Can't say enough good about this place. Every time I come to bonefish, which is quite often it is always a great experience. The food is great and the employees are awesome . Even though I get the same thing every time. And I recommend it it's not on the menu get a Cobb salad with an order of bang bang shrimp on top and use the bang bang shrimp sauce for your salad dressing. You will love it and it is cheap read more

Bonefish Grill - Bang bang shrimp on a Cobb salad - Seafood Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

Went for lunch with a friend a few weeks ago. The service was great and we both really enjoyed the food. I had crab cake appetizer with a salad. The salad was perfectly dressed and was super fresh. The crab cakes reminded me of the ones I had on a visit to Maryland years ago. Full of crab and very little breading. read more

A terrible night for my daughter's birthday. Not only slow service, they continued to get our order wrong then billed us wrong and charged us for a free birthday cheese cake. They also did not know the difference been a sirloin and a filet. Not coming back to this location. Normally you would think the manager would make it right. But Charged full price. Good luck if you select this place. read more

Baby bang shrimp and $4 happy hour house wine on a Sunday is about all this place has going for it. I used to think the creme brulee was worth going for too, but I couldn't bring myself to order it, after the disaster of my meal. Our waitress was nice but couldn't prevent the disaster of my meal or make it right. Long story short, they brought my fish out to me three times and it still wasn't correct. The first time it was the wrong item, the second time it was raw in the middle, the third time it was overcooked and under seasoned. The manager took off the fish but still charged me a $2 up charge for upgrading one of my sides to a side salad. The $4 house wine that I ordered to drink with my meal I drank without my meal and they still charged me for that too. read more

It was our first time trying this restaurant. We were seated at table 4 by the window. We ordered the Bang, Bang Shrimp appetizer and felt there was no crispiness to the shrimp. In fact it was soggy. I ordered the Cod Fish & Chips with a side of Asparagus. The fish was greasy, soaked in oil too much batter, and very little cod fish inside. My date ordered the Cod Imperial there were no capers and the fish was overcooked. While we were eating a huge cockroach crawled onto our table. I jumped up and screamed. This is unacceptable and a health violation. The staff didnt seem to be concerned about it. They took their time to get to our table to find the roach. Neither of us finished our dinner. I was very disappointed. read more

News Years Day lunch disappointing. I ordered the Cobb Salad with Shrimp for $16.00. The avocado was more black then green, lettuce old and dry, and the grilled shrimp not cooked through. The server brought me new avocado which was still streaked with black and said...well its January, meaning you're not going to get decent avocado. At that point I ate the bread and decided I'll never eat at this location again. read more

Sunday evening is not a good time to eat there. They have been out of various menu items every time we've been there on Sunday.

My friend and I sat that the bar cuz we would've been in an empty room if we were seated. The bartender was very good, staying on top of our drinks, helping with food selection and making sure everything came out on time. The food was delicious, the drinks could've used a splash more of alcohol, but I understand with chain places like this. Overall everything was good, don't understand why people or myself do go there more often. It's in a very nice and new area. read more

Bonefish Grill - Filter Mignon, Garlic Mash and Broccoli - Seafood Near Me - Columbia, South Carolina

We've been to Bonefish Grill locations on many occasions and never experienced anything but good food & friendly staff. That's part of the reasoning behind this review. Our experience this time was anything but what's normally experienced. We sat at the bar. Service was terrible, food only so-so. That's so unusual. Three bartenders, and when we sat down we became the 6th & 7th people to be seated at the bar. The restaurant wasn't very busy but it was a Sunday, Mother's Day so maybe that had something to do with the lack of business. Not one of the three bartenders would make eye contact. Back and forth they went, doing what I don't really know. It wasn't making drinks that's for sure. Finally we flagged one down and he said, "Oh do you want something to drink?" We acknowledged that we would like a drink and menus. We ordered scotch on the rocks. Fancy glasses with a huge ice cube. Very fancy. Unfortunately, what we saw was that he reached into the ice bin by hand and put the cube in the glass. Not cool. So that's addressed and resolved. Now its time to order. Again, not one of the 3 paid any attention. We flag down another bartender. She's drinking something by straw that looks like a kids sippy cup. Stands in front of us and asks for our order. Sipping / slurping away, nodding her head as we ordered. The food seems to take forever to arrive. We discuss just settling up and going elsewhere when suddenly the food arrives. It was ok, but not everything hot. Made you think at least one of the meals had been sitting for awhile before being served. Given our experience at this place so far we just wanted to exit. Hence, we didn't send anything back. Just ate the warm stuff. Now I've never owned a restaurant. But I have owned businesses and I worked in restaurants through college. Some serious training / setting of expectations is in need here. Bonefish Grill is a much better experience than this place offered. Management needs to step up. We won't return to this location. read more

Bang-Bang Shrimp is one of the best foods I've ever eaten. Great service, Attentive Staff

When we arrived Was told we had a 45 min to an hour wait. We decided to hop in the car and go down the block to pick up a few things from Walmart no sooner we pulled out of the parking lot we received a text that said our table was ready ! I was shocked it was less than 5 mins so now I had to find another park which was not easy !!! Finally we were seated at a tiny table which I had clearly stated I wanted a booth I told the waiter and he informed the hostess he returned and said the wait would be longer ! By this time I was aggravated and didn't feel like waiting anymore or moving the car Again so just stayed. We ordered our appetizers Prince Edwards Island mussels St. Josephine and a cup of Crab Corn Chowder which came out quick . It was great ! Well the we quickly ordered our main course at the same time we ordered the appetizers thinking it would speed up the process well it didn't we waited over an hour for our main course. We ordered Sirloin Steak and crab cake , Garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Also Talapia imperial and the same sides. Food was great ! Service was horrible! The waiter didn't check on us like he should've I had to keep calling him he was walking around in a daze . I had to get his attention he wasn't busy just not alert! read more

Every time I go to BFG I tell myself, "this time I'll like it." Food always taste just okay. Because I travel for my company a lot, I eat at some of the best restaurants in the country - both very expensive and moderately priced - including chains like this one. But this place is just overpriced for what I'd consider Banquet food, at best. Not a bad place if it's the only choice, but I'd never make it my first choice. read more

I went out to dinner with my husband and he and I both really enjoyed eating here. He had the Sockeye Salmon with sweet potatoes and I had the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with fried rice and mango salsa. My husband said the fish was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and juicy. My dish was better than expected! I loved all the flavors. We did wait quite awhile for dinner, but we were comped 20%, plus we got our dessert and an alcoholic beverage for free! I would definitely go back again. read more

This is a great Bonefish location. The service is great and the food is consistently very good. It's nice to walk over after a movie for a glass of wine as well. We eat here on a regular basis read more

First off, the waitress was fantastic. The food...meh. The sauteed spinach was literally drowned in oil...a bowl full of oil. The calamari was really bad. Fried calamari is supposed to be crispy on the outside, but tender. This calamari was almost uneatable. It was light trying to eat plastic. The Tuna Shashimi, wonderful. May give it another try. Maybe just a bad night. read more

Worst experience I've had in a restaurant in awhile from start to finish. Wrote an email to them and never heard back so evidently they don't care. Worst $70 I've ever spent in a restaurant. Horrible service, food wasn't cooked properly and I almost fell on a huge puddle of water that took them way too long to clean up. I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

Food was good, I ordered Salmon with Butter & Garlic. Salmon was moist but bland and no garlic taste. My sides of zucchini and potatoes au gratin were great! My Mother's steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. We were not happy with the long wait on our appetizers, and the longer wait on the food. We arrived at 5:30 on Friday, and where seated immediately. We saw no reason for such a long wait. read more

Came here tonight with a large party for a friends birthday. Reservations were made a week prior. We arrived 5 min prior to our reservation time and were made to wait 30 min for our "reserved" table. If you cannot guarantee a table at the stated time then do not take reservations. It is poor planning and customer service on the restaurant' part. We ended up being late to our plans following dinner. When you're paying $25+ per person on a meal the least you can expect is a table when you arrive to your reservation. read more

April 24 2021- at 630pm we had reservations for a party of 30 people prior to this reservation we spoke with management and they advise us they can handle our crowd. From the time we sat everything was moving slowly. Appetizers did not come out until 8pm or some people did not get there when the food finally came out it was cold it was incorrect some people got nothing. Our guest left because it was getting late some people and other did not my niece and nephew did not get a meal my grandmother and wife never received there food. This was my daughter graduation dinner I have never been so embarrassed and upset. I do not blame the server I blame management and the kitchen. This was an terrible experience for me in all my years. It was so bad I was bringing food back to the kitchen telling them the food was cold. This place had great reviews which was the reason I picked this place I'm so done even till this day Im upset.after every one left we had to go to McDonald and eat and feed the kids smh ‍ read more

I have never had a bad meal here. Bonefish Grill takes excellent care in cooking fish properly. The waitstaff is usually very knowledgable about the dishes. Whenever my friend and I go we order two entrees to split and the kitchen automatically puts half of each entree on our plates. If you are nit a fish eater, the filet is divine. And if chocolate creme brûlée happens to be a dessert choice - GET IT!! read more

I tried making reservations, but they have a peculiar policy that I do not understand so won't waste your time trying to explain it. Best advice, arrive early or plan to wait. Our server was prompt, curteous and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Sashimi which was delicious. For my main course I ordered the Salmon and Asparagus Salad with extra asparagus ( I love asparagus) and it was very nice. This will be my third visit in two weeks. Service was above average and the food as well. Very busy but relaxing atmosphere. read more

I love samon salad, and the bang bang shrimp and the bread, and ofcourse my red wine.

I loved bonefish grill. It was conveniently located next to the movies near Harbison blvd. Ambience was great and food was amazing. We ordered mussels for appetizer. My family and I went here for my birthday dinner last week. Being new to the area, I've never heard of this restaurant but I knew they had seafood. My mother and I are absolutely in LOVE with Bonefish!!! We didn't know where else to eat, because I must say that we are foodies and we've probably eaten every place that we could think of, so I suggested that we try Bonefish. We have always heard great things about Bonefish, but we never thought about trying it. I must say that Bonefish was all that we hoped for and more. The servers and the food exceeded our expectations. For our appetizer we ordered the Ceviche and the Bang Bang Shrimp.....simply delicious. For our main course my mother and I both ordered lamb chops w/ garlic whipped mash potatoes and we each order a different side dish. I chose the asparagus and she chose the spinach. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The pricing is fair and I DO RECOMMEND THE BANG BANG SHRIMP!!!!! read more

While I am a huge fan of their bang bang shrimp and tuna, I was quite disappointed to see that they took their Diablo shrimp fettuccine off of the menu. While it was quite some time ago, and I am unsure if they added it back, I was nonetheless disappointed by this. I ordered their fish special and it was just okay. It's definitely been better. I am just going to assume that it was an off night. The service is good and the wine spritzers are a favorite. read more
