Clanton, I have recently discovered is the land of 1000 bbq restaurants. It seems like there's one on every corner. If you decided that you were going to try them all it would be quite a feat to accomplish. I may give it a shot. Anyway, I pulled into this one today and had lunch. Pork plate, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Solid. Really good prices, like about 11 bucks with the drink. The food was above average. Pork moist, potatoes real, mac and cheese very cheesy and delicious. Friendly people, nice clean environment. Overall a good spot to stop for a quick lunch if you're in the area and feeling the need for bbq.

Incredible food. I don't like barbecue but the chicken and ribs were UNREAL. Kind, real southern folk. Would definitely recommend at again.

It was very hard to find. Ribs were tough and very expensive. Had slow service. Menu seemed to be unfocused and to many options.

The pork plate was good and it came with 2 sides, I had Cole slaw and baked beans, they were both good.

DONT RECOMMEND TO EVER COME HERE!…read more Service was slow and awful; took 30 mins just to get our order placed; food was all premade or frozen food. The wings were Tyson's honey bbq and awful. Server didn't know the cut of beef they were serving as smoked meat. Allegedly was brisket but was roast beef smoked way too long where it was tougher than jerky. Ribs were super fatty. Ambiance was very old and dated.

Great service! Our waitress was hustling for every table, which is something you don't usually see…read more I ordered a water with lemon to start. The water had great ice but tasted like dishwater, but I added four lemons to make it taste okay. There was a big selection on the menu. I had BBQ yesterday, so I was looking for something besides a pulled pork sandwich. I was recommended the catfish because I was told it was served fresh. I asked, and it turned out the catfish was frozen, but I still had my mind set on it. I ordered the two-piece catfish platter with baked beans and onion rings. The food came out quickly, even on a busy day. The catfish pieces were big, and the baked beans were a good portion. I got my catfish fried, and they tasted as good as frozen catfish can. A few bites were extremely fishy, but they still had a nice crunch. The onion rings and baked beans were decent. The beans were served with pulled pork, which was a nice touch. I had to end lunch with a slice of key lime pie. The pie was small for being $5, but it was the best thing I had. It tasted exactly how you want key lime pie to taste. They provided the check near the end of the meal and you pay up front. Good for those who do not like to wait for the check to leave. Overall, great Southern vibe and a great experience.
