I don't relish leaving not-so-good reviews, but for what they charge I expected better service. 1. They lost one of my favorite Encinitas Surfboards socks. They paired my sock with a rando black Under Armour sock that IS NOT MY SOCK. If you lost my sock, please don't pair it with some random person's sock from ANOTHER PERSON'S FOOT. 2. The chest up to the neckline of every shirt in one of the bags of clean clothes had powdered laundry detergent sprinkled all over it. I'm sensitive to detergent and I don't know what kind of detergent it is. I'm hoping it isn't powdered detergent with bleach because the shirts are mostly dark colors. I'll have to have that entire bag laundered again. 3. Blue marks that appear to be pen marks on the front of a white shirt that weren't there before laundry was picked up. The shirt didn't fit me that great anyway so rather than trying to remove the stains I threw it in the trash. 4. When they delivered the clean clothes on hangers (which I didn't request, my order was to have everything folded) they hung it on my screen door with the pointy part of the top of the wire hangers pressing against the screen, which could have poked and damaged the screen. What they did well: 1. Fast turn around time. Only took one day! 2. I like all the options when you order, and how easy the ordering process is on their site. 3. Impeccably folded and organized by category in separate bags, which makes it faster to put away. P.S. If Freshly Folded did your laundry and you have my Encinitas Surfboards sock, I want it back. Unless you wore it. Then you can keep it.

The employee who helped me was so kind, attentive, and detailed -- she asked all of the right questions and handled my clothes with care. When I picked up my laundry, everything was perfectly folded, smelled super fresh, and was packaged so neatly, I even showed my friend (via FaceTime) because I was in absolute shock. You can tell they really take pride in what they do and care about their customers. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond with both quality and customer service, this is it. I had several loads because I was spring cleaning especially for allergens. I walk in a didn't say a word. I had a huge bald male sitting behind the counter grilling me on my bag. I took a few seconds to process how and why he was asking me. I said blankets. He proceeded to tell me that he was trying to "save me time" and not bother looking for machines. I then told him I could see it was busy, but he was basically refusing me to patronize the service. I told him, I had been coming to that laundromat before he even hot a job there. I still needing to wash my loads went across town by the DollarTree. I'm glad this place cleaned itself up, but I don't appreciate someone asking me questions when I know what is and isn't allowed there. He didn't have a name tag, but I don't spend my hard-earned money where staff HAS NO RIGHT to treat me like he did. I called and emailed a contact request form and no one reached out to me. I've never been treated like this in a place where I follow rules. He's works in a laundromat, he's not saving lives. This place can pound sand. Apparently, Joe B takes only one sided positions. I said "blankets" and "Dude, I was patronizing this place before you even worked here" Mind you Joe B never bothered to make contact with me to get my side. I had one bag of blankets I was going to wash and JoeB has me breaking machines. I was refused service plain and simple.
