I finally tried brunch at Bonefish, and let me tell you, people are seriously sleeping on this spot, especially this location. It's easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Waugh Chapel Gambrills area. I sat at the bar for brunch and loved that you can order from both the brunch and regular menu. The bar itself was clean, modern, and had a really nice vibe. Perfect for a solo brunch or catching up with friends. Of course, I had to get those charbroiled oysters again. They remind me so much of New Orleans and never miss. The bartender who took care of me was David, and listen, do not get rid of David. He was amazing. Super knowledgeable about spirits and gave great food and drink recommendations. Top-tier service. I started with the brunch cocktail sampler and all three drinks were fire. I loved the presentation. The brunch punch, espresso martini, and sunny up martini were all so good. For my meal, I ordered the crème brûlée French toast with a side of peppered bacon. Perfect combo. That French toast was exactly what I hoped for, coated like crème brûlée and soaked in Grand Marnier. I already can't wait to go back for more. Before I left, David made me one of his famous smoked Old Fashioneds that people at the bar kept raving about. It absolutely lived up to the hype. I love great service at the bar and David delivered. You did it again, Bonefish. And please, whatever you do, don't take those oysters off the menu.

Crofton does not have many good restaurants but Bonefish Grill is one of a very select few. My family and I enjoy coming here for special occasions and our most recent visit was for Easter. We had a short wait since we didn't have a reservation. One of our favorite items is their complimentary bread and pesto olive oil dip. We always ask for a second one too sometimes when we're feeling really hungry. Our server was very accommodating and all around provided amazing service. For my entree, I ordered their Parmesan-Crusted Rainbow Trout. Other members got Parker's Margarita Sea Bass and the Scallops & Shrimp Scampi Pasta. I tried all of them and they were all great but I definitely enjoyed mine the most. The fish was huge and everything was seasoned so well. We also ended up sharing the Key Lime Cake for dessert. It was huge and heavy but really good. Definitely glad we shared one slice after everything we ate. The only cocktail I ever order here is their Crushed Pineapple Martini because it is so good! It's perfectly sweet and very well balanced. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys fruity cocktails. Another great experience as always and I'm already looking forward to coming back. It's not super fancy but a higher quality chain restaurant that provides great service and even better food!

Stop #3 I loved that Bonefish Grill offered Cinco de Mayo specials! Sure, it's just another themed day for bars, but if I can enjoy food and drink deals in a lively atmosphere, why not take advantage? I actually found out about their specials while scrolling through one of my social media groups looking for something to do after the first spot I visited turned out to be a bust. Maybe I missed an email from Bonefish because, honestly, their monthly events haven't wowed me lately. I first tried the location farther from home, but the bar area was dead. So I headed to the closer one, which had a bit more energy. I grabbed a recently vacated seat at the bar. The dishes were still there, but a front-of-house manager quickly cleaned it off and handed me a menu. I told him straight up I was there for the $5 drinks! I started with the dragon fruit margarita (served straight up). The bartender was friendly but incredibly slow. Another manager eventually jumped in to help take the order of the guy next to me. I also ordered the Parker House Margarita, but there was some miscommunication with the bartender. I asked about the tequila options which were blanco vs. golden because I thought that was reposado but somehow ended up being charged extra for patron when I thought it was part of the standard choices. Not a huge deal, but kind of frustrating. What really saved the night was the other patrons. Chatting with them made it more enjoyable, and I even joked with the bartender that I should order my second drink now just so it would be ready by the time I wanted a third. Overall, I appreciate the effort and the vibe once I found the right location, but the service hiccups kept it from being a five-star third end of my night.

Bonefish is always a hit. The bartenders are always do nice and provide exceptional service. Not to mention the drinks and food are top tier. Definitely order the side Caesar either way the bang bang shrimp and don't forget the French 75. Immaculate. To top it off the dimly lit ambiance makes this a great date night or girl's outing at the bar.

Large serving. Overcooked. Not that large. Small side of beans.

It was fine. Not great. Not bad. Just fine... it's feeling more like a franchise restaurant these days. This location in particular. I got a large serving of salmon. It just wasn't that large. It took a long time. It was overcooked. The sides were nice but portions were small. My smoked old fashion was okay. The salad was decent. There is a huge amount of staff here but for some reason my server was never around when I needed him.

My good girlfriend and I had our first girlfriend date of the summer and decided on Bonefish Grill as they had their $5 martini & margarita special! Everything we ordered was delicious, food and drinks. Our server Nina was excellent and gave good selections on our drinks! The bar area was chill as we got here around 5:15pm.

Bonefish does it again. Merry Martini was a success. 5 Course meal with a glass of champagne and four martinis to complement each entree and dessert. Bonefish has a hit on their hands. Keep them coming!

The place is perfect order. Staff very efficient & the kitchen is well run. We sat at the bar & the place was like wel oiled machine . Very impressed. The bartenders were outstanding. Although I asked for a short draft beer and literally got a small little glass then I asked what is this he said that's a short glass. I told the bartender typically short & tall are the reference at most bars (short : pint, tall: larger) He gave the pint but charged for me for both same price. Luckily this was the only disappointment.

Definitely my Go 2 Spot for quick meals and the bang bang shrimp. But my friends and I love the wine and cocktail dinners that they host once a month. The menu selections are always creative as well as so very tasty.

    Bourbon Glazed Salmon

My wife and I went to Bonefish on a random Tuesday 9/30 around 6:30pm. I was skeptical at first because of past not so good experiences here but my wife wanted salmon so I figured let's give it another shot. It was not busy at all and we were seated right away. The service was fantastic, we ordered a couple martinis and both were made perfectly. Had to order the bang bang shrimp and they were on our table in minutes and were the best I've had in a long time. My wife ordered the bourbon salmon and I ordered one the of specials, the swordfish with pumpkin ravioli. I've never had swordfish but wanted something new. It was PHENOMENAL, cooked absolutely perfectly. My wife's salmon was also perfect. We Both got grilled asparagus and I also got truffle fries. EVERYTHING was delicious, everything. Whoever was cooking that night actually cared about what they were putting out and it showed, I've been to bonefish many times and it was always good enough to come back. This time though it was good enough to write about. Everything was great and thank you for an amazing meal. Will definitely be back.

Great wine selection and full array of bourbons. My favorite, of course the smoked old fashion with Woodford Reserve double oaked.
    Lawrence G.

Another go-to spot with great food and drinks. Good on your own or with family or friends. I often sit at the bar when my wife and I are out and about. Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is always chilled. In addition to their regular service, they offer Brunch on Sunday... If looking for a diverse location. Can visit for ansparts bar atmosphere..football, basketball, family dinner or a nice place for a quiet dinner with significant other.

I ordered a seafood boil because I couldn't switch them up fast enough while she ordered sushi. I actually love the concept because so many people aren't sushi fans but most folks get down with seafood! The food was actually good and they pulled off both cuisines effortlessly! My margarita was as good as any chain Mexican restaurant, so that was additional plus given the Mexican holiday. The interior is on the smaller side, however, they offer booth seating and it has a decent size bar. If I lived in the Upper Marlboro/Bowie area like I used to, I'd come here often but since I don't, I'll occasionally stop in when I'm in the area! Good job Pier 99!

We didn't know anyone personally who had been there, but the photos and buzz convinced us to give it a try. We are so glad we did. We drove about 40 minutes and arrived without reservations. That part was on us. We didn't realize how strongly reservations are recommended. The wait was about an hour, but it was completely worth it. The restaurant was packed, which told us right away that this place is well loved. While we were waiting, we noticed something special. The owner, Mr. Pete, was actively involved at the front desk. He checked the waiting list, greeted guests, and spoke to many customers by name. You could immediately tell he has built real relationships with his clientele. There were several birthday celebrations happening, and the energy in the lobby felt warm and welcoming. Once seated, we were taken care of by our server, Louie. He was attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. Excellent service makes a big difference, and Louie absolutely delivered. Now the food. Phenomenal. We ordered seafood platters, and the portions were enormous. They start you off with warm bread and butter, which set the tone. The seafood was fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The portions were so generous that we had enough left over to enjoy brunch the next day. For the quality and quantity, the pricing was very reasonable. The drinks were excellent, the ambiance was lively yet comfortable, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Blue Dolphin is clearly a local favorite for a reason. We will absolutely be back. And next time, we will definitely make reservations. Highly recommend.

Unfamiliar with the area, I jumped on yelp and found The Farmhouse with its 4.4 star rating. So there we went. The Waugh Chapel area is a giant shopping center. Wegmans, Old Navy, Verizon, etc. The Farmhouse is in a new building near the man road. Their whole thing is farm to fork, with some herbs and greens grown on site and others sourced locally. The service is great! Fast and friendly. Instead of bread or rolls, they warm you up with some country style homemade cornbread. Freshly baked, cast iron skillet, with butter and syrup. Yum! We had the meatloaf and the chicken and chicken and biscuits. The meatloaf was tasty, with homemade mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked fresh green beans. The chicken and biscuits is kind of like a chicken pot pie without the crust. The biscuits are on top so you can decide how much bread you want. The vegetables are nice and fresh, and the chicken is perfect white meat. A++ on both entrees. For dessert we had half-baked, which is an ooey gooey cookie and a brownie in a cast iron skillet topped with ice cream. When we arrived, our table appeared to be ready right at our reservation time, but we still had to wait to be seated. It wasn't a long delay, but it was a bit confusing and felt like a service issue. The ambience is beautiful and well done, and the bathrooms were clean. The food itself was solid across the board, and the chicken and biscuit was actually even better the next day as leftovers. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest drawback. Refills only happened when we asked, and splitting checks for a large group was more difficult than expected. At one point when a correction was needed, a member of our party noticed the server visibly rolling her eyes, which didn't help the experience. Drinks are also served by the can rather than fountain style, which made them feel overpriced without refills. For a place that presents as upscale, the experience shouldn't feel nickel-and-dimed. Overall, nice atmosphere and good food, but the service needs improvement before I'd consider returning.
