The Holiday Ham was the most delicious ham We have ever tasted. My family and I enjoyed it so much we can't wait to make more little sliders. It's big enough for the whole family to enjoy any way they like. The Holiday Ham has officially become part of our Christmas tradition.

BBQ Sampler - 2 ribs, choice of two meats (brisket and sausage). Highly recommended.

Amazing BBQ. The absolute best St Louis style ribs around. BBQ Sampler - 2 ribs and choice of two meats. I chose brisket and sausage. Brisket was tender and juicy. Sausage has good flavor and very lean.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich and great service! 1st time to their new location - beautiful inside! They did an amazing job on the remodel. Great selection on the menu!

    These ribs ! So good

these guys got it going on. you can taste the 45 years of a skilled craftsman. as soon as we walked we could smell the sweet hickory smoke in the air. ordered are food and before we got are own beverages are food was ready. awesome decor with a ton of newspaper articles, trophies and a 150 inch big screen tv. BoneDaddy himself brought are food out. we had a short conversation about brisket and began to eat! everything was super good.

thick sliced beef brisket with corn bread, bbq baked beans, and potato salad

If you stick with the ribs and sliced beef brisket, you'll be happy. Skip the pulled pork because it's too fatty, and they aren't as thorough about separating the skin bits from the meat. If that doesn't bother you, then go right ahead and order it, as it is a MASSIVE amount of food; almost a little too much for the size of bun they give you. It turns into mush very quickly. For $7.20, it is more than enough food for one person. Beef brisket plate will run you about $11.25 for meat, smokehouse beans, coleslaw, cornbread muffin or dinner rolls. Their cornbread muffin is pretty sweet, but it's definitely a better option than the dinner rolls, which are bland and boring. They had a hiatus for quite some time, but they are back busier than ever, so if you find are in the mood for BBQ and are in the tri-cities area, Bone Daddy's is certainly worth a try. Bonus that they cater for large and small events, corporate or personal! :)

I got the sampler plate because the first time at a place and a Native Texan that gets his smoke on, I found a MAJOR FLAW! The ribs were the best I've had in Michigan. The beans and the meat were good but tasted like fuel! Major flaw in smoking incorrectly! Noticed the smokers outside with gas lines attached. Sorry Bone Daddy...You're CHEATING!! I give you mad props on the ribs though!! They were ON POINT! But...There's nothing worst than tasting fuel in the smoke. Gotta fix that and don't drown the brisket and pulled pork in sauce. Fix that and I'll change my review to 5 Stars

Would be nice to know if they ever open regular hours. We have been here a couple times in the past few months and no go. Kinda shitty.

We had a female server named Aubrey who was great. The Korean Sticky Ribs are a must have appetizer. We also like the brisket tacos a lot. They have a different special each day of the week. Not much as far as ambience and it can get very noisy when the place is full.

The restaurant itself had a nice rustic influenced atmosphere. It was louder than I would have preferred, it made it hard to have conversations with others at the table. I ordered an appetizer of Burnt Ends, and the two-meat dinner for two to share with my lady. For meats we chose Brisket and pulled pork. I judge Barbeque restaurants by their Brisket. If you can't do a decent brisket, you shouldn't offer it. While we were waiting the rest of the family and other locals were really talking up Molasses. Unfortunately, the hype did not live up to the experience. First. The burnt ends are not burnt ends. Well, they're poor man's burnt ends in that it's not the trimmings off of smoked meat. It's something made to simulate burnt ends. I'm not sure what kind of smoker Molasses use, but there was no smoke flavor to it. Plus, it was a little tough. It needed BBQ sauce for flavor. The Brisket was also a little on the tough side; it did not pull apart like it should and had no flavor to the bark. It was a tad bland. The pulled pork was juicy, but again almost flavorless. All the meats needed the sauce to make them enjoyable. For sides we got the dill potato salad and fire roasted corn. Both of those were good. We were highly please by them, however if you're going to a BBQ place for the sides... why even go? Overall, I was disappointed with Molasses. The food was good, but not great. It was an okay example of smoked meat. I don't know how they prepare the meat, but it's disappointing. If it's the only BBQ option in Midland, then I understand the love of it, but if you have access to better... or any other. Go there.
