I always order their soy chicken and it is really good and this time its my first time to order half and half, like half drumstick and half wings and it was really good. I had heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to try it. All orders are placed at the counter. The menus are on the screen + folded menus. The place is hip & cool looking with different type of sitting area both indoor & outdoor. There is beer on tap and I strongly recommend you are hungry when you come here because the servings proportions are very healthy. Made an online order before I picked up my food. I ordered the lunch special which was 4 wings and 2 drums with soy garlic flavor chicken and radish for $15. Pulled up to the cashier and the older lady in front of me took a very long time to make a transaction. I can tell the cashier was trying her best to help her but I was getting a little impatient since mine was just pick up order. My friend and I stopped in for a late dinner on Saturday night after seeing a movie. The inside is fairly small in comparison to the location that I've been to in Natomas, but they are located in the same shopping center on Arden next to Cinemark and Home Goods. I've only been to the Natomas location one time, but I remember that we really enjoyed the food so I was happy to check out this location. We ordered the Bulgogi Fries and Korean Tacos with Fried Chicken to share. We really enjoyed both items - they were very flavorful and filling. This one felt a little more casual than the others I've been to. It was just ok. The bibimbap I got was alright, but not very memorable at all. The chicken was alright/OK, and not as good as you can get in the same general neighborhood unfortunately. They did have a self serve fountain drink setup, and that's always appreciated. Hello, I made a to-go order on DoorDash and had my bf pick up the food for me. I ordered Bibimbap and wanted to make sure there was Gochujang. And the staff lied to him and told him they don't have it at that location. We trusted them and stopped on the way home at a supermarket to get Gochujang coz I really wanted it. Come to find out there was Gochujang and they were just being sarcastic. We really don't appreciate the sarcasm and had they just told us there was some in there we wouldn't have wasted 20 min of our time going to get more. I ordered the lunch special with mixed wings and drumsticks with soy garlic and Korean BBQ sauces and coleslaw. The chicken was fried perfectly crispy and tangy outside with moist tender meat inside. Wow...this place was horrible. I ordered the glass noodle dish with Bulgogi and an order of Bao with pork skin. The Bao was alright. Small with one square of pork skin in each one. I got 3 in the order. The big disappointment was the Bulgogi glass noodle dish. I got my order and there was I kid you not..about 1oz of shredded bulgogi. I know my measurements because I follow a macro diet and weigh my meat every day. I went to the cashier to ask if they can add more meat. We also got Shrimp Shumai which was ok at best honestly. They also have a small selection of beer here including Coors, Num num Juice, New Glory, Sapporo, and a few others. I love Bonchon!!! Korean fried chicken is chef kisses. I always get bonchon but it is sometimes expensive. I do recommend getting a mixed medium-sized which is about $30. You must get the soy garlic chicken and spicy. It is one of my family's and friend's favorite chicken flavor. I do wish they gave out sauce when you order a mix instead of paying 99¢ for sauce. We also got some of the seasoned French fries and yummy. It was delicious. I do recommend the French fries. This spot is perfect when you want some delicious Korean fried chicken and their chicken is big!!! Love this place. I deducted a star because of the "cleanliness" of their fountain machine. It seemed like someone spilled their drink and just walked away from it days ago. It was super sticky. 4 stars for their yummy food and speedy services. Even though it always looks like there's a long line, they get your order out quickly. And it's accurate. The food is always delicious and it always tastes freshly made. Not like the pre-packaged frozen foods that were warmed up in the microwave (trust me, I've been to some places who do this), you can taste the difference. I came to this specific location about 3-4 times and I'm always greeted with a smile and welcomed in. Tables and chairs are usually cleaner than the fountain drink machine. Yet, during those visits the machine is always sticky and has some sort of leftover spills surrounding it. If you look past the fountain drink machine, this place is worth the visit. read more

Some of the Bonchon are full service. The chicken wings are not as crispy as the other Bonchon I have visited. But it still tastes good. My orders are ready at around 10 minutes after I place the order. The two ladies working at the order counter are friendly and helpful. The dining room is comfortable. The wings had the perfect crispy texture but they only offer two flavors. I wasn't too big a fan of either. I ordered the Tteokbokki and it was such a disappointment. It lacked authenticity of what Tteokbokki should taste and look like. I believe it was made with hot sauce because that's what it looked and tasted like. The pork buns were delicious. It was okay, but I expected better. I guess it was food food so probably had unrealistic expectations. It tasted like it was frozen chicken fingers they just quickly fried and put sauces on. Now, I agree the sauces are good, I got the half-and-half, and the spicy definitely had a kick, but the chicken was dry and the batter too thick. I am glad I tried it and all, but it jut wasn't to my taste. Plus, I was VERY disappointed they gave everyone a plastic to-go bag even if eating inside. So 4 years ago my buddy bought me $50 worth of gift certificates specifying this location. About a year ago i was in the area and wanted to use them. The cashier told me they weren't valid anymore. No expiration date was on it. This cashier said he recognized the handwriting and it was of a person that no longer works there. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she told me that the franchise was bought by a new owner and they weren't honoring them anymore and said that the previous owner is now at the elk grove location and that it may be honored there but no longer in the sacramento location. Bonchon is one of my go-tos for yummy Korean fried chicken. The skin is always super crispy and light. We tried out the location in Arden and dined in. We ordered the family style, which was 12 wings and 6 drums, fried rice, french fries, and coleslaw. It took about 5-10 minutes before our food was ready. There were four of us and we were able to finish about half of the chicken. They provided us paper plates, utensils, and paper napkins. I saw there was a limited time flavor called korean bbq, it doesn't have any spicy flavors and is very mild. Compared to the actual spicy flavor they have, it's more similar to the soy garlic. It was still very delicious and worth trying out. Their french fries were airy and crispy, definitely addicting since we finished them all quick. The fried rice wasn't too salty or oily which I loved. It paired really well with the chicken. Their coleslaw is great as well, it's creamy and crunchy. There's a lot of seating inside with high tables or lower tables with benches. Their drink machine was unfortunately down when we ate there, but they have bottled drinks for purchase as well.
