce. Sides - Asparagus - phenomenal, tender and tasty. Bacon Mac - this was good however I don't think it was a good pairing for this dish as it's quite heavy and the rest of the meal was surprisingly light. On it own it would have been magic.... Had an excellent day. My Grandparents were visiting and wanted some lobster. Found an excellent advertisement on their homepage for a $20, three course lobster lunch and was not disappointed at all. I expected the plaza and restaurant to be crowded but was greeted with a calm half empty lunch time atmosphere. The waiter, Dom came over was informative, friendly and helped my six year old daughter feel welcomed. Starting with the coconut shrimp and calamari were great choices. The shrimp was cooked with care the coconut crust was crisp but moist, not dry or burnt as some other places do. It's accompanying sauce a mixture of sweet chili that complimented it well. The calamari was seasoned lightly so you could taste the various flavors flowing with the fresh taste of the food itself. Then came the meals. The Cesar salad was average but tasty. The lobster was not huge, I mean for a $20 meal I can't expect the world, but it was cooked well, and made fresh none of that frozen and unfrozen after taste. I had the mashed garlic potatoes and veggie sides. Both was cooked just right preserving the refreshing taste for the veggies and garlic deliciousness in the potatoes. Lastly to wrap up the meal was a slice of cheese cake which hit the spot perfectly completing the meal. By itself the cheesecake was not notable but to wrap up the meal it was a must, fulfilling your sweet tooth and giving you one last cool blast before you trot back into the summer heat. This plaza is close to the airport surrounded by other flavorful restaurants that have not disappointed me yet. We've been coming to this bonefish for YEARS. It's the perfect halfway spot for me to meet my parents for dinner. We also love the restaurant kitty. Tonight, they have now lost consistent local customers. We typically arrive around 5:30 and always get two house merlots (myself & my dad) and a house chard for my mom, try and catch another round before happy hour ends at 6:30 while enjoying an appetizer. We arrived a bit later around 5:50. We ordered our wines and the waitress asked 6 or 9oz. To be honest, I don't think anyone has every asked us that on happy hour. Granted we were NOT expecting the 9oz wine to be $6. Before 6:30, it'd had been maybe only 5 minutes since our waitress dropped off our bang bang shrimp, but I wanted to catch her so I walked inside and said can we order another round before happy hour ends She said of course. (She was very very sweet, I really enjoyed her customer service) our mains came out beautifully. My parents got 2 wines off happy hour (my mom also upgrades to the Kendall Jackson after happy hour) and I got 1 glass after happy hour. The check came and all the wines were full price. ($11.90) I asked about it, the waitress that I LOVED said oh the 9oz isn't on happy hour. I mean for being in the service industry (and honestly this is the only chain restaurant I will go to) just screams shady to me. I inquired more because I went inside to ask for another round before happy hour and I mean if that isn't a dead give away? I'm not one to post many bad reviews more of want to take the time to highlight awesome service industry workers but when Steven the manager came out, that's when we all have said we will never return again. I said we arrived during happy hour, we've been here so many times and I explained honestly that no one has ever asked me 6 or 9 oz on happy hour and I'm not expecting it to be $6 but for one I never even look at the menu anymore (tired to order the creamed spinach without croutons with my Lilly's chicken that they no longer have) but your QR code doesn't even state anything about size. (Investigating) He literally questioned me and said "you've been here so many times but you've never been asked 6 or 9oz?" Tried explaining to me that happy hour ends at 6:30. He was extremely combative and left me feeling like he thought I was lying about being repeat customers? They took off 1 wine for me and they took off the bang bang shrimp on my parents check but essentially they are trying to charge $5.90 extra for 3 more ounces when the happy hour price for house wines is $6. Which they still charged my parents. I'm kind of in shock of how the manager spoke to me. The waitress could have definitely easily explained this to us before and ESPECIALLY when I went in and asked for another round before happy hour ended but outside of that she was really really great. We sat outside at the first table on the left once you get under the overhead covering. 9/13 at 5:50 if big boss would like to fact check my story since the manager seems to think I was lying? I stopped here on my last night in Orlando, and its proximity to many hotels and the airport are fantastic. Its in a small plaza with several other stores and restaurants. It was a bit chilly outside when we came for dinner on a Tuesday night, so we opted to sit inside. They looked moderately busy, but a party of 4 was able to be seated right away at 7pm. The drinks menu look pretty delicious, and I opt for the Ocean Trust Tropic Heat Martini. I like my drinks with a bit of spice to them, and the jalapeno on this vodka martini gave it a nice mild heat. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't very strong, so it ended up being more juice with a splash of vodka. For dinner, I had the special item, Kate's Wild North Atlantic Salmon, with a side of green beans and mash potatoes. The haddock was very good! The fish was succulent and well seasoned and the sides were a nice accompaniment. I would definitely recommend this dish to others. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with our trip to Bonefish. We were headed to MCO & had some time to kill. So since we had time to grab some grub, we decided to stop in at Bonefish and get a bite. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp. Always a fun dish to share. I went with the espresso martini since a good friend of mine raved about them & I get it; so delicious. For my entree I opted for one of the seasonal specials of scallops with a side of spinach. Life is about balance after all. The scallops had a great sear on them and were so buttery soft as I sliced through them. Was sad as I got to the last one. Service was on point & the waiter always happened to appear right when we needed him. This little strip offers a lot of options for food, so I'll definitely have to remember it the next time I'm passing through. read more

I was seated next to the hostess stand. The phone was turned up full blast. So all of the incoming calls were annoying. They had 2 people and sometimes 3 standing near the phones but did not do anything to turn the ring down. I mentioned it to the waitress and she just said yeah. My crab cakes dinner came out in 3 minutes. They were small and full of breadcrumbs. The coleslaw was good and I got about 2 tablespoons of rice. I asked the waitress if they stopped serving bread because she did not serve any. She brought me a hard loaf to go. Not good. This was one of our favorite restaurants. The server never checked on us or made suggestions. Their bread was not the usual warm sour dough with butter. The Caesar salads were good but everything else was literally gross. Inedible "Gnocchi", over cooked salmon, mushy pad Thai. Our kids request Bonefish Grill often. I even gave away their gift cards as holiday gifts last year. I worked at a Bonefish Grill for three years and know the food and quality expectations very well. I come to this one for lunch once in awhile since it's by my work and have had a decent experience each time, not to the personable extent the company hopes and trains for but still good. This is one of their busiest locations being adjacent to the airport so if your coming for dinner, I highly recommend making a reservation, they go on a wait often. Lunch portions are pretty large, I would stick with the lunch specials or handhelds unless you want even more food and to spend more (they hand out the dinner menu as well). Ask for bread if you want it's complimentary upon request. My favorite thing on the menu is the mussels if you don't care about calorie intake, it's better with the bread then the pesto! They've got killer martinis, fresh juices or freshly muddled. read more

Today was the worse experience ever!!! From the moment we arrived it looked as if something was off. Phone ringing off the hook, everyone running around. We got seated at the bar area and after waiting for 10 minutes or so the waiter showed off. Took our drink order and left. Over 10 minutes, he brought the bread and left. Bread was cold and the plate was messy. Ten more minutes and nothing. I stopped a waitress to bring us warm bread and to please track our drinks since it's been over 20 minutes now. The waitress apologizes and out of nowhere the waiter shows up with our drinks. Never came back to refresh our order or to even ask if we were ok. We asked if we could place our order, which he did. Thankfully someone else brought the food to us. Nothing from our waiter. When he brought the bill, it was close to $50. I got his attention and he came back and I told him the bill was incorrect because we ordered from the happy hour menu. He said the special was not registered on his computer and left to correct the bill. 15 minutes later he shows up with the corrected bill. Got the attention from one of the managers so the waiter can close out our bill and more wait. The place wasn't busy but today was horrible!!! read more

This place has good food. Everything was surprisingly cooked very well! The Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster, Dayboat Scallops are easily rendered to "rubber" status at most places was cooked to perfection at this place... moist with a wonderful texture ...the Gnocchi with Lobster was also wonderful for that little carbo loading . The Key Lime Pie and Brownie desserts were also yummy if you're staying near the Orlando Airport and want to enjoy flavorful well cooked food... this place won't disappoint. Went to Bonefish today for Mother's Day. Took my mom my mother-in-law and we had a party of eight. I made sure to make reservations ahead of time because you know how the restaurants get on Mother's Day. We were seated immediately which is awesome but are seat was next to the bathroom and every time the door opened we could smell that sweet gross cherry bathroom deodorant smell that was very nauseating. We asked if we could be moved and we were moved immediately which is very nice. Our server was very cheerful and attentive. The restaurant was very busy and I was kind of chaotic in there but she really did her best to get to us as often as she could. They have a bottomless mimosa that you can get with brunch if you order brunch item of $10 or more. And you could switch it up between mimosas bellinis sangria and Bloody Mary's so you don't get stuck drinking the same thing. That's pretty good deal and I think it's $12 extra. I had the peach Bellini which was very very delicious. The Blackberry sangria was too sweets and pretty water down. The Bloody Marys were decent. I also had a cup of coffee. I must say the coffee was very excellent. A lot of times you go to restaurants on the coffee is weak but this was some good robust, strong coffee and I enjoyed it very much. I also got a Bang Bang Shrimp benedict with a side of augratin potatoes. My husband got the Oscar omelette which had asparagus and crab in it. He really enjoyed it and said I had lots of crab in it. My daughter had the California omelette which had avocados and tomatoes on it. She likes that pretty much too. My mother and mother-in-law both got the crab cake Rancheros which to me was the best thing on the menu. It was a crab cake with beans guacamole and some kind of chipotle sauce with some really good tortilla chips on the side to dip it all with. It was kind of strange to have it for breakfast but it was so tasty that I wish I had gotten it myself. The Bang Bang Shrimp Benedict is that got was okay. The shrimp or kind of cold when I got them. My au gratin potatoes were amazing as usual. Creamy cheesy high calorie goodness. My son got the popcorn shrimp off the kids menu with the augratin potatoes. He ate all his shrimp but did not like the potatoes but something with his pallet must be messed up because they're delicious. All in all it was a bang for your buck to go here for brunch instead of the crazy high price other places that have Mother's Day specials. We all had a very nice time and will be back. read more
