This is the petite ribeye steak so you get your money's worth

The food was great the service was wonderful loved seeing some of the history on the place. You do get your moneys worth

    24 oz ribeye.

OMG, there was so much food! The reviews I read were very good so we decided we would try Bon Rico for steaks. The staff were friendly and efficient. We were seated right away at a table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins. The menu does not tell you the sizes of the steaks which is my only criticism. We both chose ribeye, I chose the petite and my husband chose the regular cut. The petite is 16 ounces and the regular is 24 ounces. Both were gigantic! First we were served crudites, carrots, celery, pickles, peppers, olives and okra. Then came three large fresh baked rolls and butter. Following these we were served a huge cup of French onion soup. The soup had a large slice of buttery toasted baguette on top. It was just the right amount of cheese. The salad came next and it was very generous. It had a mozzarella ball as well as tomatoes and cucumbers. Our steaks were brought and they were cooked exactly as ordered. As I indicated they were enormous. We could have shared the petite and had enough. Our left overs will feed us for the next few days. They were served with a twice baked potato. It was delicious. It was topped with cheddar cheese it was very creamy. The potatoes themselves were very big. Our total bill came to $101 which we thought was very reasonable for the amount of food we got.

Best steakhouse in Wyoming. Service is excellent, steaks are the best in Wyoming and the environments is special.

Incredible lamb chops and onion rings

Great supper club. The food is ALWAYS well prepared, fresh, and well worth the price tag. You get many courses and they are well spaced out. I am usually full by the time I get my main which is always HUGE. I have had various steaks, pork chops, salmon, and lamb. I highly recommend the lamb, however, all have exceeded my expectations. It's a white tablecloth (actually, pink tablecloth) establishment, but you will find people dressed up for an anniversary and people dressed down out for a casual dinner for friends. This is a true family-run restaurant with the owner hosting/serving and his mother turning out wonderful meals in the kitchen. Don't come here expecting a quick bite to eat, slow down and enjoy the experience and atmosphere.

    Huge steaks!!

Wow, a real find in Evanston, Wyoming. A tiny place in the old part of town that only has 12-15 tables and my sister in law had to make a reservation a month in advance. First they brought out a veg plate, then appetizers, then soup, then salad, then rolls with butter, then entrees, then a cinnamon roll-type dessert. I got chicken but here are pics of the steaks. These were the 'medium' size steaks and at least 24 oz - there is a 'large' steak as well. No sauces (steak sauce, ketchup), no sour cream or butter for baked potatoes, just salt and pepper. And church tables. But what it lacks in ambience it makes up for in quantity and quality of food. If you are looking for a huge protein hit this is the place for you. Prices are amazing for the amount of food that you get, and the staff are amazing. What a find!!

We almost passed right by it because it doesn't stand out on the street. Doesn't much stand out when you walk in either... but don't let the eclectic old vibe fool you, this restaurant is one for the books!! I checked out the reviews before we decided on this restaurant for my son's birthday dinner. We are moving across the country and were just passing through Evanston. Here's my take: Make a reservation! Seating is VERY limited and they are only open for a short amount of time. Order appetizers at your own risk! I warned my husband that the reviews said the entrees were huge, as usual he didn't listen! He ordered the hot wings and the fried mushrooms. Both were very good! My son said the wings were the best he's ever had. I ordered the "petite" ribeye... It was ginormous! No joke, I brought 2/3 of it back to the hotel. I ordered it medium and it came out cooked perfectly. Not kidding when I say this was the BEST ribeye I've ever had! I ordered the twice baked potato as the side and it was fabulous! My husband ordered the regular size filet mignon, it was easily 5" high and 24 oz. And delicious!! Cooked perfectly medium and so tender! My son ordered the veal cutlets and a side of fried shrimp. He was thrilled with his meal. The veal was super tender and delicious, and the shrimp was some of the best we've had. All three meals came with soup, salad, bread (YUMMM), and dessert! None of us could finish our meals. And last but not least, our servers were amazing!! My glass was never empty and they were very friendly and attentive! If you are passing through Evanston, WY, I cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is one of a kind. The food is incredible, the service is incredible too. They really know meat at this place. Cooked perfectly and with the perfect seasoning. Portions are huge so be ready to leave full. Can't wait to pass through this town again, just to stop and have steak!

Ribeye...this was the medium size. Can't image what the large one would look like!

Absolutely a must go to place for dinner! Service is excellent and food is even better! Come hungry and be prepared to leave stuffed. Huge steaks and the price is amazing.

Service was great. Steak very bland, no flavor. Had the rib-eye which was a very poor graded rib eye cut. Tasted like a broiled roast.

We walked in at about 9:40 pm. The kitche closes at 10. We wouldn't have been surprised to be turned away, but the wonderful woman covering the bar and kitchen, forties, glasses, dark hair, was very friendly and gracious. She also took excellent care of us, despite really having to hustle. I had the pulled pork tacos and my wife had the teriyaki wings. The tacos(I ordered two)were stuffed with pulled pork that was very tasty, and came with crema, a sweet relish salsa, and cheese(a slight upcharge). My tacos came with tortilla chips that were crispy and well salted. My wife liked her wings. If we're passing through again, we would definitely stay in Evanston and have a meal at Lincoln Highway Tavern.

We were seated at a table in far end of the room. Once seated it's hard to get in and out from the wall seat because the table are pretty close together. I ordered the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss 4 Egg Omelet. They asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 eggs and I chose 4. As a substitute for the potatoes, I opted to choose the avocado which came as a slice 1/2 of avocado. For my toast option, I chose the single pancake, but could also have chosen a scone. The scone wasn't on the menu as a option, so I missed this when I ordered. My omelet was very flavorful, although a bit dense. I attributed that to the 4 eggs fitting into a 2 egg form factor, but I really don't know that for sure. The avocado was a good complement to the omelet and worked out very well. The pancake was delicious. There was syrup on the table and butter came on the plate. I gobbled it right down and thought that I maybe should have got another one. I have eaten here before when I was in the area, and will likely return again when up here. The busy nature of the restaurant is offset by the good quality food.

The name leads you to believe it was a Mexican restaurant, but they actually had Italian, American, and Mexican offerings on the menu. I had looked at the online menu before arriving and found that the prices were about $4.00 higher online than on the menu inside the restaurant. The hostess was friendly and welcomed us with a smile. She seated us quickly and there were not too busy. The waitress was efficient with taking our order, but the food seemed a little slow to come out based on the number of customers. I ordered the Avocado Eggs Benedict. It was very tasty and the avocado complemented the traditional eggs benedict well. It came with hashbrowns that were cooked like I like them, not too crispy but not mushy or soggy either. The waitress came by regularly and kept our drinks full. I took an order of buffalo chicken wings to-go. When we opened them to eat later, the lettuce they put in the to-go box was all wilted. The carrots and celery were pretty tiny and didn't add much to the dish. The blue cheese dipping sauce was a good flavor and offset the buffalo sauce well. The chicken wings were smaller and not anything special. I would recommend the breakfast here, but suggest skipping the chicken wings.

The service does kinda take a while for them to noice you're waiting at the door. Which is understandable when low staff working. No biggie. Otherwise, the food is pretty decent and I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're coming to Evanston for some vape juice or fireworks haha. Once you're sat down, you're welcomed with chips, flavorful chunky salsa and a bean dip. We ordered the Carne adobada (marinated asada) both times Two pics are from this time and two are from last time for reference. The meat is flavorful and tender. Moist fluffy rice. The beans... are well, beans lol... We also ordered the guacamole for an appetizer, unfortunately was very disappointed in that. Not in the guac itself, it tasted great. But the price $10 freaking dollars is absurd, for what half an avocado? (What you see in the picture is what we got. It was shaped in a ball like small ice cream scoop before I smashed it around but it was an extremely small amount) like I get inflation,.... but that much for so little. Also the knives are dull a fk. Lol I will come here over and over again but won't be getting the guac appetizer again.
