Holy heck!!! My only complaint is I arrived 1-hour early for Happy Hour; however, Amaya made up the difference with superb customer service! Recommendations...show at 4:00-6:00 for Happy Hour, order Bang-Bang shrimp, mahi-mahi paired with old fashion or blueberry lemon drop! You won't be disappointed...oh yeah, sit at the bar and ask for Amaya! Thank me later!!! read more

We patronized the Eastchase location (Montgomery, AL) for my grandson's small select group of family & friends (approximately 25) after his wedding in May 2023, and I was totàlly & completely disappointed!! The entire experience was ridiculous! Service was extremely slow, with long waits between each step... for servers to come take drink orders and return to take food orders, to follow up to assure satisfaction...and even to accept payment, and then return to provide receipts. But the real kicker was when we requested bread and/or crackers with our meals & salads, we were told they didn't have ANY BREAD AT ALL...not even croutons!!! Can someone please explain how a supposedly upscale restaurant, with those prices, doesn't have ANY bread for their patrons?? Several people in our party expressed how the restaurant has really gone down lately. I hadn't been in years and doubt I'll be returning in many, many more! At the rate they're going (from my perspective) I wouldn't be surprised if they closed their doors within the next year or two...if that long! read more

Great service, food and overall experience. The nice dim lighting makes for a great dining experience.

My wife and I were looking for a place to have a late lunch, I had just finished reading about "Fried Brussels Spouts" and the article was absolutely right, Bonefish Brussels Sprouts were delicious. They came in 2nd to the Longhorn crisp Brussels Sprouts and that only leaves Red Lobster to try! The real reason for this review is the other part of our lunch " Fish & Chips" or what you get is Heavily bread, tasteless fish. If a English Fish & Chip place were to serve the fish we were served there would be a protest! You had to look for the fish underneath the breading small amount of fish, lots of breading. Waste of money, try some thing else, try the Salmon it is alway good! read more

Here in Montgomery, AL for business with a group of co-workers from Denver, CO. and so happy we won't be back! This restaurant chain is in almost every State I travel to and its the same experience - slow service, dirty tables, cold food, unfriendly staff, filthy kitchen (visible from dining and bar area) and over priced! What's happened - can't blame the Covid pandemic for the lack of good hot food and customer service.... read more

Just okay. Staff is rude. Food comes out with a side of finger in it. When you walk in they give you the death stare like they are annoyed you came. Food is just okay. Very chain! read more

My husband and I came here for our date night, as we got a gift card for this restaurant for Christmas. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The waiter was extremely polite, and had a great attitude which wore off on us as well. That being said, the reason I give it 3 stars is because you really are paying for the environment. I had the salmon with a side of broccoli and mac/cheese. The salmon was standard, and broccoli was overcooked to mush. Mac and cheese was okay. My husband got the mahi mahi with spinach and whipped potato side. Mahi mahi was okay, spinach - literally steamed spinach came out looking like a sad mess. Whipped potato is your standard mash potato that could use more flavor. Recommended items: bang bang shrimp appetizer. I would really recommend this - it was the best out of our meal. Their cocktails and drinks are also worth a try! Our waiter was able to give us great recommendations which we enjoyed. read more

Food was delicious, great service I recommend this place give it a I had the salmon it was delicious

Under new management and you can tell! Sat at the bar and David and Noah took amazing care of us! I got the sirloin, shrimp, Mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes and it was perfect! My wife got the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and they were also prepared spot on! In the past, service at this Bonefish has been rough! Great to see the positive changes. We will be back!! read more

Made reservations at 8:45pm at the AL Montgomery location, we checked in on time, and were told they were 30 min behind. Then were told at 9:35 pm that it would be another 10-15 min before being seated. Have to be up early, so we had to just order to go, very disappointed with the service! read more

Cod was cooked incorrectly was not flaky at all. Cooked a second time with no improvement! Why close down a Hoover,Al location that was top notch and keep a Montgomery location that is less than stellar?? read more

The services were bad, slow and don't even know about the menu. Everything was bad! Food was just ok but lobster rolls were bad. I can't believe I had pay that much for that quality. read more

This is one of our favorite places when we want to celebrate or just chill and unwind. The dim lighting and décor make for a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. We recently went to celebrate our anniversary and the service and food were wonderful! The waiter was attentive but did not rush us and let us hang out and really enjoy our evening. We even got a little extra special attention from the manager and a card from the staff. Very nice touch! read more

Came here on a Sunday for brunch. They weren't too busy and we were promptly seated. The service was great throughout the entire meal. I started with the Blackberry Sangria. It was very tasty and I would recommend it to anyone. The Peach Bellini was also very good. I ordered the BFG Tuna Steak and Eggs as my entree. It was a very unique take on steak and eggs. It actually worked really well. My only criticism is that I feel that the tuna could have been more flavorful and my food could have been warmer. Overall a solid brunch spot. read more

I just arrived yesterday from California and I wanted some Bonefish. I put in my to go order. Had a martini as I waited . I got to my Hotel room and it was nothing that I order.I mean nothing. I called them up they were Ever so apologetic. They ask me to give them another chance to make it right. Whoa did they ever the food was hot, fresh and ever so pretty to look at. Thank you again,Bonefish a company that stands by its word/standards.....I will be back Sincerely Deneice read more

Another great pre-show meal at BFG. Noah, our server, did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of us. He is very personable & professional. Great food, big portions, reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! read more

Bonefish foods is above average wherever you go and it's a testament to the chain. As I sit here at my table in a restaurant that is one-third filled...still no entrees....it's now been an hour. Sorry, your kitchen staff is a hard fail. read more

We had a lovely dinner on the patio. Good, service, atmosphere was all wonderful. We will be back ASAP!

I'm not big on most chain restaurants but when in Eastchase you don't have many lunch options that aren't a member of the establishment. The place was pretty empty because I was there on the tail end of the lunch rush and I needed a beer and some protein. I can't complain about the food or service. It didn't ring any ecstasy bells or anything but I accomplished what I set out to do which was cure my temporary hunger. My server was attentive and the crab cakes weren't disappointing and my dining partner said the tacos were above the level of eatable. Normally I would have given this place at least three stars and have revisited in the future. What I didn't like was the Alabama Dept of Health score of 83. I would have expected a chain of this caliber to have higher quality standards in the kitchen. I looked at the inspection report and it seems that this restaurant struggles with "mold in soda nozzles; Knives not properly sanitized; Cutting boards needed to be replaced; A roach & several flies in kitchen". I'm not a huge fan of mold and roaches so going forward I think I'll be choosing another chain restaurant to temper my hunger when wading through the chaos of Eastchase...at least until they get a score above 90. read more

This wonderful place was open and serving dinner for this evening and for our special occasion of a birthday dinner. The meal and service was absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional and made our evening event even more enjoyable. Thank you for your prompt service, delightful appetizers and main course meals. Our party of 8 were treated so very well. Bonefish Grill - Happy Birthday Mum! Bang Bang Shrimp Ahi Tuna Sashimi* Seasonal Vegetables Coleslaw French Fries Seasonal Crème Brûlée Thai Coconut Shrimp - Seafood Near Me - Montgomery, Alabama

Service was poor. Waitress was MIA during most of the meal. Fried shrimp was scorched. I told the server and she looked at me like I was speaking another language. Had to send it back. Next round was not scorched but the shrimp had little flavor. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was sloppily prepared. So disappointing. An overall bad experience. Won't be back. read more

They added some new menu items, I like the brussel sprouts, but they put way to much of the lemon sauce on mine. Order out from here last night and the slice of key lime pie I got had the most ridiculous amount of crust. It's still a crapshoots as to whether or not you'll get a stellar meal here. Some nights it's great, more often it's just ok or passable. read more

So, I'll just start by saying we had two very nice servers, so that definitely wasn't the problem. However, it was so slow, I was literally ready to leave before we even ordered! I can't count how many times someone in our party mentioned the amount of time this meal took, and in the end, we were in the restaurant for over three hours. We arrived at 7 and were one of the last tables in the restaurant on a Friday night. Also, the food seemed to be pretty small portions for the amount we paid and I only heard one person even comment that their meal was good (she got the sea bass- they let her try all of the sauces because she couldn't choose!). Vegetarian tip: nearly impossible to eat here, but our servers were willing to turn the shrimp pad thai into a veggie pad thai with broccoli. They told me there's also be string beans... Buuuuut I guess that just didn't happen. I also found it strange that the one meal without meat happened to come out significantly later than every other meal. Not a fan... read more

I'm not sure what it is about this place...but I had another negative experience here. I once again ordered the Salmon Superfood Salad (without the salmon)...and it once again arrived missing the two main ingredients: ancient grains and avocados. I had to once again ask for this. I'm not sure what it is about this place...but they just can't seem to get this simple order correct. I will not be returning. On a positive, my waitress was friendly and attentive. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We were seated and placed our drink orders. 3 cocktails and 4 fountain drinks. 20 minutes after we placed our drink order we asked our waiter about our drinks and we're promptly snapped at with him exclaiming I don't make the drinks I just take the order. Appetizers and drinks showed up about the same time and we were rudely asked about our main course order and were treated like we were a burden. The food was ok but the service was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant! read more

As I sit in this particular Bonefish, I can't seem to understand why the manager continues to employ some of the waiters/waitresses. The service is simply awful depending on who's helping you and as I look around, couples who came in twenty minutes after us have bread and water, while we're sitting here with nothing. I can see certain employees are much better than others and we simply won't come to this location again. read more

Did a curbside pick up. The person came to the car for payment and was very nice & friendly and masked for both of our protection. I appreciated that. Four of us had dinner at the Montgomery bonefish Friday night. The food was fine but the service was at best poor I ordered a wedge salad and pad Thai bowl. After a while the waiter returned and said that they were out of pad Thai (he was very nice by the way). I then ordered shrimp tacos. He returned again and said they were out of tomatoes for my salad. After a long while 3 of the dinners were brought to us. Much later the 4th arrived. When we were nearly finished the waiter came by and told us the chef was going to come talk to us about the time it took to deliver our dinner. He never did come to our table. This is the kind of service that will close a restaurant even in Montgomery Alabama. read more

Bonefish Grill - Seafood Near Me - Montgomery, Alabama

JUNE 5, 2021 Saturday Night MONTGOMERY, AL 36117 We've come in once before to a really good meal. . . planning to come back again. Saturday evening, my husband planned a date night for us and wanted to come back to Bonefish. Wrong Decision. We got there ahead of the crowd, so it wasn't busy. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer, then once we received it, ordered our entrees. The appetizer took FOREVER which was a surprise because we watched table after table get the exact order, even though we came in before them. The entrees finally came and our plates were cold, the fish had NO FLAVOR and the "garlic" potatoes were obviously from a box and had no flavor as well. My husband ordered a "premier" side which amounted to 4 pieces of over cooked asparagus. The best part of the meal was the bread served and even it wasn't hot. Such a disappointment. . . .won't be going back anytime soon. read more

We had our rehearsal dinner here. Food was subpar but what was really lacking was the service. It took them 40 MINUTES to divide the checks. They waited till the end to divide the checks which was such and odd decisions when we told them from the start they would be separate checks. Also weren't very friendly. It should not take that long for a party of 20. With it only divided between about 4 checks. We had to ask for the check like 5 times and it was a chaotic mess. They set themselves up for failure if you are looking to feed a large group there are much better in town options. read more

I have entertained many of our customers here before. Tonight was a total disappointment! After sending our filet mignon steaks back because they were over done, the waitress told us the the manager was personally attending to our order. Duane arrived at our table apologetically asking us to let him know if we needed anything. My wife's steak was undercooked and the Augratin potatoes were tepid at best! When we explained to Kat our waitress she apologized but we paid full price for less than mediocre meal. Great ambiance but steaks are tiny and chefs do not cook to order. So now I received an apology from corporate offering to reconcile if I would provide details of our dissatisfaction and my Address so that they could send me something special to return. Nothing! I am back in Montgomery, AL with clients and we tried Firebirds nextdoor to Bonefish. Hands down 100% better service and food. The empty promise with your standard corporate form letter only added insult to injury. I predict the this location will soon close along with many of the sister sub par locations that have fallen by the wayside. The competition is eating you lunch.,.. literally. Take a minute to go next door to Fireside and see how they "manage" their service and food quality. For us.... no more Bonefish chain! read more

The location in Montgomery, Alabama is TERRIBLE! The hostess took 15 minutes to seat us, after answering the phone multiple times. When we were finally seated, we noticed it was 98% vacant! I brought the matter up with the manager George , he was very unprofessional. He never apologized for the actions of the hostess, instead he made excuses! The food was sub par. I've been to other locations in other states, this location needs to learn from the other locations. Terrible service as well!! read more

Worst meal I have had in a while! We ordered the potstickers for an appetizer they were raw, cold and had the most unappetizing fish smell to them. Our server didn't know anything either major attitude and did nothing to make our experience better. So disappointed. read more
