Every single time, I walk out feeling completely satisfied and loving everything done. As I sit in the salon, I hear pleasant conversations, stylists actually listening to their clients needs and wishes, and honest feedback. They are not going to try to just "make the sale" but tell you the honest truth so that you are both satisfied and get the look you want. Today I got a Brazillian Blowout from Allison Hackett. I have extremely thick and frizzy hair. Sheila had given me the perfect cut after letting my hair grow. We cut over 12" off. Allison did the Brazilian Blowout and I started to cry with joy - actual tears of joy! Never has my hair looked or felt this great, styled so easy and just looked amazing. I can leave it straight or allow the curl to come out and be happy with both! I cannot stop smiling! The Color Room is not just a salon - it's a family. She cancelled my appointment less than half an hour before due to a "flat tire", and without missing a beat told me she didn't see my Groupon so I must have bought it for another stylist. I sent her a screenshot of my very active Groupon that expires May 29th. She sent me back a screenshot of Groupon on her end where she can see her Groupons. She had the search set for the past 30 days. I told her that I bought it over 30 days ago and to check that. She said she did and didn't see it, but she notably didn't send me a screenshot of that. Here's the scam - she wanted me to pay the Groupon price to her the next day and get a refund from Groupon! I contacted Groupon and escaleted this with the screenshots. Save yourself the time and money. Anyone who would do something like this obviously isn't someone I want to give my money to.

She does a great job and obviously cares about not making a mess of your hair. However i had an appt with her on April 21st and she reschedules me an hour before my appt for the next Sat the 28th. I was a little upset but thats ok things happen. So she text me at 10am saturday of the new appt and asks me to meet her at Salon Concepts at 1130am i was there and i sat there for an hour all the while she NEVER SHOWS UP YALL! AND...She ignored all of my texts and calls (i was worried something may have happened to her she tells me an hour before my appt she will be there and then theres nothing but silence from her end) so information has been given to me by one of her friends that she had blown me off to hang out with her buddies etc. and i still have yet to hear from her.... Just Wow....So instead of telling me she couldnt make it to do my hair she leaves me to sit and wait on her and then ignore me wtf. I have only lived in Kentucky for 1 year and i barely know this girl shes done my hair twice and these are the only two times we have been around each other so we arent friends. she did a good job both times she did my hair but the professionalism and reliability is definitely not here with this one. I am really disappointed with the way my hair was left the other day. The stylist "didn't have time" to blow dry my whole head so she left exactly half of my hair dry and frizzy and the other half soaking wet and thats how I left the salon. It extremely disappointing to me as I expect to leave the salon feeling good about myself (what if I had an important place to go right after?). This was not a good experience for me, especially when I paid over $100 to get my hair done.
