Bonefish is always one of our go too's no matter what town we are in. We sat at the bar came in for lunch. Bartender was attentive and nice. My husband had fish and chips came with coleslaw. Coleslaw was really good and the fish was typical. I had pot stickers and side broccoli salad. I usually say dressing on the side and I wish I would have for this one too. Very wet salad. Restaurant was okay inside they had weird decorations hanging from ceiling in main dining room. Like the cheap ones from party city for a party just looked odd. June 11,2024 Came here with my friend for lunch. We shared the bread with the olive oil that was delicious. Then we shared the fries that come loaded with crabmeat. We split the crab cakes and had a salad as well. She liked the lunch so much that we came back for dinner with her family the same day. That night since lunch was so filling I had the tuna appetizer for dinner. It included seven pieces of tuna and had wasabi on the side. The service at this location is excellent. I got bang band shrimp with a side of potatoes a gratin. First of all, the shrimp were not fresh at all. The cheese on the potatoes was burned. If I didn't have the rest of this gift card to use I wouldn't be coming to bonefish. They really need to do better for their online ordering curbside and someone bringing the food out to you and also workers are walking around while you're standing and waiting trying to get help and no one's trying to help so unprofessional it needs to be someone at all time that's only doing online and curbside orders and when you pull up and you put your number in where you are parked, someone needs to be bringing your food out. I left a tip and I regret leaving a tip online. They don't apologize. They don't even acknowledge of you waiting almost 40 minutes when you put in a online order at 1:15 PM and you set a time for it to be ready at 3:15 PM and it wasn't. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. First the semi-aggressive bartender seemed impatient as she took our order, she was so busy gossiping with her friends at the other end of the bar. Oh and yes the conversation was not professional. The lack of attentiveness to the other customers was unreal! I wish she would pay more attention to drink ingredients as much as she was distracted-- it may have tasted like something I wanted to pay for. However, the rest of our food was average. The real issue was the service. It was awful. Our server was apathetic and somewhat inattentive. She was easily distracted and we had to ask her multiple times for several things. The manager stopped by our table twice, which was nice. Compared to the Bonefish in Mobile, AL this place is pretty low class. Sat at the bar and the bartender didn't even consider wiping away the food and drink spilled from the previous customer. Left the menu sitting at my spot through the meal while it soaked up the condensation from the drink of the previous patron. Bar was not cleaned for several empty seats in both directions the entire time I was there. Stack of menu's were just left at the end of the bar in a wet mess. No napkins or silverware placed before the meal. Had to ask for a napkin at a minimum. Food was average at best. Served reheated cheap chips with the Poke. Bartender walked around behind the bar wringing a nasty wet rag on the floor while the customer were trying to eat. Funny thing is that I never saw the wet rag used to wipe anything down just squeezed dish water all over the floor behind the bar. Manager walked up and asked how the food was when it was obvious that I I had just received it minus the terrible chips which he quickly brought while never noticing the how dirty the entire bar was. For what normally is a pretty consistent chain restaurant that is a usually a great stop while travel LOLl this specific location is pretty bad. Zero attention to detail. read more

The bartenders were training someone, and they spent a lot of time doing that. The interior design of Bonefish restaurants is always warm and inviting. Unfortunately for us, the food is underwhelming. We ordered margaritas first, and they were pretty good as was the bread and dipping sauce. The house salad comes with greens that just don't mesh, and the dressing is bland. It is garnished with a few tomatoes, olives and one heart of palm. The Corn and Crab soup is topped with bacon, and that's about all you can taste. If you fish around for a piece of crab meat, you might find a small morsel. The Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna is overly dark in color, and it's not visually appealing. It was also too cold for our tastes. Room temperature is fine but this is refrigerator cold. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for the manager and staff at this restaurant. We had an unpleasant experience a year ago and even though the manager was not there he reached out to me and requested that our entire party of 9 come back and give them a chance to make the experience better for us. We went back tonight for the same event we went for last year( my daughter's birthday). From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. When it was time to pay for the meal they had comped the entire meal including appetizers for our entire party. Not only that but because it was my daughter's birthday they all signed a card and presented it to my daughter for her birthday. We will definitely be back to this restaurant when we are in Montgomery. Bonefish grill used to be considered a fancy upscale place to go eat dinner at. During covid times I have found their service to be lacking. More often than not we are seated without utensils. One time we were seated and no waiter/waitress came by for 20 minutes and we had to ask about it. Last time we came by, we were up charged for an item we didn't order (it became a he said/she said situation between us and the waitress) and then we were told they couldn't take it off the bill for some reason. We have always been very happy with our meal and food, but it has taken a while to be served and I wonder if they have cut back on staffing in the kitchen and hired more green waiters and waitresses. Regardless, we miss the old experience of bonefish being a top quality restaurant. I know my in laws really want this place to succeed as it's been a Montgomery staple for so long. I just hope bonefish gets better service so we can come back and enjoy the bonefish we remember. read more

It's been a while since I have been to Bonefish Grill. It's a solid choice if you're in the mood for seafood. The restaurant was operating at about half capacity. Masks are required for patrons and employees. Even though my friend and I were told it would be a 30 minute wait, we only waited about 5 minutes. The service was prompt and friendly. Our waiter was very attentive. I ordered the pecan-Parmesan crusted trout, which was very good. I tried to keep this meal healthy, so I ordered broccoli and sautéed spinach for my sides. I tried calling as I was pulling up to make sure all was good and they did not answer. When the lady came out to get my credit card she was curt at best. This is a seafood restaurant. MEDIUM is the recommended temp - not well. They did not ask what temp - so I expect Medium. I ordered a bowl of soup. I get a less than half filled container of soup. Less than half filled container of dressing.... I'm frustrated. Look I worked ALLLLL DAY. I had 3 board meetings. I stopped because I had not eaten all day and just wanted something better than fast food and BWW chicken wings! I would have preferred they say sorry our kitchen is closed. Our app is wrong. My husband and I came for date night. This was our first time here in years. Absolutely amazing, mouthwatering food. We got the tuna poke and bang bang artichokes for appetizers. They were absolutely devine! My husband got the trout and I got the shrimp and scallops. The scallops melted in my mouth, they were amazing! The shrimp was delicious too. It Came Back Out Quite Quickly, But The Asparagus And Mashed Potatoes Werent Hot. Finally Ready To Check Out, Wanted To Add A Dine Reward And Had A Problem With That. Couldn't Also Do Military On The Check For Some Reason. Once There Was A Problem With The Check, The Bartender Went And Got The Manager. Great, They Handled It And All Was Good. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. For drinks I had the Parker's Margarita and White Cosmo (seasonal); the White Cosmo was definitely the best bar drink I've had in a while.
