There are other entree options including grilled chicken , burger and fish and chips. The portions were large --a bit more than we could finish--and everything tasted fantastic. My wife and I stayed at the Renaissance and figured this was the best option for dinner. A 10 minute walk got us to the restaurant. The ambiance is nice and we were seated immediately with bread for the table soon after. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli and I ordered the wahoo imperial ( I think it was called) as well as a shrimp skewer. It took longer than expected as people around us that came in later were served before we were. My wife described her dish as flavorless pasta sitting in milk. She asked the waitress to take it away without finishing. My fish was overcooked and room temperature and I had to ask for my shrimp. The shrimp came 10 mins later. The waitress never asked how our meal was. I'm sure she knew we weren't happy. We hadn't been to a Bonefish in several years. This visit made us remember why. I've been to several Bonefish Grills and they are very consistent. Got here later than normal after picking my wife up at MCO. Got the Bang Bang Shrimp as always. Only downside is that it was super slow getting to us. Prett much when the meal arrived. Had a great last dinner in Florida at bonefish! It was very busy and lovely inside, but elevated ambiance without being too fancy. Our waiter was excellent, attentive, friendly, and very honest when we asked him his opinions on entrees when we were indecisive. The complimentary bread is always a huge hit, and we also got edamame as an appetizer which was delicious! For my entree I got the sirloin with chimichurri sauce, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. All were fab, the steak was perfectly cooked and the Brussels were soooo good!! I made a solo reservation for one for Bonefish Grill's 3-course brunch event ($40 per person), and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! There was plenty of free parking, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host. My server Damien was fantastic attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal. This was my first solo outing post-stroke, and I'll admit I was a little nervous, but the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere and friendly energy made me feel completely at ease. It was nice to see other guests enjoying solo brunches too it made the whole experience feel welcoming and safe. Now, the food everything on the menu was delicious! The Pickled Crab Deviled Eggs were such a fun start, the Shrimp & Grits were perfectly seasoned, and the Crème Brûlée French Toast was the ideal sweet ending. If you try Bonefish Grill for anything, come for the Bang Bang Shrimp. They've capitalized on the right mix of lightly battered shrimp with a delicious but not too spicy sauce, tasty and memorable. I prefer a vinegar-based coleslaw and enjoyed this, but if that's not your preference you can enjoy a side of fries too. I've come to this location around the same time every year for the last 2-3 years. We hold a training and this restaurant is very close. To begin, making a reservation for a large party was very easy. They do not have a private room but they do have any area where they can seat 20+ people. We made the reservation well in advance for a Saturday evening this last time and it worked out great. I've had a lot of things at this location but my favorite by far is their steak and bang bang shrimp. It's so good! I also love their smoked old fashioneds. They are the perfect balance. We eat at this location at least once a month when flying out of MCO. The one thing that strikes me as amazing, most of the employees have been here a long time and genuinely love each other. I watch them change shifts and there are fist bumps and hugs thru out. Love this camaraderie among the employee group. You can tell they love their job and the people they work with! This Bonefish Grill has officially been added to my must-go rotation when in Orlando! EVERYTHING was excellent from our experience. Our server was super sweet and I feel bad because I cannot remember her name. She made our dining experience so pleasant! The restaurant was warm and inviting and had a good family feel. We started with a round of drinks, and I can honestly say this espresso martini has been the best one I've ever had! And I've had several, lol! They rimmed the glass with a crystallize espresso sugar which just made it perfect. As for our meal, My Husband got the pork chop dish. It came recommended to him by the restaurant manager on duty. Again, BEST center cut pork chop dish we've ever had and we are tough critics. That's 2 for 2 in my book! As always, the place was clean and tables set nicely and they went beyond to decorate festively for the event. The drinks and food were on mostly on point. Service was good and managers were seeing that it went smoothly. I'm an oyster person and the charbroiled oysters were my least favorite. The taste was good, but consistency wasn't quite right. I don't cook them myself, but I'd say they were a bit over cooked or sat too long before reaching my table, IDK. Manager mentioned oysters were new to them. The pasta was delicious as was the salmon. I think it could have used a little extra sauce on the plate, but I think they were concerned for those who don't enjoy spice as they mentioned the heat in the sauce as they brought it to the tables. I am a seafood lover and I was excited to try Bonefish. I was very disappointed. I had the trout, scalloped potatoes and spinach. The fish which should be delicate and flaky. Instead it was entirely overcooked and tasteless. I was so disappointed. The spinach was fine nothing fancy and the potatoes were absolutely huge and over the top. Nothing subtle just GOBS AND GOBS of cheese. My waiter was not happy to be there for sure. All in all very disappointing. This was a last minute dining experience. Unfortunately, they were not able to accommodate us in the main dining so we ate by the patio. It was an extremely windy night, which we really wish that they could've accommodated us back into the restaurant however, we sat outside and braved all of the wind blowing around us. I wouldn't come back to this location of Bonefish Grill. First off, our server was incredibly rude and did not help us with our questions. We had some questions about the fish and allergies, and she gave us little to no explanation. She was rude while taking our orders, saying things like "what do you want" and "anything else" in a rude manner. She didn't even give us a simple thank you or excuse me. Secondly, our food was inconsistent. 2 people ordered the pasta scampi dish, just one with sauce on the side. The first dish tasted nice but the second had the most saltiest sauce ever. There were also 2 of the same orders of sea bass, but they were two very different sizes. Almost every dish ordered was lathered in a salty sauce and made it unbearable to finish. Lastly, we asked for some to-go boxes for our food. I had previously seen small circle containers given out. When our server handed us huge boxes, we asked for anything smaller. She told us this is all they had. My group eventually asked a different server and she handed us the small containers that fit perfectly for our left-overs. Our original server gave us some back talk when we told her we were given smaller containers, as if she didn't want us to have those. I noticed there were more than 4 waiters/waitresses were by the kitchen which was close to us having some conversation but we were left for about 10 min. My bf kept quiet but I spoke out to get attention. (Because the place wasn't busy, that's why I wondered) Our table was second close to the bathroom. At first I felt odd, because the restaurant had about 15% table was occupied. And when noticed the host brought a black family to the table (next to us) which was closest to the bathroom. The black man spoke out to change the table so they were taken to other table. then I saw the lady(waitress) had some interesting smile on her face and had some eye engaging with a male waiter both of them were white by the way. My bf and I had some conversation on this. Bonefish wants us minority to sit close to the bathroom? Is that some kinds silent communication/understanding, they want to put us close to a bathroom in general? My bf's food was very tasteless, macaroni cheese with pieces of bacon, coleslaw was something I was shocked. I compiled a review and deleted it. But here's my updated version: I always strived to visit a Bonefish when I am in Florida. However, my most recent visit was a bit of a disappointment... First of all, the menu seemed truncated from its previous version. More importantly to me, my favorite entree, grilled Rainbow Trout, was not listed on the printed menu. Only Parmesan-crusted Rainbow Trout was notated...but I was informed that they can prepare the grilled version. To my surprise, the grilled trout is now priced the same as the parmesan-crusted version- previously there was a noticeable difference in price. Do I still like Bonefish...yes I do (as long as they retain the bread service!). Will I make a special effort to visit one while in FL...not so sure. read more
