At each table gloves, chopsticks, hand sanitizer, plastic straws, and plastic utensils were provided. Which is such a thoughtful touch. The fried chicken was SUPER juicy and tender with a cornflake fried batter covered in chosen sauces. There were so many flavor options to choose from, which made it fun to decide. The pieces were huge, so the price felt completely worth it. The servers were especially kind and patient with us as first-timers. They took the time to explain the most popular flavors and gave great recommendations, which we really appreciated. The only downside were the sides. The onion rings and fries didn't seem to have any seasoning. So, they tasted a bit plain compared to the bold, flavorful chicken. I'd definitely come back for the chicken alone. If you're craving crispy, juicy fried chicken with tons of flavor options, this is a spot worth trying!

If I got dropped into Seoul and wandered into a chicken/Korean food spot, I imagine it would be just like this. Soju, fried chicken, and delicious traditional Korean meals. The restaurant has a very urban vibe. The walls are full of messages from patrons and the tables are low and steel. This is not fancy. It's about good food shared amongst interesting people. For the fried chicken you can't go wrong with yum yum or supreme sauces. In the restaurant: try the cheesy corn, the beef bulgogi and cheese boldak!

Next visit my friend and I decided to try their wings since they claim they have the best wings in the area They were as small as my thumbnail and cooked to almost burnt black. I ordered my wings plain and it came doused in hot sauce which I'm not a fan of. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she said well that's all the wings we have because we sell out fast. Fine no problem. I paid my bill, got a to-go box and gave it to the homeless gentleman on the corner of Dequindre. Hopefully he enjoyed them more than I did. Also want point out that depending on what night you go the clientele greatly varies. On the night with the wings it was a pretty rough crowd inside and when we were leaving someone sideswiped my friend's car. To his credit he did stop and apologized but said he had no insurance and took off. There wasn't any major damage and my friend was able to buff out most of the scratches. There's too many other places in the Warren/Madison Heights area for bar food that I probably won't be returning to Bugsy's .

Whether we're dining in or getting a carry out, there's not a lot of consistency. Sometimes you get extra sauce on your wings where there's not a piece of breaded chicken showing. Other times, it looks like they only sauced half the wings. Alcohol drinks are sometimes spotty too. They can be really strong and other times it just seems like pop or juice.

I was put on hold for three minutes to put in my order. It's probably faster to order online. There's no dining in here. Not that it is really that kind of place anyways. I also ordered the fried corn. The crew pack comes with fries, but upgraded to the Cajun fries. It also comes with veggie sticks, whatever that is. I also got the ranch, which is made in house for defy. The order totaled $38.88. The woman that took my order said it would take about 20 to 30 minutes for the order to be ready. The cajun fries are OK. Decent Cajun seasoning. They're rather soggy and not crispy at all. They are at least hand cut fries, as they're all different sizes and thicknesses too. The veggie sticks are carrots and celery. The mango habanero is probably the better of the flavors to me. The garlic Parmesan was just OK. Nothing special. The atomic flavor is not my favorite. The Cajun corn is just OK. The corn seems a little overcooked though. The woman at the front desk is nice.

The building itself seems to have been updated recently. There's tons of seating indoors, and it seems like they do a lot of takeout business. The staff is friendly, and the menu is pretty expansive. You'll find your usual standard fare for hot chicken, with a splash of Indian (Desi) and Korean thrown in as well! You can tell the menu is catered to the current hot chicken craze among Millennials/ Gen Z (see also: "tendies"). The service can be a bit slow right after they open. We arrived right at 11 and found that tbey were still heating up oil, etc-- it took 20-30 minutes for our orders to arrive, making it a tight fit for the lunch break. The real tough pill to swallow for me is the spice level experienced. I ordered the tenders in "cluckin hot" and I can assure you that they were cluckin not. I expect a lot more heat in the second hottest spice tier, so this was a disappointment. That said... I'm willing to give it another shot! CHC, I'll be back -- let's see what the cluck is all about!
