Only a hint of soy garlic on their soy garlic chicken.

The chicken was cooked well, but there was barely any sauce on their soy garlic chicken, i feel jipped.

The food here was amazing. I have never been before today. Me and my friend bonnie were going to get cookies, but we saw this place as we were driving by and decided to stop in before we got a sweet treat. kind and quick service, I definitely recommend. Ambiance was better than words can describe, great lighting and decor! shout out to the workers and chefs behind the scenes

Please list the correct store hours. This store closes at 9:45 PM not 10:00 PM. I drove to this location thinking I'd be able to place an order well before 10 PM but the guy was already closing the register even though the open sign was on and the door was open. I wouldn't have wasted my time if the store hours were listed correctly.

    Bonchon Night ;)

I had just landed at Reagan National Airport when I decided to grab some wings on my way to my room. The local Bonchon was only a few miles away and in the same direction I was going to. I drove straight there and they had good parking in the shopping center. There was no line when I entered and I place my order ( this location does not sell the Korean wine Soju ) and sat down. Decided to read a couple reviews on yelp and to my surprise they had some of the worst ratings I've ever seen for any Bonchon in this country. Now I'm nervous, my orders already in and I'm not sure what to think. So I just decided to observe the establishment to see how they were operating. Can I spot the problems. This Bonchon location is a little bit smaller than what I'm used to seeing but they were generally clean ( the bathroom too ) and the atmosphere was pleasant. There was a couple sitting at the table enjoying their meal and each other's company. But most of the orders that came in was for takeout or pick up ( delivery ). They're located in a shopping center that generally closes at 9 PM but they stay open till 10. I noticed a larger portion orders the box could not close. Meaning the wing and leg pieces would be over the top and he literally couldn't close the box so he just put it in the bag and tie it off without actually closing the box or using a second box to complete the order. I notice / read a lot of people complained about that ( open wings box ) in the Yelp Reviews, but I was able to watch it firsthand that's the way he operates. The solution is to use as many boxes as necessary to complete the order especially on delivery orders. Stop trying to save money on using boxes. The world is just getting over COVID-19 and safety is paramount. especially in the delivery food business. Now my order is ready and I watched him place it in the bag without closing the box because it can't, it's over full and tie off the top ends of the bag. That's fine because I visually watched him do it but that would not work for delivery service. Now let's get to the texture and taste. The texture was fine deep fried with a nice coating but the flavor is was off. Half of my wings and legs were Soy Garlic flavor and the other half was spicy flavor. The soy garlic was a little bit off but I was able to identify it but my spicy was barely spicy with no flavor. That's not cool, that's not Bonchon. I am not interested on purposely returning to this location. But I do hope they get it together for Bonchon namesake.

    Chicken and popstickers together. Wow!

The worst Bonchon I have visited out of 10 in the 5 years. New management is need ASAP. I placed an order and realized I didn't want rice but because I paid for it the lady was brokered a deal to give me fries as a substitute; my fault I should have insisted on a refund. This was the first sign something ain't right. I ordered chicken wings and popstickers. When she gave me my order see picture. Embarrassing for a franchise.

Need a hand getting your 5 years old's wiggly baby tooth to come out - here's your solution....

I have been to Bonchon numerous times in several locations to include having large meals catered into our office. I ordered this through Uber Eats and the delivery driver couldn't have been nicer or faster. I read the reviews for this outlet and was waiting for their growing pains to get worked out. Unless they have a very drastic change - their outlet is going to close. People will not accept this sub-standard burnt offering as real Bonchon. Never in the history of ever - even with ordering platters of 100 strips and 100 bone-in wings have I had such a crappy experience. I ordered a 6 piece bone-in wing order, 5 pieces boneless strip order, and a side of bulgogi. The bulgogi side was $5.18 and while I wasn't expecting a pound of meat - I guess I'd envisioned more than a few tablespoons? I will NOT be ordering from this Bonchon ever again. I've tossed the strips because they are not just well-done - they are burnt and the breading is lumpy like it's coarsely ground cornmeal? If you read my review and think - wow - this woman is nuts, well - caveat emptor folks. Pictures speak louder than my pissed-off words so here ya go.....

The donuts they serve are delicious. But as far as entrees go, I think you can find better options locally for Korean food.

I believe the owner took my order, and broke everything down for me, which I appreciated. I ordered the fish and shrimp. The fish was very good and well-seasoned. The shrimp were jumbo, fried golden, and had a lot of flavor. Portions were solid -- I didn't even finish everything in one sitting and had some left for the next day. They also had a frozen fruit punched lol. That was a nice touch and fit the whole vibe of the place. Not a sitting area but this is a place you call your order in before you get there and take it back to the house. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. If I'm back in the area, I would definitely come back and grab another plate. If you're looking for some good seafood (and more), this is a spot worth checking out.

It's carry-out only and located on the top of mini hill with some auto repair shops surrounding it. Parking was a bit stressful, but the promise of good food made it worth it. The menu was pretty straightforward, and we got our food after a short wait. DINNER: WHITING - 20 + two sides: mac & cheese, coleslaw The fried whiting fish was thin, but perfectly crispy (even after a 20 minute car ride) and well-seasoned. Each bite was flavorful. The mac & cheese actually tasted 3D, unlike the bland, powdered cheese that is used at most places. It was on the thicker and chunkier side, the more I ate, the more addictive it got. The coleslaw was very refreshing and not too creamy. The portions were large, and my friend and I were full after sharing the platter. BREAD PUDDING - 4 This was fine, but not out of the ordinary. Probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, this is a hidden gem that is worth going to. I was worried the fried foods and heavier sides would irritate my stomach's sensitivity, but none of that happened here! Will definitely be back for other entrees and sides!

The staff was wonderful, especially our server Noah, who was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better. We did the bottomless dinner, and the value is honestly unbeatable. We tried the grilled gem lettuce, marinated cucumbers, street corn, hoisin-glazed pork belly bao buns, P22 cheeseburger sliders, spicy shrimp & pancetta pizza, funghi pizza, dan dan noodles, rigatoni norcina, and the sesame steak skewers. Everything was delicious, but the standouts were the dan dan noodles (rich, savory, and packed with flavor), the funghi pizza (crispy with earthy mushrooms and perfectly melted cheese), and the sesame steak skewers (tender, juicy, and coated in a flavorful sesame glaze). The hoisin-glazed pork belly bao buns were soft, fluffy, and packed with melt-in-your-mouth pork, while the rigatoni norcina was creamy, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The grilled gem lettuce was also a fresh, flavorful way to start the meal. For drinks, the white sangria and pomegranate ginger mocktail were both refreshing and delicious. Dessert didn't disappoint either, the flourless chocolate cake (with candied pecans instead of hazelnuts) was rich without feeling too heavy, and the churros were light, crispy, and perfect with the caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. We finished with cappuccinos, which were the perfect ending to the meal. 10/10 experience, we'll definitely be back!

We started going there when they first opened long before COVID. It was fun, the rooftop was great. But it went downhill quickly and it's never come back. Given its reputation, which it's earned, it won't until someone strips that building down to the studs and starts over. An employee admitting to having sex with a patron in one of the restrooms. A bartender dealing drugs and offering his coworkers drugs to take his shifts. It's a pool house for tips and employees frequently use underhanded methods to avoid sharing tips with their coworkers. One bartender blatantly told patrons to not bother tipping on their check (card or cash) but use his personal Venmo for tips instead so only he would get the money. At one point, large quantities of bottles of Tito's vodka were missing because bartenders were simply giving away shots during their $5 Tito shots happy hour promo. A whole lot of liquor simply disappeared because staff just gave it to their friends or whoever asked and didn't account for it. Dudley's claims to be one of the best and largest sports bars in Northern Virginia. They had potential. They've failed at every turn. I asked a bartender (downstairs) to please put put the local MLB team on one of the TVs at the bar. Didn't ask for sound. Wasn't during some marquee sports event. Bartender #1 didn't know how to change the channel in their tv system. Or didn't want to bother. I don't know. Another bartender said they had to do the change in the office Because that's where the controls are. But they came back and said a manager had to do it. Manager #1 said they'd get to it if they could (this is mid day, mid week, NOT during a major sports tournament). Manager #2 made similar excuses. It took a scathing but politely worded post on Facebook for a manger who was off duty to come in, change the channel and demand I take down said post. We stopped trying to go watch baseball there because I got tired of pleading with management to watch a sporting match at a place that brands itself the largest and best sports bar in NoVa. They'd put on the local NBA team that stinks or any other random sport, but not the local MLB team. Cleanliness issues? The bathrooms are gross at best. They've been dinged so many times by the Arlington County Health Department for the most basic food safety issues and cleanliness issues. Guests have reported rodents running through the dining room. Save your money and your innards. Dudley's is trash and will remain so until it's sold, gutted, cleansed and rebuilt by people who know what they are doing. the latest new staff and new management aren't it.

The visit was unique, the story is unique and the food is unique! Let's do this! Established in 1950 or 1954 (reports vary but the sign on the building says 1954), Weenie Beenie was a modest hot dog stand serving hot dogs and beans. It was started by two brothers, Carl and Bill Staton. Bill happened to be an incredible and ultimately famous traveling pool player who went by the name... you guessed it... Weenie Beenie! He won 27k in Arkansas (which is a LOT of money in the 1950's) and used the money to finance the hot dog stand's growth! He appeared on television, played hustlers across the country, and backed other hustlers while living the pool and entrepreneur life. During the 50's, a period of entrenched segregation in Virginia, Weenie Beenie distinguished itself by hiring black employees on the same terms as whites when most white‑owned businesses would not hire blacks at all. This made Weenie Beenie a rare example of early workplace integration in Arlington and a meaningful employer within the historically Black Green Valley community. Its reputation for fairness became a very important part of its legacy, remembered along with the food and its very colorful founder. We popped over and found a 70+ year old walk-up stand with a colorful, diverse and engaging set of customers and friendly service. In faded letters on the front wall to the left are the 10 commandments! No breaking any divine rules at Weenie Beenie's! We all chatted and I learned the one guy comes every day! The old man in the suit was very polite and reserved. The younger Latin and black clientele were fun and engaging and we joked around quite a bit. Another older man was as 38-year veteran of the armed service! Thank you sir! I heard some stories... Of course, we ordered half-smokes! They are well-seasoned half-pork, half beef, smoked sausages that are truly incredible. Weenie Beenie's are unique and delicious! Life is good with a historic, unique, fun and respectful half smoke.

First thing's first: I'm not a fan of Korean BBQ per se. I don't see the logic of going to a…read morerestaurant to pay for the privilege of cooking. However, sometimes you gotta get out. Kanpai is in a prime place along Rockville Pike, but depending on when you go you may find easy parking. (If you're not bothered about where to park, ignore what I just said.) Out front there's something that looks like a tuk-tuk or rickshaw. Tbh, don't know if it's theirs or the business next door. The restaurant itself is clean and elegant. Also, not as loud as some Korean BBQs (thinking of KPOT off of Randolph Rd), which is important if you don't like being overwhelmed by everyone else's noise. That is one big '+' in Kanpai's favor. The waiter was cool and very helpful. Because of him I now know what the thin meat slices are meant for (which is for the soup), before then I had no clue. The food itself is good. Like, why wouldn't it be? I actually prefer the shabu-shabu (soup), makes me wish I knew how to do that myself so I wouldn't have to go out as much. Yes, the grill meats were great, as was the kimchi. These places are not cheap, but it was enjoyable while I was there. If you're not in a rush you can go a few doors down afterward to an import store selling everything from K-chips to puzzle-kits. So I would say...take your time. But don't warm your seats for more than 90 minutes, as Korean BBQs tend to kick people out (nicely, nicely) if one overstays. P.S. I'm sure they have some great drinks there, but even if I wanted to I couldn't loiter. That's what Bethesda is for. (Or at least how it used to be.)
