The fried chicken drumsticks here are awesome! I have been to this franchise a few times and it's become a favorite for me while traveling here in Virginia. I love that there's a bonchon in Manassas!! This location always gives you a ton of food and it always tastes yummy. My only issue is when I order it to be picked up, that they're often running behind; so maybe give them a few extra minutes before you pick up to avoid the wait. read more

Our excitement to try a new place quickly went to regret when we received our food. I ordered the bibimbap with seafood. It was awful. No taste. They cannot bring you the soy garlic to season with, it can only come to you on the specified menu items. Odd. It was the best tasting sauce. Our waitress was awesome and very apologetic. Today was my very first time trying Korean food, and first time eating at Bon Chon! Let me say it was such a great first experience. I forgot the chicken katsu. It was so yummy! Perfectly moist chicken, and sticky steamed rice. So simple but so, so yummy! Also our server was such a sweetheart, she made great suggestions, and was extremely attentive! I have been eating at Bon Chon quite awhile and it has always been one of my favorite. Although I do not think I will be going back to the manassas establishment. Don't get me wrong the staff is friendly and fast. But the Centreville location has so much more to offer. Due to the fact that the manassas location "drum sticks" are almost the same size as a chicken wing leg. It's not worth it when you are getting smaller portions and the flavor isn't as good as the Centreville location. Overall, if you haven't tried it and want to I suggest the Centreville location or just getting the lunch special at manassas... not worth it to pay more. read more

The chicken strips are good with the soy garlic. The bulgogi wrap is big. The onion rings flavorful and big. The sauce with the rings is good. I take out and have never eaten here, but everyone is friendly at the counter. read more

Want to give a low rating but the food is good lol So I Went to eat here today 5/9/19 with my friend and service was decent as always, food was great as always I even ordered an extra plate of food to take home for someone. My friend and I were sitting there waiting, we weren't going to leave without my other order, right? I haven't left tip yet because i was going to wait until I had received the extra order to leave the tip so it isn't awkward when I left the tip. So the waiter- I didn't get his name I just never saw his name anywhere which was my mistake to not check or ask and he never told us either- he collected the checkbook thing and looked inside- btw were still waiting for the extra order- the waiter looked inside and handed the book back to us and said "can you leave a tip in there? It's my only job haha" and he walked away and me and my friend just looked at each other in shock like what...did he really just ask for a tip... I just got annoyed because you don't have to ask for a tip. I'm nice I'll leave a tip no matter the service because I understand it could be a persons only job like he said or even if they're struggling at home trying to money you know what I mean? So I left him a note and I hope he learned his lesson not to do that because if it wasn't me who he said that to he most likely would have not gotten a tip at all!! The bulgogi is ot what I get from other bonchon. It's full of mushrooms and red onion and is completely tasteless. Wings are not like the other bonchon, especially the spicy one. Not spicy at all and the radishes are this wierd sweet tasting things and dont have that radish stink.....the stink that makes it good. Drive up few miles and go to the one in chantilly.....its much much much better! read more

This place is awesome. I ordered door dash pick up because I had a coupon. Never tried it before because I don't eat meat and I thought they primarily served chicken. I ordered fried rice and vegetable potstickers. I ordered the spicy and soy garlic sauce and requested on the side. Right after I placed the order, I got a call from the restaurant. A very kind woman (I wish I remembered her name!) let me know that unfortunately they can't do sauce on the side because of a corporate policy. No biggie. I just don't like sauces sometimes - these sauces though were incredible! She let me know that the spicy was 8/10 hot and asked if I still wanted it. I do love spicy, but there is a limit. She let me try only 2 with the spicy, and the rest with soy garlic just in case it was too hot for me. Excellent customer service! I just wish I had gone half and half with the spicy as I originally ordered. The spicy sauce was the perfect amount of heat. The soy garlic was delicious. And the best fried rice I've ever had. Poor service. Rewarmed chicken wings. TERRIBLE---wings served in less 5 minutes. Bon Chon NY Times article which describes the cooking process states it's it's at least two stage 16 minute cooking technique. BEEF FRIED rice disgusting ; Greasy and over loaded with soy sauce. Management unresponsive to addressing concerns. Print out of bill excluded line items and pretax total. Bill includes tip schedule by percentage based on inclusion of sales tax which is not permitted. In sum customers are subsidizing the franchisee tax obligation. read more

I thought this Bonchon location was pretty good. I've ordered both carry out and dine in and had positive experiences for each. Food is on point and Wings are cripsy and delicious as expected. When we dined in, our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Made sure our drinks were always refilled. Did notice one thing though, there were alot of the bar staff were just standing around because they didnt seem to have anything to do. read more

I am a huge Bonchon fan (been to both Woodbridge and Fredericksburg) so when I heard this location opened I just had to check it out when I was in the area. Eventhough it was newly opened, staffs were friendly and knew what they were doing. I ordered my usual salmon avocado ball, wings (mixed) and bulgogi beef fried rice. Food did not disappoint one bit. The salmon avocado ball was creamy with nice balance of saltiness and sweetness. The chicken wings were perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside, chicken moist and tender on the inside with the right amount of sauce. I prefer the spicy ones but my wife loved the soy garlic. The fried rice was just perfect and not overly oily. I couldn't find anything to complain about so giving this location 5 stars. read more

soy garlic wings & seasoned fries are delicious! the spicy are TOO spicy (& i love spicy) couldn't really enjoy them. lunch special prices are great but i think the dinner prices could be a tad cheaper & include a side instead of having to pay for it separately. pot stickers are great!!! everyone is super nice & the place is clean. read more
