Really great moving experience. James the owner is easy to communicate with. I had a complex move which involved a few different days and different locations in Nevada County (GV old house, NC new house, GV storage unit) and he made it all work smoothly. We had a slight miscommunication re drive time cost the first day, but he was quick to work that out with me and gave me a slight discount. Very fair and reasonable guy to work with. The two movers were polite, professional, flexible (since I wasn't fully done packing) and really helped make a stressful situation easier. They took care to wrap and pack family heirloom furniture and items and went with the flow as I directed what went to storage vs. new house etc. I've had some nightmares movers in the past and they really made this as smooth as move can be. I used Bond's moving last month to move from a large 4 bedroom 3 car garage. Telling James I need a huge truck or two loads. They made it in one trip and did an incredibly timely fashion at an extremely reasonable price. They made me question my own ability by how passionate they were about working so hard. I just got done with a local move today in Nevada City, and I can't say one bad thing about the experience I had with Bond moving! From booking it and phone discussions with the owner, James to flexibility that was needed due to bad weather to the two men that did the moving- it all was outstanding. Tony and Eli never stopped moving! They just kept going and going and going for 10 hours straight! I've never seen people work so hard in my life! I did not think I had that much stuff- but there were some odds and ends that needed to be packed up as well as some large and extremely heavy furniture going in and out of small twisted spaces. These 2 did everything they knew how to make it work, constantly communicating with each other, constantly being friendly and so pleasant to be around. Thanks again, guys!!! This was the second time in less than three months that they unfortunately had to move furnishings due to the rapid decline in my husband's health. I was delighted with Bond's moving and here's why: 1. I was given a written estimate before I agreed to the work, and they did not exceed the quoted price. 2. James was terrific to work with. I live 200 miles away and I was able to schedule moving a piece of treasured family furniture from an abandoned, condemned location -- very difficult and sensitive. His workers were so great, sending us a photo of the item to make sure it was correct, and even going through the location picking up family photos, a last-minute request. So kind and helpful. 3. We only had two days to get into the site when I called James, and he scheduled our move the next day. The other mover I called needed a week and a half. 4. Communication was exceptional throughout, with James as well as with his workers. I would definitely use Bond's Moving services again, and recommend them to others! read more

We were very happy with Bond's. We hired them to unload a moving "Pod" into our new home. They were fast and careful. They were also easy to work with. Their online system made it easy to schedule and pay, and kept us up to date with automated reminders. Also, we booked them on short notice, after another service lost our appointment. The Worst! First, two guys show up in a rented U-Haul truck having no identification of who they were, except for a T-shirt. When I asked for a business card, they had none. They took over 6 hours to do what the previous movers did in 2, and broke my stair bannister and smudges on the walls all over. When the owner showed up, he said "If I can't remove the front door while we're here, and we damage your door, it's on you!". I assured him it was not "on me" for any damages he or his workers caused. (It was over 100 degree weather and a wasps flying around). We are still getting settled into our new place but I needed to stop and give these guys a review. Simply fantastic! Jacob, Tony and Newie (spelling?) worked so hard to pack our belongings and unload to our new home. The unload was very unforgiving (stairs and narrow doorways & hallways) but they never complained and genuinely cared about us! Although we ended up paying a little more than quoted (job took a little longer than anticipated) it wasn't for lack of hustle and hard work. I cannot give enough support for these guys and will definitely call them again when/if we move next - you should too! read more

They did such a great job the first time I hired them, that I hired them two additional times to finish my moving trip and then to also move my very heavy vintage piano. I also referred them to a friend. This shows that I really feel they were professional and really made moving much more doable. I used bond services and all I will say they are very responsive. Do not believe what estimate they give you for the move. They will charge you double than what you expect to pay. Please do not use their services until you have a hand written agreement on every single fee that they will be charging. They handled all items with care but not happy with the hidden fees. Excellent company of movers! Friendly, well groomed, masked, and hard working. They know what they are doing. I called with 2 days notice to move my 2 bedroom home from Penn Valley to California City, CA. James and his staff were on time, they took apart my piano, hutches, china cabinets and other furniture showing me the bent screws or the shredded nails that currently existed in/adjoining my furniture. They blanketed everything, plastic wrapped it all and hauled it out with pulleys and man-power. All of my boxes were re-taped since the 'black' (un-named) tape doesn't stick in the heat. (I didn't know until I saw my boxes tape blowing in the wind.) PLUS, they backed the 26' truck up quite a steep gravel driveway with safety and ease. All of the move totaled 4 hours to pack up and they went their way to get ready for the drive South the next day. The next morning they were at my door in my new home, unloaded all of the packages and set up all of my furniture in the places I directed. The furniture that they showed me needs fixed I can address at my leisure. The unpack and set up took 2 hours and they headed back North. WELL WORTH THE MONEY spent to get to and from interstate within CA. Thank you James, Lambert, Adrian, and Eli for a flawless move. I will recommend you to everyone. read more
